@ Ajali,

I note your post but some guys don pass dis level. They are in the  ;no hear no see zone, beyond recall
and some people already do not believe in God  and this explains their mindset.

UND DAS KANN ICH NICHT VERSTEHN
Sure, there have always been such people and will always be. With it we must live.
However, they are still a minority and we must do everybody everything for it,
so that these do not become more. This is valid for both sides.

@all

As somebody who has argued with both religions for years really very intensely

and has "studied" the Koran as well as the Bible in detail I can say that both religions

preach peace and love in the same measure. The assertion that in Islam all non-Muslims

are valid as unbelievers is also wrong. In the Koran stands written that every person

who believes in one of the prophets is religious and should be respected.

Also Islam recognises Jesus as a prophet, even if to Mohammed more meaning is attached
.

Everybody, who alleging something else are false-escorted.

People, please talk with each other! Fear originates from ignorance and unawareness.
And from nothing else

@ajali our German princess, i'm sorry for the tone i took up with you. The problem is when one is in rage it is hard to think clearly and see the other side. This religious problem has been used to unleash terror on my people times without number.
I know every country has her problems, even Germany was seperated after the world war by forces beyond her control; but through tolerance and understanding the Soviet backed East Germans came to understand that reunification and democracy was best for Germany. Now she is overcoming the problems of resistance initially posed and Germany is the envy of all.  I was suprised when Angela Merkel became chancellor Inspite of her East German origins, that's how people progress not through resistance to positive change.
No worry, I am hard in taking.  wink  I can understand you well.
I am the last who would say, follow an example of Germany. This is blether.
Nigeria is Nigeria and should also remain it. Not all western orientation feels well for Nigeria.
You must find your own way.
Only sometimes it is to be listened not wrong an opinion from the outside.
Particularly if you are in rage.

@ajali i don't really get your message but i hope you're not saying that jews were responsible for their own deaths.
Secondly on your remarks about alcohol, Germans are the highest consumers of beer in Europe does that take away from the fact that they're the biggest economy in Europe. If the hausa people in jos have a problem with the alcohol that's their problem cos i know for a fact that it is not yet a crime in Nigeria to consume alcohol. May be one day when Nigeria has been Islamized and we're a part of the Organization of Islamic Countries then a prohibition on alcohol could be placed.
Not  completely slept off yet, or edoyad?  grin

The poster was tatanian.
I have commented only on the last sentence.

But to answer your questions.
Of course the Jews weren't responsible for their death.
And, yes, the Germans drink most beer (apart from me; I have still drunk no drop of alcohol in my life)
and no, it has no influence on economy.
Of course it is everybody's own decision whether he drinks alcohol or not and it is also not a crime.
What concerns the islamization of Nigeria, now there I am maybe to other opinion.
This isn't really necessary. With tolerance and understanding both religions can live very well with each other.
And I know from what I talk.

Lagos - Das tägliche Wunder (The daily wonder)

A film report about the Mega City Lagos. Unfortunately, only in German, because produces
for the German television. However, statements of the interviewed Lagosian are also to be
understood partially.

My remarks to the film:

Although the film was produced in summer, 2007, so at the beginning of Fasholas term
of office and certainly since that time something has changed, there is still to act a lot,
but maybe Fashola should think over his priorities.   undecided

I despise the company politics of the Berger company and how the behaviour in Lagos.  angry

The statement of the singer, poet and teacher Dagatola that many Lagosian from the slums
long back the slavery only because for being able to escape from the life there is frightening
and shows once more the failure of the politicians on whole line.

I was speechless when I saw the Winners Church.  shocked

I divide the opinion of Femi Kuti what concerns the life setting of the Lagosian.  wink

I leave all other to the viewer.

PoliticsRe: What Is Nigeria's Most Worrisome Problem by ajalio(f): 12:24am On Jan 21, 2010
Even if I will provoke now some and annoy, I pronounce it loud and clear out.

You ask what is the most worriesome problem? Well, you people are this and nothing else.
Even if I never was in Nigeria up to now (but what changes very soon), it is completely enough
to read here on Nairaland  the single subjects to receive an impression of Nigeria.
There is virtually no topic where you do not insult and offend each other after the shortest time.
And not only in the political sector, even in romance topics it is the same.
*Men offend women and women offend men.
*One tribe insults other and vice versa.

You complain about corruption, poverty, lacking education system and health service and all other, e-e?

*You are a debt for it.
*Your inability to admit own mistakes and to accept mistake of the other for humanely.
*Your pride and your prejudices, your egoism, your lacking ability to discuss on deferential
Wise differences of opinion and to find solutions.
*But above all your limitless lethargy in past decades.
*You have allowed that the governments  have made with you what they wanted.
*You have allowed that a tribe was played against the other.

