MSGAMBLE9:Then what are your people into? Tell me what you people do better outside hawking Agbo, out dated mechanics, and driving Jallopies you call Taxis. Tell me outside lagos, where have you people contributed to the economic viability of that state..Just show me one and collect a 100k it's a bet on you. The speed at which you guys claim the success of lagos make one wonder if there is no other state in the entire south west region..please point out one state just one where yorubas has made a more resounding economic impact to the economic well being of the state and collect a 100k..i bet you none. |
XerXers:Just free them it's all Jelousy and legendary envy |
NoFucksToGive:my brother the thing is terrible..but what is baffling about all is this is that the Yoruba guys I met and so business with don't express this level of hate against we Igbos..i don't know if am wrong please correct me. The yoruba I knew and grew up with are not this cynical and hate filled..The ones in this forum that are obviously not lagosians who die in the hands of fulanis like ants where the very ones who keep on expressing bitter hate against the igbos. The Fulanis have killed countless Obas in to run land, killed countless of there people, kidnap there famous and reverse leaders, kill the daughter of their tribal leader and yet they still find way to love them more than those that has never attempted to take their lives in their own home soil. The fellow even have the temerity of teaming the Igbos disrespectful and term the Fulanis respectful and far living than the Igbos. Whatever charm used against this set if yorubas by the very oppressors that they face everyday is legendary |
Dsalvo:It's ok Fulani.lover..dont come here and cry when dey relocate your grand parents to burkina faso |
Dsalvo:.Hate filed trash as usual..next please |
FreeStuffsNG:So because they refused to vote for your candidate when they have there contesting now translates to hate to you..Then the one that killed your.people.with impunity and drove them.to exile to a foreign land are theones that love respect and cherish you. Your hypocrisy is legendary, like the Jewish nativity that chooses a thief over a righteous man..so shall you continue to live a blood thirsty killer to one that truly lived peacefully with you..May the cup not.pass you buy. |
Owing to some technical delays, Seplat Energy Plc, said it has shifted its schedule of first gas from the $700m ANOH Gas Processing Plant located on (Oil Mining Lease) OML 53 in Imo State to fourth quarter 2023. ANOH is one of Nigeria’s most strategic gas plant earlier scheduled to pump its first gas in the first half of 2023. Seplat, in a statement on its performance in the 2022 financial year, said that ANOH gas processing plant is now 95 per cent mechanically completed, awaiting third-party infrastructure completion. “ANOH first gas guidance moved to fourth quarter 2023 owing to delays in third-party infrastructure,” it stated. Meanwhile, the company said that it will continue to pursue the Presidential approval received on August 8, 2022 for the Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPNU) acquisition with hopes to conclude the transaction within the remaining term of President Muhammadu Buhari before a new president is sworn into office at the end of May 2023. It also stated that the Sibiri appraisal well is indicating results on high side of initial Oil In-Place estimates, adding that Final Investment Decision (FID) is targeted by end 2023. On the financial gains, Seplat recorded a rise in profit before tax by 15.3 per cent to N86.7b from N71b year-on-year. The company also generated cash from its operations to the tune of N242.4b from N150.9b year-on-year, rising by 51.6 per cent. The energy company also grew its revenue by 29.8 per cent to N403.9b from N293.6b year-on-year; as its gross profit soars to N197.2b from N114.2b year-on-year, rising by 63 per cent. Commenting on the results, Chief Executive Officer, Seplat Energy Plc, Roger Brown, said: “I am delighted that our strong financial performance will enable the payment of a US7.5 cent final dividend, despite the significantly disrupted production we experienced in the second half of the year. The full-year dividend of US15 cents represents a dividend yield of around 11 per cent at the current LSE share price. “As we enter 2023, the business is in a very healthy state, with new wells coming onstream, encouraging appraisal drilling underway at Sibiri, and alternative export routes ensuring good export performance in January and February this year. “Our gas business continues to develop, with first gas expected from ANOH in Q4 this year, and we are now in the process of separating our Midstream Gas business from the Upstream unit to unlock new value for shareholders. “We are implementing our roadmap to net zero and have made encouraging progress with a 35 per cent reduction in emission intensity last year. The major reduction in carbon emissions is routine flaring which we are on target to eliminate by the end of 2024. “Alongside these efforts, and as part of our stated strategy to become Nigeria’s energy champion across the entire value chain, we are planning to invest in gas-to-power and solar power projects with FID targeted for later this year if the projected returns meet our internal hurdle rates. “We are confident in our outlook for 2023, with the new Amukpe-Escravos Pipeline working well, our drilling cost reductions and efficiencies being delivered, and ANOH’s first gas expected in Q4 once third party infrastructure is completed, our business is on a firm footing to facilitate significant growth and higher returns for stakeholders,” he stated. https://guardian.ng/business-services/seplat-shifts-schedule-of-first-gas-from-700m-anoh-plant/
