mikuz: 1.How can the blood of a person's fleshy wife displace river Nile?I was even refering to DJ Khalid not Dj 5naira coz i dont know him. I never knew another unknown Dj was also crippled on nairaland. OMG. |

Ravenwolf: Street Rat talking..... what the Bleep is street music gonna do to calm me down after a hard day, or you wanna compare this trashy music to something done by Asha or Keziah Jones etc?You gat a point there. At least you can bump it on weekends and not everybody gat hard days all the time like you. |
just imagine this
My brother, it's just a lesson that dont be distracted by the crowd in the market just do what you wanna do. |
I am not a fare weather kind of guy, be it in music or otherwise. You might wanna refer back to oliver twist thread. The only aspect of it I didn't like was the video. And I still stand by it. This latest noice chances of blowing will only be based on D'banj's popularity and past glory. Music sells that way too.
My guy forget that popularity ish, even on first time i did n't like Oliver twist but later grew on me. I listened once to this song and fell for it. This was one of several comments on oliver twist when first released : chuks · 84 weeks ago All of you shouting that people are hating must be tone deaf!!! All your attempts to defend this organized noise is just laughable, someone even went as far as to say the lyrics are deep. haba! D'banj is supposed to have gone international na. This is way below par. im don fall 9ja hand. Did nt the same Oliver twist got him international? I went to turkey last year and was amazed at the airplays. Was it his popularity before oliver twist that sells him there? |
kelvinlink: A year from Now.....i will come back to this thread to remind you all......."This particular track....Don't tell me nonsense.....will be a monster street anthem..! Admit it.....this kind of track sells in Nigeria. (where everyone gat one imaginary enemy...Lol)Dont mind them. Below was one of many comments that rubbished Oliver twist song when first released on notjustok.com : Medo · 83 weeks ago I am sorry to say.. this song is totally nonsense..y'all shud stop deceiving him ok. This is not acceptable at all..you r more better than this,do something else ok. .I'm done |
As much as Fally tried to redeem the song with his ever eccentric voice, the song failed utterly. The song was all over the place. D'banj, I like you but you need to go back to drawing board and pick out what works for you. I still don't believe that Don-J must be at the board with you for you to make a good music again.
Peeps like you said worse things about Oliver twist when first released, only to blow globally in your damn faces. |
Wow, Dbanj dey vex. |
Rap maestro: Make una no hold me abeg... The only prob here is the presence of judges, well, we've got illscript, sleak, mikus, Dj5Naira and Ojoawo as the judge 4 any brawl here{4 now}.. I don't want one mo'f**king Ib|MeI don miss o. Wetin dey happen maestro? |

onatisi: @afam . pls kindly tell me one reason you think dbanj is not having it they way he has planned ?just askingAbi o. Make him answer. Dbanj sang Top of the world song at the closing ceremony of AFCON 2013, may be he thought its a small feat or it was Don jazzy that produced it too. Yeye mod. |

How could a stranger gain access to your room like that while fast asleep and she was so confident to snap the pic? Especially when you are a star. Davido, davido we know as e dey go. |
Afam4eva: So, are you saying that Asa is an A-list artiste in France? can you back this up?Whether a-list or e-list i dont care. The fact that you also confirmed she lives in Paris, where she was nominated as 2011 French Music Awards Victoires de la Musique for 'Female Artist of the Year', i have got what i wanted. Let's stay on the topic. |
Afam4eva: Asa lives in paris, France but Nigeria made her who she is. She made bulk of her money in Nigeria. It's not like she's an A-list artiste over there. What's this supposed to prove?Even Asa would laugh at your ignorance. Besides, same would be said when Dbanj makes it big abroad i.e Nigeria made him who he is. So watch as things unfold for Dbanj. |
Afam4eva: There's nothing wrong in a NIgerian investing in Alska or the greenlands. That's not the point here. Have Psquare, Wizzkid, Sound sultan and other Nigerian artistes not done collabos with American artistes? Did they have to leave their life in Nigeria to go and pseudo-permanently base in America or anywhere else? Anyone can achieve whatever he wants from Nigeria. Despite the fact that Dangote has investments all over the globe, he's still based in Nigeria and conducts most of his business from Nigeria. Unlike D'Banj who wants to move permanently to the US and roll with the likes of Kanye and Big Sean.Your arguements reek of illogicality. Let me ask you, where does ASA have most of her shows Nigeria or Abroad? Where does ASA,reside? |
Afam4eva: That's where you're getting it all wrong. No one is saying that Dangote does not have investments in other parts of Africa. Even though the investments in those countries are minimal when compared to those in Nigeria, how exactly does it correlate with D'Baj leaving NIgeria for the US? Did Dangote move outside the shores of Africa? Are most of his businesses not in Africa? Is D'Banj not known round Africa? What exactly is your point?Did you see the last few lines of my previous post? He plans to invest in Iraq, brazil, chile etc. Dangote plans to make it global just like what Dbanj is doing. Has Dbanj told you he would nt be doing shows again in Nigeria or Africa? Just wish him well, he would face challenges but believe he could still make it. MTN took the risk years back to invest in Nigeria, while others could nt dare, now they are better off. |
If FG gives the ibos ammunitions, they will still sell to the northerners. FG please don't give them. |
eriegua83: You should be the one to google coz your myopic statement is not in the google we know. My friend pls which google? He asked u guys to try google, u could nt because of ur lazy azz: The Dangote Group, originally a small trading firm founded in 1977, is now a multi-trillion naira conglomerate with operations in Benin, Ghana, Nigeria, and Togo. Africa’s not big enough for Aliko Dangote, Nigeria’s richest man. Dangote is planning to take Dangote Cement, his flagship company, into the rest of the world – starting with Iraq and Myanmar, where plant construction could begin next year. After that, Indonesia, Brazil and Chile are all on the list, with Dangote planning to reach 60m tonnes of annual production outside Africa, on top of 40m within the continent – and so achieve a target of 100m tonnes of annual output “in the next five years”. |
This is Sir Alex Ferguson during his soccer playing days. To me in this picture, he resembles current Polish striker, Lewandoski and also a bit like Liverpool skipper Stephen Gerrard.
