Travel › Re: Building A Rapid Mass Transit System (Metro-Rail) In Lagos by agaba123(m): 4:48pm On Nov 02, 2008 |
Midas02: Horus, asking China to help us build a Metro-system is like asking Mugabe to help advance democracy!. It is like asking a man with impaired vision to lead the blind! This is the kind of poorly conceived and ignorant decision making that keeps plaguing our nation with absolutely no end in sight. So let me scream it: CHINA'S METRO SYSTEM AND A RAIL NETWORK IS ITSELF IS A PRODUCT OF CO-OPERATION WITH FOREIGN MULTI-NATIONALS!!!.
Any Government that intends to make serious decisions with regards to Metro-systems should be talking to such multi-nationals as the Bombardier Corporation, Siemens AG, Alstom Corporation, Mitishi MetroWagon Corporation, Veolia Corporation, Kawasaki Heavy industries, Hyundai-Rotem and so on. These are the movers and shakers who built the technology and helped the chinese accomplish their goals. Obasanjo gave the chinese CCCCP company contract for constructing 1400km of standard gauge railway at a whooping cost of $6.2billion, what has come out of it??. China's railway industry is only just modernising and maturing yet and we keep dealing with those two novice nations - China and India! Now 'told' them. This guy is ticking all the right boxes. I would like a friend like you. |

Romance › Re: Why Don't Nigerian Girls Appreciate Flowers As Gifts? by agaba123(m): 7:21pm On Nov 01, 2008 |
Flower is not african culture.
So you won't blame them. Love is expressed in african way by material gift. This is because women were meant to be dependent in African culture.
However, if you give a white girl only flower on a birthday when you have money to get her a good gift, she will consider another bloke on the side. |

Busy_body: I am so sorry darlink for misinterpreting things, I know you have been telling me to go for that eye test to check out my eyesight, and I promise you I will go and book the appointment straightaway.
You know how jealous I can be, but I hope you are not vexed with me for wrongly accusing you of what you did not do, I promise to start trusting you from now henceforth. And I promise you that if I see you on top of another woman, I will just turn round and go to the optician to prescribe me a stronger glasses Good girl that surely means you will never see an optician again |

oldie: A good lesson for all When you are privileged to serve the public Do not play politics with your position
The ex-minister was more interested in destroying what his predecessor did Politically correct decisions and pronouncements are not always the right decisions! He was too desperate to hold-on to his post, and playing to the gallery
Has he left Abuja better than he met it? Candidly, No Thanks for speaking for me. This is a guy that engaged el rufai like he stole his wife from him. He is ashamed that El will be laughing at him. That is why he is crying. He never believed the honey moon would be over very quickly. Croc. tears |

Dis Guy: as we can see 48years latter, we are really fighting to make things happen whilst oga is busy burning 200million inside cometary-lecturers are busy grabbing your girlfriends, awarding you marks based on your settlement levels
Nigerian raised kids are also raised as victims as their environment! As docile as anything, Yes Sir Yes Ma to even criminals and rapists!!!
I've seen kids return from their 'schooling' in nigeria with advance scamming knowledge!!!
[sub]to the honest parent sending ther kids to naija are just looking for an easy way out- you see them doing 80hrs a week extra!! |