Ok we move |
investnow2013:My brother atimes it's not worth it replhing kids on this forum..most of the so called noaie makers here are born less than 25 years ago. It was in my presence that the igbos developed trade fair that was originally swamp land..Apart from the lagos chamber of commerce building there for lagos trade far that was usually busy every November when they have the yearly lagos trade fair addendum. That location was converted to what it is today in 1995, when Ojukwu came to commission the complex in my before...The same goes to Alaba into, which was just a swamp and nothing shirt of a slum within the same time. The lagos govt did not do jack in that neighbourhood but that's not my issue for now..lets just replicate and all this insult will stop once and for all. |
investnow2013:Yes I support you on this cos the population of Imo, Anambara and Abia by far surpassed that of lagos. This will make our businesses more viable in the area of patronage as our people are known for spending real money for commodities. Again, the other folks across the Nija will want go respond with publishing taxes and levies just to mitigate their loses associated with the planned relocation but no issues cos the cost will be pushed back to their citizens too who will and must end up buying this products as one thing is for sure, they can never get used to or competitor with.the Ugbos in this trades if they doubt let them try, am living witness. The Igbo controlled businesses are ran like a cartel both local and foreign any doubting Thomas can try and see the outcome..so the long and short story is that anyone who wants to buy electronics or vehicle parts should be ready to travel down east or pay for waybils..If we go along with this, in the next five or six years we go know how far. |
totit:If you want them to leave then support the Biafran agitation by calling the Nigerian state to allow the Biafran nation to go..by then you can have your beloved Lagos to yourself. |
totit:I laugh at those replying and telling Igbos gooduvk to relocate back to the east. Most of you doing this I now believe where kids born before 1993...so make well by asking your fathers how it was in lagos then. The Igbos might not be good in politics but you all will surely feel the heat when they leave and replicate this businesses from lagos. Ask Keankwaso when.he was the governor in 2006 in the last Kano riot when Ignos shut down their businesses in Kano and relocated back home with their families, I mean partial relocation oo they didn't move their businesses but just shut down and Kwankwaso has to run down to Anambara to have a word with the then Governor Peter Obi and the he promised that such will never happen again till date...so lets learn yo leave as one and respect ourselves. Anyone has the right to support whoever he chooses in an election for its not a declaration of war rather a thing of democratic choice..Afterall, Hausas in the east voted for Atiku and your people, voted Tinubu no one is killing them. |
arejibadz:OP I have been here before and that was the very day I cursed our leaders..This is thinly area in the word that boost of the only natural wildlife park in the world..if you notice as your drive by you will see some.packs of animals passing by and doing there things. This place ordinarily will fetch us money and jobs but our leaders are too daft to realize this..truly, Taraba is not called Natures beauty for nothing. |
ratifency:Firstly, am speaking as an Igboid son and I want to say this to all..Since Ekweradu is facing this ordeal, how may Igno prominent men has risen to speak for the clemency of the man? No agoan is the answer. It took a yorubs man and now and Hausa man to do just that while our Igno brothers are there cowering in the bath waters. You me I only have one interpretation to this, that we are one as a people and that is what is engraved in the deepest part of our individual hearts ask (//HELLINUES THE ADDENT MAKE BELIEVE HATER OF THE IGBOS). THE BIG QUESTION NOW IS, WHY ARE WE NOT EXPRESSING THIS LOVE FOR THE GOOD OF ALL? HOW LONG WIL IT TAKE US TO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS HATE RHETORICS IS DRAGGING US BACK?/ Am happy must of us travel da and wide and see how other countries work and see now the citizens collectively speak our againstnevi for the betterment of their society. I use to be a sentimental person but I came to a full realization on the very day I was in Owerri and saw how the Igbos there gathered together to defend the interest of an Hausa wheel barrow pusher whos right was troled upon by an Igno bus driver and my mindset changed as I realised that the problem of this country is not actually the commoners but the elites and some.of us here who are used as willing tools to.propagate there hste filled ideology. |
