They said it is land set aside for "Sights and services" scheme and some **** here are talking about grazing. What concerns sights and services with grazing? To make matters even worse, Jonathan initiated that scheme and it covers every state of the federation. Other states are utilising the lands for that purpose (accommodation and recreation) and Anambra state revoked theirs. But since it is coming from the land of the "untouchables" ****the fg should simply fold her hands and watch them do as they please.

Why didn't they object to it when the ineffectual buffoon was mapping out the land for that purpose??

People just keep coming here to show shat ignorant fools they are everyday- simple "sights and services" dem no sabi. Smh.
So, GEJ acquired the land in 1992?

Reserve it? I laugh in Anioma...

How can you reserve it when you destroy it? How can? We destroy our own environment in other to spite government as if those in power will feel it. Simple truth is that they won't! They have eaten enough money to last them for generations. It's the common man that will suffer it. Our environment has been destroyed, rivers polluted, no development anywhere & youth restiveness but we add self destruction to all these because of "our oil" mentality. What have our leaders done for us? What have the so-called freedom fighters done for the common man? We keep blaming government that builds schools, hospitals, etc for us and yet we can't see our own enemies. We Niger Deltans and even the south easterners are so wicked to ourselves and self centred. We are cruel to our plight and only God can help us, not the government, not federalism and not even secession. Even if we have Niger Delta republic or Biafra today, worse problems shall emerge because the same wicked and self centred hegemonic people will still be at the helms of affairs. So there is no utopia for us unless we fight for our rights, the right way.

The government has not done enough, granted! But why do we cause more havoc? Violence is not the way. Scoring own goals is not the way.

We can dialogue, involve international groups and other nations, cause civil disobedience, protest, etc but never violence or self destruction. Look at the American Civil rights movement and learn a lesson or two from there.

It is well..

Only crooks will invest in a country like 9ja with the attendant enslavement of the 9ja staff, no wonder people keep complaining of the inhuman treatment by foreign employers of labour.

Also, are you aware that products manufactured in 9ja are not same quality as those manufactured by the same company operating in other African countries, like Ghana, Morocco, Egypt, Gabon, etc. undecided undecided undecided

PropertiesRe: How Does This Spetic Tank Work? by agitator: 1:56pm On Jun 17, 2016
Almaiga:
What's the difference between a Septic tank and a Soak-away.
People have been using the two words interchangeably, whereas they mean two different things.

Septic tank is the one that is the feces are channeled to, while Soak-away is meant to drain the waste water used to flush the toilet.

If you check older houses, the thanks is normally divided into two with one part built with blocks straight up like walls and plastered. While the other part the blocks are laid on their sides with the holes facing into the tank and the surrounding soil. There is usually a connecting 4" pipe at the top part between the two.

Alternatively, some designs had the two tanks separate side by side with the Septic tank being the bigger.

Picture 1 shows typical way Septic tank wall blocks are laid and it is also plastered.

Picture 2 shows some blocks blocks are laid on the side of a soak-away pit/tank.

BusinessRe: CBN Floats The Naira, The Implications For You And I by agitator:
davide470:
The implication of this could be wide-ranging. However, we can only but conclude that the end of the black market is near as anyone and everyone can now buy dollars at any bank or with authorized dealers at a price that is market determined.

Key highlights of the press briefing.

1. Market moving to single market through interbank via a Reuters / FMDQ order matching system with 10 primary dealers (2 way quote mechanism) and other secondary detailers.

2. Primary dealers will operate the interbank market. CBN may intervene from time to time

3. Proceeds of FDI shall be purchased by authorised dealers at the daily interbank rates

4. Non-oil exporters are allowed unfettered access to export proceeds via the interbank rates

5. 41 items formerly constrained by CBN will still not be eligible for trade on interbank

6. To enhance liquidity, CBN may offer long dated 6 – 12 months forwards to authorised dealers. Forwards must be traded backed with no authorised spreads

7. New product : Now authorized NGN futures on the FMDQ OTC – which will allow non-standardised amounts, no fixed dates or tenors. Will allow businesses to hedge. Futures will be NGN settled.

8. CBN says they have enough liquidity to play in the market (it surpasses pent up demand)

http://nairametrics.com/its-official-cbn-floats-the-naira-the-implications-for-you-and-i/
1. CBN go sell dollars to the banks for market price. In other words cbn to find out wetin aboki dey sell then sell close to that price.

2. Dem go create new set of dealers wey go dey between the CBN and banks.

3. If Hilary Clinton won bring money come start akara business for 9ja, the new set of dealers go buy the dollars from her then sell to banks at the market rate she ready to sell. before she go transfer the money come then bank go give her N199 naira for $1 but when she want to take any money out, banks go sell $1 for N330. (before this 1 na real 419 na-im make oyibo no gree come do business for 9ja) angry angry angry

4. People wey dey export goods like starch, garri, palmwine go fit buy dollar if dem need am for the price wey bank dey buy from each other. before banks dey show how much dem ready to buy dollars and how much dem dey sell, but when bank want to buy from another bank, the bank dey remove small for the other bank so dem fit make small gain too.

5. the 41 items we federal government bin ban still remain ban. Pesin no fit buy dollar for the price CBN or their dealers dey sell to bank to order for these item. but no wahala because the price difference no go much maybe between $2~$5. So this one no get real meaning.

6. You fit pay for dollars then in future collect you dollars for the rate of that day. Example today na 14 Jun and if dem day sell dollar N350 you fit pay for am then for September if dollar dey sell for N450, you go still collect the dollar for N350, this one be like saving you dollars. grin grin grin

Why is it that Nigerian capitalists don't like competative markets? They have been so used to excess profits. Any marketer should be free to sell at their own price but it should not be more than N145 is the directive of federal government. NNPC is government owned, so if they sell lower than N145, it's still part of sacrifices that are meant to be paid to the masses by government.

Well said. If only nigerians will stop hating and see how we all depend on each other for survival. Its a good thing lagos realised this earlier that it has invested billions of naira in rice production from kebbi state. Few years from now, both states will be selling rice to parts of the country thereby increasing their IGR.
That is the way to go. It is time we start getting busy and stop lazying around a mono economy driven by oil alone.
You too have not answered the question of the "well said statement." how much of the tomatoes money is in the N2T plus shared? huh huh huh
PoliticsRe: Federal Allocation In Buhari's 1st Year In Office by agitator: 8:08am On Jun 13, 2016
PassingShot:
Take time to read the report again and see the parameters used in sharing the money.

Again, we must re-orientate ourselves to the fact that there is much more to Nigeria than the oyel.

The importance of what the North contributes to our survival as a nation cannot be over-emphasized. Just by experiencing tomato ebola in the north in just one season, the whole of Nigeria has been suffering to get tomatoes at cheap/reasonable price. Can we imagine what will happen if all the farm produce that comes from there stop coming to the south? We will import? With which money and at what cost?

The earlier we realized that each region has its own relevance, the better for us as a nation to move forward.
How much did the tomatoes contribute to the N2t plus that was shared? Please elaborate on that to convince people aggrieved people. wink wink wink
