.

That is why l pity those who are blowing up the pipelines, further polluting their own environment thereby limiting agricultural ventures thriving in that region.

The proceeds from Agriculture tends to impact more on an individual as against that of oil. I prefer to be from a non-oil producing community, l engage the land and bring forth bountiful harvest, things are within my control, not where only some criminals elements are the only ones benefiting from the oil in the community while majority are starved off the benefits that should have been accrued and worst still the land can not provide an alternative means of sustenance!
so why are you people so fixated on the oil? Crash of oil prices with booming agriculture yet governors cant pay salaries, including the south west states except lagos.

Do you think it is only kids senseless kids on this forum? huh huh huh
PoliticsRe: Why Minimum Wage Cant Be A "Palliative" For Fuel Price Hike by agitator: 10:34am On May 20, 2016
HIGHESTPOPORI:
I support this, same Zombies shouting NLC should negotiate for minimum wage increase instead of fuel subsidy know that even d state Govts have not been able to pay d former one,not to talk of an increment, who are the deceiving?
In addition, minimum wage increase will further push up prices of consumers goods. It is well known fact in Nigeria that whenever there is a government minimum wage increase prices also increase.

Secondly, diesel that had been deregulated since OBJ's tenure with the crash of crude prices worldwide has it reduced?

what the independent marketers will do is simply source for the few available dollars, at whatever price and order for reduced volume and sell at exorbitant price for more profit. embarassed embarassed embarassed

PoliticsRe: Gov Dickson Goofed, Bayelsans/ijaws Are Not Lazy by agitator: 7:32am On May 19, 2016
wirinet:
Truth they say is bitter, that is why we cringe and fill social media with vitriolic attacks on who ever dares tell us the truth to our face. Although i have never been a fan of Governor Seriake Dickson, i appreciate his frankness in telling Bayelsan (and by extension Nigerdelta) youths the absolute truth. Nigerdeltan Youths especially the men, are extremely lazy, Go to Yenagoa, Sapele, Warri, Port harcourt, etc, the story is the same, the youth are only interested in community runs, extortion and handouts from Oil companies, local, state and federal governments instead of doing physical and mental work. Give them scholarships, they sell it to non indigenes. Give them Jobs, they sell the Jobs to others and sit down at home to collect a small percentage from the non indegene they sold the jobs to. Give them money for business, they drink alcohol, party, go clubbing and have more women in their harem. As a true Nigerdeltan, i am sure you can relate to what seriake dickson is saying. I have cousins who sold the slot allocated to them by the community to Igbo boys. One of my cousin was in the committee Uduaghan set up to provide loans to youths to set up fish farms in warri. I can tell you that all the Youths collected N500,000 and disappeared into thin air.

In all your vitriolic against Governor Dickson, you did not dispute any of the points he raised.

We need a total re-orientation in the Niger delta. We have to instil the value of hard work, instead of the belief that because we have oil, we should get everything free in life. The tragedy of the Nigerdelta is that we are not producing quality leaders to lead us out of our present quagmire, instead we are producing thugs, militants and criminals as leaders.
You lied that you are an Ijaw when you listed Sapele, Port Harcourt and Warri as being Ijaw towns. This is one of the problems we have now, because of lying adults, youths no longer listen to the elders advice. angry angry angry

PoliticsRe: Petrol Would Sell N99.38 Per Litre Without Subsidy – PPPRA (may 2, 2016) by agitator: 11:08am On May 13, 2016
sparrowkid:
The little explanation for that is simple. Previously, they were giving the marketers FX through CBN at the official rate of N197. But now they have asked the marketers to source for their own forex at the rate of N285 according to the Minister of state for Petroleum Resources yesterday on Channels TV. The PPPRA used the unofficial rate in the calculation.
This government is funny. Ordering someone to go and source for forex at N285 when it was hovering between N318 - N320/$1. Also with the oil marketers entry into the parallel market the dollar exchange rate will surely increase. grin grin grin

PoliticsRe: Buhari & Osinbajo Said This About Fuel Subsidy In 2011 During GEJ Time(pics) by agitator: 10:46am On May 12, 2016
LoveMachine:
C'mon fam no need for all that. Hypocrite? Not at all.

During the high crude season to deregulate would have been a problem. At present with the fall in price of crude coupled with the shortage of forex due in large part to the jamboree of looting the continuation of subsidy seems impossible.

Buhari said he would end subsidy and he has. That would seem to me as though he has made good on a campaign promise.

I'm not pro-APC nor pro-PDP. I'm pro-Naija! I love my people and I want to see us win. I supported the last gov't just like I will support the present gov't and the following. If and when they misstep I'll do my part to help them get back on their feet and provide good governance. I can't play opposition politics because I'm not a politician. I pray every elect official does an amazing job!

GEJ did some good things while in office but not enough to retain the presidency. At present, APC is in the Villa. I'd prefer to see them make good on their campaign promises. This past year has been rough but won't lie the GEJ years were bar none the roughest time of my life.
You are the type of parent that tells his kid(s) "In my days I was first in all tests and exams." And the kid knows you are lying but keeps silent out of respect. Do you think you are talking to your kids? huh huh huh

obiremy:

In continuation of the ongoing clearance operations of suspected Boko Haram terrorists hideouts, troops of 155 Task Force Battalion conducted a patrol on Nimila village yesterday, April 10.

During the operation, they rescued 14 people, mostly women and children  from the clutches of Boko Haram terrorists.

The troops also recovered 3 Dane Guns; a single barrel and 2 double barrels. They further recovered 3 motor cycles abandoned by the terrorists, in addition to 2 mobile telephone handsets.

Source: http://www.trezzyblog.com/2016/04/photos-troops-rescues-14-hostages-from.html
Are these local hunting guns the so called sophisticated arms BH were using during GEJ's time that the NA could not match their firepower and were running and surrendering.

Since APC took over power and the army have been displaying weapons seized from boko boys, I have not seen one except to those that belonged to the Nigerian Army found in the possession..

omenka, beremx, passingshot, ngeneuku caseless, demdem, etc where always on nairaland running this propaganda bombarding nigerians on the superior firepower of the boko boys.

It is just strange while all of a sudden we can not see the superior firepower all they have been posting is hunter's dane guns.