Pleases house I will love someone in the know to educate me on the actual reason behind the Nestle foods Nestcareers. What's it all about? And what are it's benefit if it's ok? |
I was discussing with my dad over the issues happening in the middle belt and the old man simply said,"NIGERIA IS UNGRATEFUL", and I asked, dad, why did you say that? he replied," If you see the number of middle belt youths that died keeping Nigeria one, you will curse all those troubling their children today". My dad was a veteran of the civil war, though as an Igbo, he fought on the Biafran side as expected, he for once never believed that the middle belt will for one day be treated this way after the so much sacrifice they made for this country. Now, am writing this piece with apologies to other ethnic nationality who have also contributed to the success of Nigeria on one way or the other..But am getting to point out that the middle belt has suffered unjustly with treatment that is not commensurate to their contributions to this State called Nigeria. The few appointments they enjoyed over the years can not be measured to what they deserved compared to what other Sally's have enjoyed in the present day Nigeria and yet, they did not complain...All they ask for is just peace..Then I ask, is it too much to ask? No nation succeeds with such an amount of impunity and gross injustice, I bleed and weep for the middle belt as a patriotic Nigerian and I urged al irrespective of tribe or political affiliation to at least stand for what is right and say enough of the killings in the middle belt under whatever guise..lets not pretend that all.is welll because we are not feeling the heat now.lets lend our voices to comdeme evil and aways speak in solidarity with this people as Nigerians. GOD BLESS US ALL LONG LIVE OUR COUNTRT NIGERIA. |
danvon:Only idiots take Reno serious..A man on exile for his various misdeminours against those in power is now home sick looking for a means to book a ticket with home with an assurance of not lodging with the D.S.S. What else could explain his occasional verbal summersults and confused dispositions towards issues in the land..my dear like I said, only idiots follow Reno. |

THe APC party chairman for Imo State was seen driving around the Owerri Metropolis arreeting the PDP and Labour party agents on at major polling units in the municipality. He picked up two agents of the PDP at the Mann street boot of the Ikenegbu ward one and subsequently did same on other boots. While another agent of the APC governor, the S.A to the governor on special duties and his thugs attckwf and injured the PDP agent who was reportedly stabbed with broken bottles and being hospitalised at the Federal.medical center as we speak. Every other party agents have been chased out of the polling unit as voters are being threatened to vote for APC or go home...The commissioner of Police is hereby notified along side other security agents to as a matter of urgency look into the excesses of the APC in Imo state. |
igbotormentor:You people are just pathetic. In the last two elections, the Igbos voted agsinst pmb and you lots ended up calling igbos names at the end it turned out the igbos were right in their judgement which you. Demons till date have refused to appologise to us for yiur short sitedness. Today, the Igbos are supoorting their own and the north are dealing with you from there own stand point but its only convinient for you to blame the igbos as usual for your poor sense of judgement and pathological greed as a people. But be rest assured that your threst against the igbos only exist online, dance carelsessly against any igbo nigga out there you go collect.. You yorubas can take thst to the bank.. Rubbish. |
Pakute:My friend shut that your cowardly mouth.. We all know how you lots are desoeratkey trying to tag IPOB bad just for clamouring for their own state..You will never type this thrash when Fulsnis are busy killing people like insects in the middle belt. You will rather call it Bandit attack than call it a terror attack..you will always be scared to death to mention the name Fulani but will find it easy to open your mouth to talk trash about IPOB in the name of defending your useless country that never care about your life. |
Icart:God will surely furnish anyone who will link this wickedness carried out by the Supreme Court governor and APC on IPOB. |
phoneport:Trust the forthcoming news flash in weeks to come... THE NIGERIAN POLICE HAS ARRESTED ON EMEKA OBIORA THE IPOB COMMANDER IN IMO STATE WHO HAS CONFESSED TO THE CRIME OF THE SSSASINSTION ATTEMPT ON EX GOVERNOR OHAKIM...TVC NEWS. |
