dirtymoney:Looooolz! Enjoying all the confusing permutations here. Funny thing is you will just get an email informing you if u were successful or not. No single breakdown of your performance in each of the tests. But seriously I'm enjoying the thread bursting to life albeit temporarily. |
gwason:So that you don't write the questions on the papers and smuggle them out for other candidates |
gwason:Never. Not at this stage. Computer Based Testing is pure on answers provided |
Each topic evaluated has a vast number of questions in the question bank. So yes no two candidates can get the same exact set of questions. |
nams77:Na DBS I watch o! By the time the thing metamorphose into DRTV mehn don leave Waf |
Veetee:U sef wey don know Timi since DBS u na youngie! I sure say u go know Ukodo and Madam Chopper. Maybe even Gbejeroh and Odioko ![]() |
Olaoke16:I have repeatedly said that Calculators will be provided |
shegzy4luv: walexyboy:SMH at both of you! ![]() |
softrise:Why u haven't visited that link and done the practice test beats me. If you didn't need it NLNG won't have sent it to you And to be honest, I don't expect anyone to come here and start spilling what he/she saw at the screening. Remember that you are all in competition and that they will be giving you an advantage over themselves if they come and tell you what to expect |
walexyboy:Does it require calculator Most likely. Calculators will be provided if required Do we all have hope of being recruited Certainly not all applicants will be recruited. But let me reassure you that the very best of you will be recruited. This is a very open process and there is no such thing as man-know-man. Only the best get recruited. And no, they haven't picked any candidates prior |
Afritop:With the right know how yes. In fact I know someone is is working on using Lithium ion/polymer batteries to build very portable Inverters for homes. Initial results have been very promising. Imagine carrying your small inverter to the office, charging it full and when u get home u can have sufficient energy to power your basics like TV, lights, fans, even refrigerator all night. No fuel bill, no noise pollution. |
wristbangle:From what I hear, they are using an Android box most likely running Kodi. So I'm wandering how they will be able to outperform DSTV that also streams via satellite |
Gtuns:Have u sought and obtained the written consent of the 100k people whose contact u want to so cheaply sell? Where's your ethics and morals? |
wristbangle:I hope u know there are places in Nigeria where there's no telecoms coverage but DSTV is still there? The infrastructure to cover the entire nation using telecoms is considerably more prohibitive than satellite |
wristbangle:U really think TSTV will match DSTV? TSTV cant have presence in my remote village o. Nigeria is far bigger than Lagos or Abuja where their data will work ó. |
Your assertions that all unbranded powerbanks are substandard (fake as u call it) is a fallacy of generalisation. There are people who assemble powerbanks using high quality Samsung or LG cells and don't brand them. The best way to determine the quality of a powerbank is to assess the cells not all this |
ukeme200:Share the contents of your SMS here |
OK lemme clarify some misconceptions 1) I am NOT reselling off materials that I have. You guys can go and purchase them directly independent of me (I'd prefer this really). I am only trying to facilitate it cos for some reason you would trust me than yourselves. If you feel better liasing directly with yourselves by all means be my guest. 2) The assessmentday materials are not leaked versions (expo) of the live SHL questions. They are similar to what you will encounter in the SHL test and server as good Preperatory material. |
So to simplify the whole process of indicating interest I have created a Telegram group. Email me on mynairalandmoniker@gmail.com to indicate interest and I will add tell you how to join the group. (Replace mynairalandmoniker with my actual moniker) Again I'm not out to scam anyone (check my posts on Nairaland to validate my reputation). I am sticking with Telegram for anonymity |
jobeehichoya:That's three of you interested now. So we are looking for 14 people. The earlier you guys can get the materials the better so u can dive into preparing. Modified: Those who have so far indicated interest jobeehichoya mainstreets jamrid |
Drnice:The test will last that long |
mainstreets:Telegram gives me a level of anonymity that I'd rather preserve. WhatsApp will require me to share my personal phone number with people I do not know. |
Okay so I see you all are foot dragging on rallying yourselves together to purchase the materials on assessmentday.co.uk. I have absolutely no benefit in this and I expect some people to be sceptical that I am out to scam them. For those who believe no proof if necessary, for those who don't no proof is believable. So I won't bother cajoling. Straight to the point, the assessmentday materials I am recommending can be found here https://www.assessmentday.co.uk/buy/en/aptitudetest_buy.htm They are being sold for £35 for the entire package. At approx N16, 100 that may be a bit off putting for a lot of u. So what I suggest is that 17 people contribute N1000 each to a central pot, then the PDF material can be purchased and shared amongst the 17 of you. Again I have no benefit in this and I am only in this because in my time I wish it had been done. If interested please indicate before 10pm tonight so that I can collate the names and add you to a Telegram group I plan to create so that I can be of some help |
EFGH:Hmmm. I don't know o. And can't say |
snowwhyte607:It should be fine. They can verify your degree certificate from your school when the need arises. |
gwason:This should be helpful. https://www.shl.hu/en/tests-tools/ability-tests/test-battery/technical-test-battery-ttb-for-operators-and-foremen It outlines the combination of tests SHL offers for Operators. Also the sample test in your email is very indicative of what you would seat for |
Jhamzy:I don't expect the next stage to be any form of test. With the one I'm conversant with, a kind of interview (called an Assessment Centre) followed the SHL. BUT the SHL was preceeded by a test so I cannot really say now for u guys |
passiondoh01:Use dem to sharpen your skill. Try out the questions in an exam situation. Mark yourself using the solutions and understand how the solutions where gotten. If you find you are doing very long steps to solve any question then you should stop. Read the solution and see how they have cut out really long steps. Don't forget to look at data checking as well as mechanical reasoning. Very important for you potential technicians. Also don't overlook Verbal reasoning. I found them very tricky. Wish you all the very best. And like they say if u get this job just know that you life will be changed forever |
dollytino4real:Only some one from Warri will know what Okere high college means |
softrise:Very advisable! It will get you acquainted with the SHL interface and all that. But from my experience to excel at these exams you have to have several practice. When I sat for their SHL, I used materials from assessmentday.co.uk and simulated exam conditions. Use a very basic calculator and preferably not the one on your phone. Also be alert for the mechanical reasoning and data checking bits. These have a knack of taking people of guard |
Drnice:For Temporary NIMC, this should be valid. Temporary here refers to the one u get some weeks after u capture. The one that includes your NIN not the one issued immediately you capture. The one issued with NIN has the NIMC logo on the reverse side in green. |
