Thank you
I will do just that.
Scott99tish:
The school advised you rightly.
Nothing else to say.

They gave you the best advise; Travel before the validity end (Beginning of August 2022), travel with your old LOA and New LOA to explain at POE.

What you have now is not your Permit, Your Original study permit would be issues at POE and that’s when it will start counting.
T
Regards.

I received my stamped passport today, God will make everyone on this platform feel this joy that comes with approval, IJN. Amen.
On the other hand I actually have an issue and I would really appreciate any suggestion or insight that can be useful to me. So I applied with my winter 2022 admission letter for my 2nd application which was successful but the school deferred the admission to September 2022 because I notified them of the first refusal and the LOA for September 2022 didn’t come out before my visa was approved, so I wasn’t able to upload it . My course is a one year course and the validity of my letter of introduction ends August 20th 2022 and school starts September 2022, when I notified the school they said I should travel before the validity ends and carry the old and new LOA so I can explain at the POE so that the permit can be extended.
Any other insights please?

I think it’s about 9400, you can check VFS website for the exact amount

thank you ,i did not do my biometrics in Abuja i just want it to comeback fast that's why i was asking of the exact transmission fee.

please i want to send my passport to Abuja for stamping i don't know the exact transmission fee and is the fee different from the dhl fee payment .please someone should help out
okay so I sent mine this morning, if you did your biometrics in Abuja and you want to send it there for stamping then you don’t need to pay for VFS transmission fee. You will need to pay for DHL to and fro courier services tho(I paid 16200 from Benin to Abuja)
In side an envelope you will put your original passport request letter, your passport, VFS consent form, two photocopies of the data page of your passport, your biometrics slips that’s you were given the day you did your biometrics and then you write the address of Abuja VFS on it. You can find the address of Abuja VFS here

First of all you should come up wi the a course you want to study, it can be in relation to the course you studied at the BSC level already or your work experience then check out schools in Canada that offer the course and check their requirements and the tuition that are affordable to you. You can just use this weekend to do the research

Beautiful people please give me tips on how to secure admission in affordable school in Canada.
It's my first time and I'm confused.

I need help

I'm willing to pay a fee

Thanks as I await a response from a beautiful soul

Where do you stay ?
Cloudweb:
If you did your Biometrics in Abj and you want to send your passport to VFS in Abuja.... you will only have to pay DHL 2way(to and fro) fee which should not exceed 4k. In my own case i paid 4k only in 7days my stamped passport was brought to my location. So yours shouldn't exceed that since is still going same state.

Your naija sponsor can register his business now , I don’t think it matters
mancinho:
Good evening house,

Please someone should advise on the way forward as I await my admission for Sept 2022.

Planned to use a USA based sponsor (Sister). Is this a red or green flag?

Also have a Nija sponsor (brother) who is a businessman but the business is not registered.

Graduated in 2018 and worked in a company for a year (With appointment letter, confirmation of employment). Currently a freelancer and have about N4M in savings.

How best could I package my application?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Aissy: 8:53pm On Dec 10, 2021
I know say I don ask plenty questions
Please oh you people should bear with me
Please since I did my biometrics in Abuja and I want to still send it to the VSF there, do I need to pay the two way courier charge?
Because the DHL Staffs I met today said it’s 8100 to take it to Abuja and 8100 to bring it back directly to my house, which is a total of 16200.
So I was quite surprised because I didn’t know people pay that much for courier fees
So I just want to make sure I do the right thing the right way

Andytheo:
1. The consent form is a form you were asked to fill when you did your biometrics at VFS Abuja. You need to attach the long slip as well.

2. You can pay the transmission fee when you get to the courier office. Your agent is wrong. You shouldn't travel to Abuja. Just go to DHL or UPS office in Benin, they do all the delivery.

3. About the transmission fee, I just confirmed, I paid DHL #13,800 to send my documents from Port Harcourt.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Aissy: 1:23pm On Dec 10, 2021
Please who has sent their passport to VFS recently?
Please what is the exact fee and how do I pay it oh
Because I am hearing different things
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Aissy: 1:22pm On Dec 10, 2021
Please I have some questions I want to send my passport on Monday
1. Which is the consent form? Because everything for my biometric is those long slips of paper, appointment letter and the scanned data page of my passport that was stamped that day.
2. How do I pay for the transmission fee? Plus the agent I used now is telling me it’s 16,800 and that I have to travel to Abuja to do it
3. Biko please I really need answers
Andytheo:
Congratulations @Aissy.

Indeed, it has ended in praise.

To send your passport to Abuja, you'll need to use a courier service (DHL or UPS).

Attach your Passport, Passport request letter, 2 photocopies of your passport bio-data page, biometrics slip, consent letter you got during biometrics, pay for the courier (DHL two-way service is around #9,400). You won't need to pay money to VFS Abuja since you did your biometrics there. Also, write your name, address and phone number on an A4 paper.

