kay_pumpin: bgees:Always this pessimism. ![]() Hope the Nigerians in the stadium know better how to push them to the highest. |
obinna5000:Yeah, really impressive and emotional. I loved it, too. |
AjanleKoko: maybe the Nigerian people should use this opportunity to take over the power. ![]() |
Well, I hate these Maggi cubes, too. I have never used them nor will use them in my food. There is something in it what makes people used to and every food has the same ground taste. Am (over 40) still from "old school", means cooking without Maggi, Knorr and Co. Have learnt cooking from my late grand mother. May her soul rest in peace. Yeah, I was really surprised that you will hardly find someone cooking without Maggi, in Nigeria. Especially, because you have so wonderful fresh herbs and reasons here, that actually Maggi is not needed. |
Well, when I think of what my husband prays for, then I wish that Nigeria can make it up to the final. As for us as a Nigerian/German couple he wants Nigeria playing against Germany, just to have little wahala, ![]() But this is only possible in quater final or final. And playing in quater final against each other is too early, for both teams. But serious now, I strongly believe, if Lagerbäck could inject the spirit, which the Nigerian players have shown in 1994, in the today's national team, they can get the trophy. Don't underestimate Lagerbäck. He is like a poker player who allows nobody to have a look on his cards on hand. I am very sure, he has a plan which will surprise you all. Remember my words. |
An other good memory, which no one will ever forget, no matter if Nigerian or not. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Omu3pUK3R1I&feature=player_embedded Coca Cola magic moments, place 8: Rashidi Yekini achieves the first goal for Nigeria. Goal.com and Coca Cola present the countdown of 50 nicest world championship-cheering scenes of all times. Nigeria took part in 1994 for the first time in the final of a world championship and immediately with good success: In the first play Bulgaria was clearly hit and Rashidi Yekini became the famed hero. |
Inadequate, fallible and imperfect humans should have the possibility by law to execute other humans? What a creepy thought. |
I am using Sony Ericsson S500i - Ed Hardy edition. For me Sony Ericsson is the best.

toluxa1:Well spoken!, I cannot say it better. Most (I do not say all) Nigerians are never satisfied. If a politicain speaks to them, they say, all na lie, we want to see actions. If a politicain acts, they say , why he does not speak to us. What is better now, speaking or acting? If GJ wants to use facebook as a modern and new way to inform its people about the going on, why not? I am very sure that every "inteligent" comment from Nigerians will be read, maybe not always from himself, but it will be read and thought of. It is an opportunity for GJ to give informations and to learn about peoples mind without investing too much time. You all know that he has no time to waste. Btw, who screamt always after new and fresh ideas in politics? |
Two "doctors", two opinions. Whom should I believe now ![]() I will count petals. . . . I am fine. . . I am not fine. . . I am fine. . . I am not fine. . . I am fine. . . . . . . ![]() No, serious now. @SeanT21 Thank you for your help. Indeed, I thought the problems were remedied already when I wrote the post. Obviously a mistake. @Mobinga Does a psychological online test also count? Although, this test certifies a flawless mind to me. ![]() hmm. . . must be wrong, because you are of other opinion. btw, do you know a good neurosurgeon? . . . It goes nothing about a good sense of humor and irony. |
Where please my post has landed? ![]() Phone section topic "How to send text messages/sms to Nigeria or anywhere in Africa from abroad" Though I am indecated as last post and can find it in my profile, it is not to be seen in topic direct. Must I have worries about my mind? |
Actually it should be absolutely irrelevant who the next presidantial candidate of the PDP is, or? No matter whether Goodluck Ebele Jonathan or Mohammed Namadi Sambo or who else. They both belongo to the PDP, identifiy themselves with the party and the party programme. Both have the whole party in the neck, should they rule. A party which has brought only bad luck in the past and left words no actions, which has lied, cheated everyone. Logical conclusion would be a punishment of the PDP and with it of the gouvernment by select another party and therefore completely different candidates. @becomrich7 I know that and have put this question intentionally. Obviously this way of thinking has led up to now to the fact that always any ethnic, any region, was disadvantaged. Is it not the time to be rethought instead of playing the same old disk over and over again? @edoyad hey, how are you? Long time, |
becomrich7:Just a simple question. WHEN WOULD NIGERIA WIN? |
http://www.bible.ca/f-husbands-responsibility.htm I think this has validity even today, or? Simple and clear. What is your opinion? |
MandingoII:Really? I have heard the reason was something else. Million or Billion or maybe MBillion or Bmillion, who knows. Very difficult!!! ![]() |
post#27 from Sky Blue Hitler was also educated. This is not right. Hitler was not educated, on the contrary. He has stayed down on the secondary school twice and has left the school after three years, without graduation. |