God, Allah, Jehovah, or how ever you call him will already intervene one day?
Whose prayers should he hear?
Are we not all his children? On whom should he decide then?

Even if @edoyad will say now again
"I'm sure you can see that we're getting ourselves mobilised and taking matters into our hands."

I have discussed hours with my man and friends this subject.
And I was always the advocator "together one is strong" "One can reach everything if one only wants".

However, quite honestly? Slowly I have doubt that is possible in Nigeria.
*You cannot think and act for the public weal.
*Everybody searches only his own advantage.
Certainly there are exceptions, but I fear that is not enough.  sad
It would be a great pity, because Nigeria could be so great.

So, now you are allowed to stony me if you want, however, this is my opinion.

These apparitions are definitely not part of the grandoise lagos scenery, I believe there must be a mistake somewhere. The Lagos you all have chosen to exist in, is that of fash-the-man, where the landscape is greened with opulence, and the roads abhor spotted holes. A lagos where men are fully reined in suits and women in diamonds.
This can't be Lagos,,,,,,, or is it?
A poet from Lagos has said once "Lagos is so big that heaven and hell have place in it".
I believe more appropriately one can't describe it. And to remain poetic, "in Nigeria heaven and hell unite.
At one moment you are in the paradise and if you turn round, you feel the heat of the purgatory."

Nigeria, the country of the contrasts!

It is nothing bad to be extrovert. On the contrary!

Extra version (from lat. extrā "outside" and vertere "turn"; often also Extroversion)
distinguishes itself by an outwardly skilful position. Extrovert characters feel the exchange

Typically extrovert qualities are talkative,
determines, actively, energetically, dominant, enthusiastically and adventuresome.

No Nigerian Citizenship For British By Marriage
« on: July 02, 2008, 04:27 PM »

Dear All,
I was shocked today by the response from the Nigerian Embassy London by 15:57(02/07/08) that there is no provision for citizenship for any British by marriage.
I am married to an English girl and she loves Nigeria so much and want to be a Citizen but was shocked when we were told that she can't get Nigerian citizenship notwitstanding that we are married and I hold dual citizenship.
Could this be a reality- I am entitled to dual citizenship -British by the virtue of marriage and Nigerian by birth but my wife is not entitled to Nigerian citizenship on the same basis(Marriage)
Guys abeg I need some info as I don't know what and how to go about this

Black guys are turning their backs on black women
But they can go sha after all they are the ugly ones
that go after white girls, you'll never see a goodlooking
man go for white girls

Then you must be happy. We take the ugly men and the rest is for you,  LOL
However, you know exactly that this isn't right.

Quote from: Spyker on Today at 05:56:37 PM

So why don't you go white men if they soothe you. I don't see anything wrong in a man's choice but i can never date a white woman. They smell like onions and i can't stand it.

LOL
However, you know that onions are healthy and have curative effect, or?  wink

BTW here is a nice lyric about black and white  grin

Black & White
Black as night. Bright as light.
we contrast beautifully,
as do opposites attract, mix,
mingle, blend and melt into fusion.
We have become a single element.
A combination of all that is you
with everything that is I.

Separate of one and the other,
our hue and textures are brilliant.
And with each part pieced into the puzzle,
we have not become abstract.
Instead we fit, we quilt, we collage
and thus, we complete a portrait.
A masterpiece stroked by destiny.

Together, mysterious and powerful.
Mesmerizing to envious eyes.
Spawning hopes, desires, dreams, fantasies,
for we are as others long to be.
And there is no need to reason why.
This is natural. This is comfortable,
this is you and I. This is us. We.
And we are just as we are meant to be,
one!
That wars, strives, swords and distance will
never separate!
RomanceRe: Is He Serious? by ajalio(f): 8:51pm On Jan 15, 2010
Oohh, this is one of the questions which is very difficult to be answered. If was so easy, we all would have less problems. No matter whether man or woman. Unfortunately, we people aren't in the situation to be seen in the heart or the thoughts of the other. There are men and also women, they can lie blue from the sky down to you without becoming red. They are perfect actors.

However, in general I advise you to answer the following questions for yourself:
1. Does he keep his promises?
2. Does he treat you with respect?
3. How does he behave towards you in the presence of his friends?
4. How is his reputation with others?
5. Does he not put you under pressure? (concerning intimacy)
6. Does your opinion interest him?
7. Does he take interest in your worries? (if you have which)
8. has he lied to you already once?
9. tries he to change you?

But as said, there is no patent prescription.