Add these in an envelope then send through the courier, they'll send the documents to VFS Abuja and also deliver it to you when it's stamped.

VFS Abuja address:
3rd Floor, Plot, Sterling Bank Plaza, 1083 Mohammadu Buhari Way, Central Business District 900211, Abuja
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Aissy: 7:47pm On Dec 09, 2021
Thank you all so much , I have been staring at my phone ehn like is this for real!!!

My first application was February 20 2021
I got rejected on July 26th 2021 due to personal asset and financial status which when my gcm notes came they said there was a lump sum before the rejection sef I had a PFL about a chargeback because I used an agent and I had to repay the money and sincerely apologize and explain everything.
My second was September 17 2021
I am suppose to be going for winter 2022 in conestoga college for food processing and quality assurance, it’s a year course( I studied industrial chemistry at the the BSC level) but I have already deferred the admission to fall 2022 before my PPR came today tho I still haven’t even gotten a new letter of admission.
So what we did different with the second application was that first of all my dad was my only sponsor in the first application so we made my mum a co sponsor this time( close statement of about 15million for both of them), we attached my dads landed documents and explained the exact lump sum of 8million which they had an issue with( it was a liquidation of a fixed deposit) so we attached the certificate for the liquidation.
Other documents submitted
-My bank statement for my mum and dads for 1 year
-a notarized letter of sponsorship from them
- an affidavit of support from both of them
-landed documents stating how much my dad collects in rent annually
-admission letter for winter 2022
-first semester tuition payment receipt
-professional certification in food processing
-Microsoft certificate
-waec result
-university transcript
-statement of result
-ielts general with band 8
-emedical slip from my first medical
-a letter from a pharmacy I did internship
-my dad’s retirement papers
- my mum’s CAC papers for her business
I think that’s all
I actually used an agent the second time but she was even surprised the amount of knowledge I already had about the whole process and I solely got from here.
I honestly thank God because ehn this time I didn’t really put my mind, I even stopped checking my account for weeks and just decided that it was really my time I will go.
Thank you to everyone here you guys are sincerely good people, taking out time to answer our numerous questions and even giving out encouragement. God bless all of you truly and you all shall speedily receive your own testimony.

Please oh I live in Benin and I did my biometrics in Abuja, I want to send my passport on Monday
How do I go about it?

The agent is misleading and can cause your brother a blow not only to his aspiration but also to his career.

First, a CGPA of as low as 3, even some lesser, can secure admission to a Canadian university. It may and indeed not be all universities. Do your research.

Do not engage in document forgery. You risk five years ban or some severe consequences. I don't know how one could be proud of something they did not work for or deserved.

Finally, I’d advise that you do it yourself—the application. That's what the majority of folks on here do. The agent that suggested forgery could use a stolen card for your visa payment, and that's another big headache.

Cheers!

Ikechi12:
Please don't. Think about the long term consequences.
1. Usually after admission (I can say with certainty for McGill University), your school must directly send a copy of your transcript and certificate to the University. How do you plan to forge that?
2. I know that in the future, he may think of applying for PR, please don't spoil your record.
An agent that suggests so is not even to be trusted. It is obvious that his only concern is his money and not your brother's future. If I were you, I'd be afraid if such person is handling my application sef.
thank you so much

Good evening everyone
So while me I am patiently waiting for my approval, my aunt wants to sponsor my brother to study in Canada too. But the agent she gave us said my brothers CGP of 3.09 is too low to get a master which I agree then I suggested he gets a PGD from all the information I have gathered on this page instead the agent said he should forge a certificate with a higher grade then use that apply which I strongly oppose to ooh. He said he has done it for plenty people that if my brother wants to go ahead with getting a PGD then he won’t do the visa application for him. Isn’t all this funny my people?

Thank you for your reply
Though My visa application is still under review with the winter admission letter i submitted but the school said after my first visa refusal I mistakenly deferred the admission to fall 2022. Now I am asking them for the fall 2022 admission letter to send to IRCC to notify them of the change of program date but the school said I should wait till the end of November. My fear now is what if my visa is approved before November end?
makano:
Hello Aissy

Have you informed the school of your PPR?

Also your Visa is valid for a year, so if the deferred date is within the 1 year validity of your Visa, then you have no problem..

But I will advise you inform your school of the new development especially if your deferred date is beyond the 1 year Visa Validity..

Peace

Aissy we have same reason for refusal in our GCMS notes , how did you tackle it in your second app that led to your approval ?
good morning, I am still waiting to hear from them from my second application but what I did different was that my sponsor who is my dad explained the lump sum that was in his account( it was as a result of liqudification of a fixed deposit account and we attached a proof to that ) then we added landed properties papers, my mum acted as a co sponsor this time with her CAC documents of her business.
