This should be a lesson to the rest of us. THE PERSON WEY DEY DO YOU, FIT BE YOUR NEIGHBOR. I'm not saying we should be hostile or paranoid, but apply wisdom with how you relate to people. |
Wow!!! This is Ibadan. This is a mega city with beautiful scenery and green landscape. Ibadan is underhyped. If only resources were properly utilized. Wow! Some pictures actually have me smiling. This is not the "brown roof republic". Wow! I will visit there before the end of the year. It's nice to see other parts of Nigeria are reaching development small small, not only Lagos and Abuja. I don't know why this would make anyone unhappy. I thought development is meant to bring joy and delight. Wether or not it's federal government or state it's great. I hope they do more and continue, consistency is key. More and more till it reaches the sky. I'm so happy. Weldon islandlady. |
RIP. |
Asgard73:Elon Musk Should Learn From Nairaland When It Comes To Freedom Of Speech. It's Only Nairaland That Reetards Like This Have Freedom Without Repercussions. Seun >>>>>>> |
I fail to see the correlation between what he typed and what you people are reporting as news. Are you people dummmb? |
The Same Elon Musk That Gave 6 Billion Dollars To Charity. Guess What? They Still Attacked Him, That He Gave Only A Tiny Faction Of His Wealth. That Bill Gates Has Donated Elon Musk's Net worth To Charity. That This That..... Lasss Lasss! You Can't Please Human Beings. I Still Say It, That If You End World Hunger Today People Will Still Drag You. If They Can Drag Bill Gates Who Donated Billions To Fight Malaria In Africa, WHO BE YOU? |
i need intellectually sound nairalanders to explain to me how and why lost N546.5 billion in 222 days due to the twitter ban. How was that figure reached? was it calculated based on the amount of data twitter users in Nigeria consume or was it the telecom providers or was it factored based on the business people do on Twitter and they couldn't anymore? saying we had 1 billion dollars in economic losses due to twitter ban is very unbelievable. |
Dshocker: see embarrassment. When you don't know something keep quiet. Avoid the temptation to spew ignorance all over the place. Go and read about 'debt financing' so that you won't keep on making such ignorant statements. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/d/debtfinancing.asp A company currently trading at N285 per share with a market cap of 4 trillion employing over 30,000 people is nothing to write home about. Please tell us what you've done with your life that is worth writing home about. If you don't know something keep quiet. |
thebosstrevor1: the power of fake news. |
GooodHardDick:Lol. So they should not post pictures of places in Nigeria? Because othe places look better. This is like saying you should not have an erection because other men have bigger dicks. |
Lol. On this kinds of post you will not see pictures of the ghetto and slum areas. Inside that gwarimpa, it was till I saw it with my own two eyes before I knew that somewhere so beautiful and high-class can still have an area that hasn't been over taken by the big mansion and beautifully painted residences. |
It's not possible. Because! All nigerian companies operate in naira. They make profit in naira, pay salaries in naira and do everything in naira. Naira to dollars is 0.0024 40 billion dollars is 16,619,200,000,000.00 (16 trillion) No Nigerian company is worth above 4 -5 trillion naira. The American stock market is the largest in the world. It's 4-5 times the size of Nigerian stock exchange. The US stock exchange is about 30 TRILLION DOLLARS large. Nigerian stock exchange is 56 billion dollars, meaning all listed Nigerian companies combined are worth only 56 billion dollars only. 40 billion dollars can buy 90% of all the companies listed on the Nigerian stock exchange. Over 300 million people use twitter daily, Which nigerian company has 300 million customers? Twitter has a Revenue of $3.7 B Which nigerian company can boast of a revenue of 100 million dollars? Not even dangote. I hope with this submission I have been able to convince you and not confuse you that there is no Nigerian company worth that much money IN DOLLARS. |
So he still has a job. |
I want to live up to age 122 but I don't want to look like that. Can I be 122 and look like this. https://i.pinimg.com/736x/29/e3/45/29e345e38ba9d96f77e88c135a9be9a0--writing-characters-old-men.jpg |
treesun: Malory:This people dont even want tinubu to near APC primaries. Infact what will make them happy now is for him to declare his disinterest in the presidential race totally now now. mbok!!! WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE AFRAID OF?
|
Bring your friends close, bring your enemies closer. |
Murphyenemuwe: . No more Biafra now na "Igbo presidency". Inside this "shithole" ![]() |
. LOL. . Afenifere doesn't speak for me. Middle belt what ever doesn't speak for me. PANDEF doesn't speak for me. But it's important they position like this, so that when the reality occurs they can say "we tried" "we supported Igbo presidency" Wondering why they didn't support Biafra? Or "self actualization" or restructuring or return to regionalism? |
Oga, you're a homosexual!!! |
One thing about guilty people is how they suspect everyone. Suspicion always haunts the guilty mind. - Shakespeare. |
slimfit1:what I love to see. Actual understanding not senseless ranting and positioning that has no impact. |
Malory:this your tears go dey very salty ooh! See person wey no dey "dumb". |
Malory: if you think this is dumb, it just shows how unfortunately ignorant you are about Nigerian politics. The "dumb" man is securing votes the wise man is on Nairaland crying. |
you are still in Europe sir. Once you enter sub-saharan Africa you've officially entered the real Africa. The 3rd world, the republics of black underachievement. Welcome home.
|
Levinas:You are right. You can't find some of these nonsense in any Northern state. |
Invitationn: your bigot pass my bigot. They have reserved the sole responsibility to determine who is a bigot and a hypocrite. The rest of us just have to look least we become ourselves bigots. |
Grandmeister:It irked me. Imagine me arguing who are the bigger hypocrites. Between the ones who spent the past 8 years pulling down Nigeria and insulting every one, Inventing newer ways to drag and denigrate others but now want to hoist a president on the rest, Or the ones who spent the past 8 years with the understanding that in 2023 there will be need to build bridges and cooperate with the same people you're cursing. The same reason why Sunday igboho, Adekunle Grandson, Oba of Lagos, were met with immediate repugnance. |
chatinent:Lagos na Confam shit hole with small fine fine places. |
Someone needs to deal with all this Lagos People. They need strong hand. Reason why I fear a Lagos Presidency, it's just another avenue that will empower the Lagos elites. Some body needs to show that mafia that they have a max. And they've reached and surpassed it. Something is wrong with their brains. |
Grandmeister:Stop lying, Igbos are beyond reproach in this Nigeria. Yorubas don't like hate. They are genuine and understanding people who accept everyone and anyone. Their home is your home. Welcoming and evolved. You however can't come to Yoruba land and be flexing muscles there is a limit. And like all others yorubas are outspoken, exposed and unlimited in what we can do be it positive or negative. They have a penchant to be very good at anything. But I swear to God yorubas will not keep quiet or hold their mouth just so as to please anyone. You people can't shut them up. Call them whatever, They will not step aside especially for a fruitless effort as putting peter Obi in Aso Villa. If Obi can't measure up it's not their fault. |
GloriousGbola:Damn! FACTOS. What we are seeing now is a useless attempt by igbos especially on social media platforms to white wash the past 8 years of slander, insult and hatered directed towards people of other ethnicities, because they want Peter Obi to become president. Wow! |
Invitationn:This is like telling a dog not to bark or telling a rat not to scavenge. It's second nature. Everyone is guilty except them. Infact after the blessed virgin Mary it's them. Disagree and become a bigot and Igbo hater. |

This is what happens when you haven't been out of Nigeria before. Nigeria cannot be compared to Accra Ghana, let alone any city in South Africa.
