Telegram is big. That you don't know of it doesn't stop it from being big. A good example is Weibo VS Twitter. I'm sure you have never (and probably will never) used Weibo. But it is huge in its target market. In South Korea Kakao Talk is bigger than WhatsApp. Remember WhatsApp was nothing next to BBM like 6*years ago. And yes a layman can use Telegram. Marginal difference between it and WhatsApp from a User Interface perspective.

Very doable. Might be over kill if all you need is a POS/Check out for a retail shop. What are looking to accomplish though? There's other possible solutions that might just be sufficient

This exam was written three years ago and my memory has failed me a bit. I've gone through notes I made at the time and it turns out that we were allowed to use a very basic calculator (provided during the exam). I hope this clarifies the issue of the use of calculators

That's possible but I don't think NLNG would just keep over 60 persons on waitlist, with the hope that some persons from about 80 would reject.

With NLNG, nothing is certain these days, so the waitlisted should just keep faith, hope, pray and be expectant that something good will come pretty soon.