MERCHANDISER:That is what you will say cos you are not of that generation. A time will come even Messis football achiwvwmwt will be likened for table soccer compare to what future foot ball will look like. But no matter how you see it, you can not take it away from Pele for him.to be named the footballer of the century is not just for the fun of it. No player has ever beaten that record of winning the world cup thrice..wvwn your Messi struggled to win just one. Let's learn to give honour to whom.it is due. |
OsunOriginal:I laugh at the likes of you that are under the erroneous insinuation that Obi is struggling for support in the East. The Kanu debacle should have taught you people a lesson on the mentality of the Igbos..The Igbos are the easiest people to lead and get their fanatical support only if you just say the truth. Obi is the only politician from the east that has done that in recent time.. So if you think that one useless slowpoke will influence our vote against on then you are still living in Mars. No leader I repeat no Governor can influence any outcome. Even the so called G5 governors lead by the fool called Wike..Am in Rivers trust me, we go shock am..except say no be BIVAS again. |
ebukajay184:Regards the issue of marriage and divorce. All I have to say is that this is more psychological and sometimes even spiritual than what you can understand normally. The psychological aspect is the failure of some guys to read in-between the lines and understand the trend at which ladies operate and the background your lady is coming from and co-relating to what you want as a person. Not every woman is meant for marriage either by design or default. If you are mature and sane enough you will notice it as you guys play along except if you are naturally daft or carried away by her knacking skills. Some guys again fail to understand that there are classes of ladies.know this and know peace. Mingle with your class or slightly below your class and don't make any mistake in marrying a woman that you love more than she loves you. Again, don't flaunt wealth around a lady as an arbiter to win her love. You will never tell the degree of love and don't marry a highly materialistic lady when you know you are not from a rich home. Make sure you study her family background before you go into marriage, and check the kind of relationship the parents enjoy amongst themselves again if you are the highly moral type be very observant before you marry a lady whose mum died earlier in life and ended up in the hands of guidance cos her orientation must be very different either a good one or the bad. As for you, follow this simple tips- Treat your woman with respect. Cherish her as your own. Give her all the attention in the world. Tell her the truth always except in some special occasions. Pet her always and learn to pacify her. Buy her gift. Take her out. Don't cheat on her. Cos it's better you marry a woman that you love than marry for a reason and cheat. Make her opinion count. Make her feel important Always seek advise from her and end up making your decision as the man. Knack her wella. With this few tips you see them loving you like an idiot cos women are better lovers than we guys. A woman's love never dies except you give her a reason to kill the love. Merry Christmas. |
ebukajay184:What I have to say in this context is that we as a people have lost our most prized possession and that is our values. I will not equate my argument with the subjects in this topic cos it's normal that celebrities all over the globe are none for being fake in their dealings. But I speak from the general contextual terms surrounding this institution called marriage as it was handed over by our fore fathers. A guy made mention of our cultural approach to marriage and some folks are busy saying thrash against his submission. The truth of the matter is that we have embraced the very negative side of westernization and forgotten to hold the positive side. Every Nigerian lady after watching Netflix wants to behave like the whites, and our dear Nollywood is not helping matters as they tend to script movies that do not portray our very values and some dumb skulls will take it to heart like, it's the way to go. In those days, Divorce is Taboo in Igbo land as it is very difficult to send a woman parking out of her husband's house without the consent of the family. You don't even have the right to maltreat a woman when the parents and siblings are still alive, talk more of beating her for they are consequences for this actions. But this day, we all want to be more English than the British Man. Even Christianity frowns at divorce so this ugly trend sweeping our society today is a result of a general breakdown of moral associated with copying what we are not smart enough to understand. Very soon we will drift towards not taking care of our aged parents in the coming future cos that is what we are seeing in foreign movies or copied from the whites as a result of travelling overseas.. We should stick to what works for us and jettison that which was originally made for the whites cos no matter how hard we try, we can nevwr be like the whites..Atleast our bad leaders will remind you where you are when the chips are down. |