I have never understood, which is why the United States have defended themselves so long to introduce a compulsory medical insurance. Nevertheless, such a thing is more than fair and sensibly. Every worker, office worker, official and self-employed is compulsorily insured in Germany. Children and not employed husbands or wifes are included in the insurance free of charge. Even people who have no insurance for some reasons, as for example homeless who do not look after their insurance or illegally in Germany living people are treated medically in the case of illness in spite of the expenses. Nobody is turned down, only because he cannot pay the treatment. Since January this year the contribution amounts to 14.9% of the gross income. One half pays the employee and other half the employers. The money is automatically drawn off from the wage / salary and is transferred by the employer to the Social insurance authority. Just as for the pension scheme, the unemployment insurance, the churches and wage tax. Clear it is sometimes groaned if one looks at his pay slip and sees how many net income has been left at the end. But only so a social state can function. And at the latest if your children need braces for years, you or a member of your family has to go for an OP in the hospital, or if you take up the various precaution controls, or only the visit with a doctor if you are ill, never mind chronically ill. Simply show your insurance card and ready. No cock crows afterwards anymore. The services of the health insurances, the hospitals and doctors are well to very well. If you want really luxus treatment you must pay extra. Sure, it was even better 30 years ago. The insurance contributions were lower and there were more reliefs than today. However, because the people in Germany become old and old, but are born in the contrast less and less children, the load of the social insurance rises. An easy calculation. |
You are completely right. Welcome to the country of the not available freedom of speech and freedom of opinion. ![]() Even if this freedom always ends with the injury of the dignity of the other. Who of the named ones does still own dignity? I think, the right on protection of their dignity they have lost for a long time. Not very democratically, but my opinion. Who is quite infallible? ![]() It's simply sad. |
And now even there it is not to be found any more. ![]() |
@edoyad Yes I am still around and of course I have seen the news. Seems you haven't read my post. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=409382.msg5660351#msg5660351 #462 I am not really the type of person, who reproaches others with the mirror, because we are not infallible everybody and the wisdom has been laid nobody in the cradle. Also not to me. But I had the feeling to have to become a little clearer and straighter. |
LOL- Sorry, I did not want to put you under stress. ![]() I know, I have the habit to write "novels". I try to rephrase it later. Now I am busy too. |
ElRazur (m) Re: Ok So Lets Say Nigerian Breaks Up « #19 on: Today at 09:51:20 AM » @Topic Yes division will create more solutions and at the same time there will be further problems. Having said that, if we are to use nation who have broken up in the past as a model, then it is clear that the advantages outweighs the disadvantages. Ask yourself and the majority of people here if they prefer Nigeria to be as it is, or have her divded into smaller nations. I think the overwhelming answers will be to break up into smaller nations. That in itself speaks volume. I.e if people do not want to be together, why hold them in place by force? If Nigeria is a marriage, it would have divorced long time ago and each party married another partner and moved on since. Here is to break up, as I believe it will sort a lot of the problems. @ElRazur,you know how to choose your words very well. As well as you have put this question, you can be sure that the answer is in such a way as you wish it and expect. Of course the vast majority will answer that it is better to separate than to live in Nigeria as it is now. But let's think a little. Pure hypothetically with a touch of irony. However, think once certainly and honestly about it. Fact is,the opinions about the future of Nigeria are divided obviously. In one group, that says Nigeria should remain one because we can still do together and in the other group that says Nigeria must be split because we can't do together anymore. And this fact is not limited on certain tribe. In every tribe there are those who think pro-united and those who think contra-united. So let us split Nigeria in two halves. Makes less work. Both halves are equivalent. One half for those who have the will and the ability to live with each other, in spite of their origin and religion. Other half remains for the rest. Let's name them "united half" and "disunited half". What do you believe, it would happen? Would the "united half" makes a country, with progress and prosperity for everybody equally, from her part? Would the "disunited half" argue and fight, till the end of the days? Will they would try to come to an arrangement with the time anyhow? Would they also come to progress and prosperity? Or would the people change bit by bit to the other half because they see that it functions? I think you will agree with me if I state, "united half" would make something great from her country. But why? Think that also here a variety in tribes lives. It has met not only just one tribe by chance. Also think that the people of both halves have lived in Nigeria which we know for 50 years. But what is the difference between the people of both halves? Does the difference not lie in the abilities of every single people, no matter which background they have? The ability in democratic understanding and social justice? The ability to remedy problems and litigations in human and fair way instead of aggravate by mindless and hasty actions? Want you to say that from the more than 150 million Nigerians only a vanishing low Part, owns these abilities? If this is true, you will also fail if I you divide. It is as I already said in other topic; You hang like puppets on the threads which the government moves. And you do not note it, even not after almost 50 years. If it depends on it, you have all mouth and no trousers. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=409382.msg5660351#msg5660351 , #462 Who would like to change the world, must start with itself. If you want to change Nigeria, start with yourselves. Think @all once about it! |
Veritas09:Very well spoken! |

country. I hear Jonathan, Sambo, most of the ministers, and 62 senators are all in SA watching the World Cup. Imagine.
