Qwerty7654: Congratulations Please can you share a sample of the daily emails?
I applied Feb 26, I want to start sending emails too. Thanks! Dear Sir/Madam My name is......a study permit applicant from Nigeria with application number........ and UCI number........... I submitted my study permit application via the new IRCC application portal on....... and my upfront medical was updated to passed on....... However, no other updates has been posted on my portal or mail since then till now, which is a very long time. I am well aware that your office is inundated with large volume of applications that may exceed your capacity to process all within your quoted processing time. However, I am pleading for a speedy resolution of my application. I have found it very difficult focusing on my daily activities here since the beginning of the year as all my plans for the year are tied to my study plan. I humbly plead that you do your best to conclude the processing of my application as soon as possible to enable me take more definite steps with regards to my study plans for the year and regain my mental health and psychological balance. Thank you so much for your efforts so far in working on my application, as I look forward to your prompt and positive decision/feedback on my application. Best regards |

Mary94: ITS PPR GUYS.
I found out about F&R global from nairaland, he has been termed as the guru. I reached out to him and he responded swiftly to all my questions like he had known me before but I was still skeptical as per Nigerian agent and their numerous stories.
My Frank has been professional from start to finish, made everything seem less for me despite my incessant calls etc but he was calm although.
You always encouraged me despite knowing how scared I was because of my location and how it was going to work out. Always ready to answer my questions even if it’s in the midnight (always waking up to see your replies) @Frankrobbn1 You are truly God sent. Words can’t express how I feel, it has finally ended in praise.
I can’t thank you enough, you have made my 4 years Canada dream a reality. May Almighty God bless you ooo, more referrals trust me. You know your work.

kelchy: It's PPR!!!!!
I can't believe this, I am still in shock, what my God cannot do does not exist.
I began this journey in 2019 through the Express Entry Program then Covid happened in 2020 and everything just pressed stop. I was very frustrated and just gave up on the Canadian journey until last year when my best friend applied and got her Canadian Student Visa, it was just the push I needed to revive my Japa spirit.
November of 2021, I applied to Conestoga college and NBCC, on the 14th of December, Conestoga College gave me admission while NBCC waitlisted me. Immediately I contacted MAKANO to find out what my chances were because I am married and I wanted my uncle to act as my sponsor. He said if I packaged my documents well, I will definitely get an approval, his positivity gave me the courage to go ahead and pay my tuition deposit.
Then , we began the application process, MAKANO was super helpful and patient, always available to answer my sometimes stupid questions, he followed me through the application from the documents needed to my SOP development, final document review and application. I applied on the 7th of February, after which I did an upfront medical on the 1st of March, then the wait began.......
The wait is the worst thing ever, I find myself constantly checking my email and signing into my account, then MAKANO and my best friend advised that I should constantly send emails to IRCC which I did three times daily for over 2 weeks. Last week I sent emails to all the MPs, I didn't get any concrete response from them then my best friend also messaged them last weekend from Canada. I was already getting very frustrated and sad,my husband and friends kept on encouraging me until when I saw the golden mail this afternoon, I just started crying, I cried for over 5 minutes, then I started to call my husband, family and friends.

possessor1: first application April 6 2021: (old portal)Biometrics April 7th.. Biometrics updated ..July 8th: May 19: Upfront Medical Medicals done May 19 .... June 2 Upfront medical updated --- no NSE request at allEligibility started July 16th Request Letter Back charge July 31st Paid August 2nd PFL Procedural fairness August 25thResponded to procedural fairness August 29th Visa denied November 12th
The reason for the PFL/charge back was that my agent used someone's card to pay my visa fees. I was pissed, but I was like...I can't let someone pour sand in my Garri. Initially I thought he was being fraudulent because the person with the card he used to pay wasn't forthcoming with the bank statement. I quickly paid another application fee without an explanation.
IRCC sent me mail showing PFL and a potential 5 years ban saying I should explain why debt to the crown was incurred in the first place. Mogbe! I was here thinking...how do I explain to IRCC that a friend used his friend's card to pay for my VISA application.Guess what that's exactly what I did. I told IRCC exactly that! and that it was a common problem in the NIgerian banking system.
I also shared a CBN article talking about the dollar limit CBN placed on Nigerian banks.I took it to court to notarize it. The guy later sent his statement, I added it to what was sent. After everything I got rejected on November 12, 2021
I put myself together and reapplied December 3rd with the new portal. (This time I paid full tuition and switched progratailored to my current job experience)No single thing in my application changed. I started classes online which was a story for another day. I sent emails and webforms, no response. At one point I thought something was wrong with the portal! I was like, unlike the old portal where I was getting updatesMedical viewed, with date viewed/ updated. Eligibility etc. This one is nothing! like no single update.
December, January, February, March...I was like hmmmmmmm. Then in March. IRCC responded to my webform saying I should resubmit all the documents I applied with! I was like what!!! IRCC lost my file or what? (by this time some people I started the process with and got rejected were already in the UK asking me how far... wont I jump ship to the UK ? that IRCC is using us to catch trips.
I was like sighhh. I encouraged myself in the Lord. I submitted everything again to IRCC through webform. 2 weeks later this time In April 2022. They sent another email saying that I should submit everything again. This time I panicked . I started calling on God like my life depended on it.
It actually did.Because He is the alpha and Omega, my application is in between. He is El roi ...The God who sees. It was at this point I shared what was going on with Maureen. Maureen was like I should just hang in there.. and keep believing. Her encouragement was like cold soothing water in a dry and thirsty land. I also reached out to 2 MPs, they were like its not in their jurisdiction, except it is critical. I emailed one of them saying I have not even gotten an update. He said he will send a mail to IRCC on my behalf. This was third week of april.
IRCC responded to him that criminality has been passed. I was like what does that even mean... Im like okay... Then I sent another strong, subtle, emotional but stern mail that I think my situation is very critical because my next semester is not online and I really need a response. He sent another mail to IRCC stating that if I don't hear from them in 4 weeks, I should send him a mail.
May 23rd I sent him a mail.Booom!!! PPR May 24th! 2nd Application timeline Dec 3 applied* (no signle update...my portal hasnt changed!) May 24th PPR
List of documents submitted are 1. Admission Letter 2. Degree Certificate. 3. Previous Company Contract Letter and ID card. (notarized) 4. Current Company Contract Letter and ID card. (notarized) 5. MightyRance: I just recently did some finding based on the feedback i review on this trend.
It seems like once eligibility review starts, it takes within 2 months to get a final decision on application.
Who else has observed this? Not true. It could be less than 2 months. |
