agaugust: that is your friend's personal opinion about one single nigerian soldier out of the almost 200,000 nigerian military men. your officers are not better than ours, it is special to be trained with different military doctrines and battlefield tactics and war strategies of many super power countries of the world, it very special, it is NOT common, and it is very expensive as it costs billions of dollars for nigeria in many years, and we continue to do it.

every nigerian military officer from 2nd lieutenant up to 5 star general have university degree, BSc, MSc or Phd, all of them have one of those degrees or all of those 3 degrees. even now many nigerian soldiers from private to sergeant or warrant have BSc degrees. so nigeria knows the quality of soldiers we have and we spend billions of dollars to train them in american, european or asian military academy.

no other african country has that number of high qauality military officers like nigeria. when you want to go to war, try research and know if you are fighting an average officers corp or a first class officer corp with high intelligence and best world training, so that you dont get a surprise defeat from your enemy's forces. dont be like saddam who thought he could defeat iran. a war between nigeria and south africa will end like iran-iraq war, any intelligent world class military officer can tell you that if he wants to be honest, and let him read pages 1 to the last page of this thread. that is enough information for the wise.

nigerian officers graduate from many USA and British military schools with higher grades than the whites sometimes. that is special, when blacks do better than whites in a white school. let us tell the truth.

south african navy warships block nigerian oil exports, it will damage American, Chinese and Indian economies, they will send their Naval Aircraft Carriers, Stealth Detroyer warships (destroyers are bigger than frigates of south african) and nuclear powered submarines to sink and destroy all the entire south african navy warships and submarines, you just try it and i promise you and that south africa will have no navy again after that wrong military strategic action you want to make.

you south africans dont carefully study full details about your enemy and his military capacity before you go and fight a war. thats how you fought war with tiny Cuba near your homeland and south african military failed to win, you were almost defeated by Cuba in that war because south africa likes to over-rate her own military power and under-rate her enemy forces ability to make war. then you blame Russia for helping Cuba when the whole world knows that France, Britain, USA, and Israel also help south africa with the best weapons to balance equation in that bush war.


you south africans are good at posting photos of your weapons and listing their names here, but you dont know reality of war and how countries win and lose wars, you dont study war history and you like to under-estimate your enemy, then you lose war and blame the devil for your defeat.

go and read the history of iran-iraq war operation desert storm and find out thereal reason America destroyed Iraq with ,military force after saddam blocked all kuwaiti oil exports to USA. also google the USA navy force with nuclear powered aircraft carriers and destroyer warships in the persian gulf of arabia always there on a permanent basis to stop any country like iran or iraq from blocking vital oil exports that can damage the economy of USA.

south africans listen, i will soon have time out of office in a few days, and i will teach you the art of real war, not posting photos of weapons on nairaland forum alone, that,s not a real war, photos of weapons dont fight, it is real people with weapons that win a war. south africa forces will fight against our world class trained nigerian military commanded by nigerian generals, admirals, air marshals all trained in USA, Britain, Germany, India, China, Italy, and Israel best of world class military academy. what do you think nigeria is ? 1)Now African nation needs French permission to deploy troops and this applies even where French troops have military bases don't come and talk nonsense here.

2)The UN approved the Mali deployments last year Dec 2012 already and ECOWAS at that time including Nigeria said that there soldiers would need training and mission de briefing before deployment and they were not expected to deploy before Sep 2013 and that's a fact.

3) France never had a military base in Mali they only had 600 troops stationed there to train the Mali army and for evacuation, before the rebels decided to attack.
4)SANDF don't have any deployments in Congo Brazaville and has over 1280 troops in DRC so don't LIE and talk SH*T here.

What we have no feet. We stand up strong and take our issues to the world. Nigeria is happy to sit there and let forghin countries dicted the region. The fact that niger has a drone base is not a big deal. The fact Nigeria has nothing to say about it is a sighn of weakness. When Mali was in troubel you moved so slow france had to step in. Where south africa was able to get its under funded (and yes we are under funded) milltary thousand of killomoters to centrail african republic in only a few days. Hell chad responded faster than you in nigeria. You country wants to be a big player but dose nothing about it. South africa wants to be a big player and so we moved to become one. You may be the giant of africa but we are the shining light that leads it.

For sometimes I have been reading comments posted by Nigerians and trully I have found such to be shallow in content and outrightly full of putting them down syndrome (PHD). Whenever a progressive and positive comments are made, it gets shut down not through a positive debate but a mob sychosis which is not intellectually stimulating.

All people are proud of their heritage and nationality but the problem however is when people begging to believe that their country is the best and start ridiculing those that differ. Such an approach shows weakness and cowardice to face the reality that Nigeria is an AFRICAN GIANT WITH CLAY FEET.

agaugust: the military forces of south africa, contrary to peoples belief, is actually full of old weapons, their boys on this forum hide the many old weapons and post fancy hollywood pictures and movies of the few modern weapons. a way of tricks, but that wont last long, it ends today. south africans say nigerian navy has old warships, but here is evidence that south african navy also has many old warships.

2 missile attack ships, in use long ago 1979 they are 34 years old, 4 mine-sweepers, in use long ago 1981 they are 32 years old. one of them is named GALESHEWE an old missile warship that is 30 years old already and see the photo posted here below.

if you remove their new 4 ships which are good, all the other warships are too old in service from around 1968 to 1988 and that is about 25 of about 33 ships.

that means over 77% of south african navy warships are long overdue for the museum, yet they keep on over-rating themselves.

agaugust: no intelligent person will accept information posted on this forum topic which cannot be independently verified by the general public, we dont want to read some peoples private and personal list of south african weapons and so called upgrades that CANNOT be verified on official websites of south african military or unbiased wikipedia.

nigerian military has many weapons upgrades too including amoured tanks, and i posted them in the past, but the south africans refused to accept them, so we too will NOT accept yours also. what is good for the goose is good for the gander, we will judge you the same way you judged us. period.

all the information i posted which you south africans now argue against is from south african navy and army official website, that is what can be confirmed. black people should learn to be honest in life. swallow the bitter truth about your many old weapons and be like men, not nagging like women making excuses for soup that burned on the cooking stove.

nigerian navy missile and helicopter equipped stealth warship under contruction almost ready in shipyard, i post the photo below,several of it are coming to join our navy, but i dont want to count it for our list of weapons today until they all arrive in lagos. just let us be fair and honest black men.

nuen you came too late to this forum, go back to pages 20 to 40 of this thread aqnd update your knowledge of nigerian weapons. please think before you talk, we are comparing armoured vehicles and you are posting photos of rifles and helicopters, i guess you went to school, so dont mix 123 with abc. also please dont take us back on this thread by returning to weapons that we have spent so many weeks to compare on pages 20 to 40, kindly do some revision of previous comments on this topic and save our time, you are a late comer sir.
