"In order to attain the Goals of Economic freedom and Prosperity, Nigeria must do certain things as a matter of urgency and priority; It must provide free Education (at all levels) and free Health facilities for the masses of its Citizens..." - Chief Ọbáfẹ́mi Awólọ́wọ̀ |
Orikinla: State of Osun is the only state in the SW that did not vote for Papa Deceive Pikin (PDP) in the last presidential election in Nigeria. You can say that again...and again! |
That's My state...State of the Living Spring... Even with the meagre monthly allocation from Abuja, Ogbeni seems to be making a statement... Another "Awo" in the making... |
I dey vex! I obviously chose the wrong Career path, no thanks to My education-and-book-loving Mama and Grandma... I represented My secondary school in the lagos state Principals' Cup competition in both the junior and senior categories...May be I would have been playing for My favourite team, Arsenal right now and earning megabucks, if I had trodden the Football Path... But Look at My Life right now! With a good Degree and 2 Professional qualifications, Samuel Eto'o earns in a week, what I would earn in 43 years or thereabout, with respect to earned Income...I doubt if Eto'o has the equivalent of a National Diploma... No be by book at all o...In as much as I admire intellectual and scholastic accomplishments, I also crave Money in large amounts...So, it's Money Over Books... If you've got a Boy out there who has a keen interest in football and he's relatively good at it, please, encourage him...I still blame My Grandma for not allowing Me to enrol for the Pepsi FC summer coaching for secondary school students that year at the National stadium Surulere, Lagos; She insisted that I enrol for some nonsense Junior WAEC classes...Some boys made it to Europe from that Pepsi FC summer coaching... I dey vex! |
Biggie things... When I die, phuck it, I wanna go to HELL...'Cos I'm a Piece of $hit, it ain't hard to phuckin' TELL... It doesn't make sense going to Heaven with the goodie-goodies dressed in White; I like Black Timbs and Black Hoodies... In Heaven...God'll probably have Me on some real strict $HIT...No sleeping all day, No gettin' My Dicck LICKED... Hangin' with the goodie-goodies, loungin' in paraDISE, phuck that $hit, I wanna tote Guns and shoot DICE... I'm sick of B!tches HAWKIN', I'm sick of Niggers Lyin'...Matter of fact, I'm sick of TALKIN'... |
Assad doesn't deserve to live... I'm sure he's gonna end up like Gaddafi...Time will definitely tell! |
johnstar:On My part, I really don't care if She's a Good cook! What are Restaurants and fast food joints for? I just hope She'll be a Fool; that's the best thing a B!tch can be in this world...a beautiful, sexy, voluptuous Bimbo... #Listening to Tupac's "Life goes on"# |
Prof. Wande Abimbola is a professor of yoruba history contrary to your assertion above.
Nigger... Nothing stops a Professor of Jurisprudence at the University of Lagos from holding a Professorial role in International Law at the Lagos state University... Several Dons out there hold multiple Professorial roles...Soyinka was a Professor of Comparative Literature at Ife, a Professor of Drama at Cornell, a Professor of the Arts at Emory and a Professor of Creative writing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas; The late Marie Curie was a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry and a Professor of Physics. She actually won Nobel Prizes in both Physics and Chemistry, two different fields... Professor Abimbola was conferred as a Professor of African Languages and Literature at Ife...Probably, a School where he taught in the States or some other place gave him the "Professor of Yoruba History" title... #listening to Tupac's Better dayz (Vol. 2) album# |
Jesus is d way,the truth and the light,no one gets to the father(GOd) except through him.
...and who's interested in getting to the Father? Bros, it's not a must you comment! There's actually nothing bad in viewing a thread and leaving it without dropping a comment! Respect yourself before I send a Joint task force of Ogun, Sango ati Esu to strike you down! |
caramelll: Guess its d same charm dt helped him secure a position as VC.He became a VC 'cos he's also a renowned and erudite Scholar and not just a revered Babalawo. He's actually a Full Professor of African Languages and Literature and has lectured in the best of the bests, Harvard University and a host of other Ivy-league Universities in the States... Not only Professors of Engineering, Law or Surgery are qualified to be Vice Chancellors...If I ain't mistaken, the erstwhile VC of the University of Ilorin, Professor Ishaq Oloyede is a Professor of Islamic and Arabic studies... |
ILIDEFI: Many Yoruba graduates are terrible in English (both in their accents and d use of verbs), despite being taught in schools with English language. Can somebody now imagine how it would b in a couple of years time if dis new plan is implemented?Who's this Fool? |
adeaugustus: I find it boring because, I couldn't read it very well! That does not depreciate the value of the language, just expressing my views! Ok?I think the word, "boring" sounds derogatory and disparaging, So most Yorubas on here including Me would find it insulting that you label our "Yoruba" boring... ...And you even went ahead to cajole others to follow suit by liking your Post...Doesn't that make you an "Oponu" and an "Omo ale jati jati"?... Oloshi! |
adeaugustus: Like this if you find Yoruba language boring. You are very wrong, Nigger! It ain't boring but very rich!...richer than you'd ever understand... Back to post...It feels good seeing that white bloke associate with Osun, My state of origin; Ogun, My God and Yoruba, My language... |
owolabifunke14: Explain cursed semens. Children are giftNot all Kids are Gifts! How do you explain the offsprings that resulted from the evils of Rap£, Prostitution and Inc£st?... Most, if not all of those Kids are Offshoots of such dastardly acts; and unfortunately for them, their Parents were left with no options than to abandon them in Orphanages... Or you think all Kids in Orphanages are actually Orphans? No! Most of them still have unknown Parents livin' their miserable lives on... |
Poor Kids... Victims of cursed Semens... |
IYA NGBALI: how dare you compared Awo with aregbesola?your so called aregbesola is too small to step into the shoes of Awo now and forever.Awo started from somewhere, just like Aregbeshola is doing too... As a matter of fact, Aregbeshola is starting out in the same manner Awo kicked his development strategies off...To get a better insight, go to a very good bookshop and get a copy of Olufemi Ogunsanwo's "Awo - Unfinished Greatness"... |
This Man, Aregbeshola is the "Awo" of our time... Haters, keep hating! ...good to know he's an Ijesha Man...Proudly Ijesha! |
If actually she claims to have fuccked the Pastor, She should tell the whole World the specifications of the Guy's John Thomas...like the colour, length when turgidly erect and otherwise, curvature, presence of any birthmark and spots, the size and shape (Oval or circular) of the balls...then a committee would be set up headed by a "Man of God" of unquestionable repute to verify the veracity or mendacity of her claim... |
Nothing compares to the succour and gratification that comes with living in the depths of Solitude... I live alone and I swear, I regret not activating that status earlier! |
sylvalord: Good evening peepsI'm sure if Henry Townsend and Thomas Birch Freeman hadn't cajoled Our Forefathers to accept their religion, "Christianity"... May be you'd have been an Usher in an Ifa shrine, or the Personal Assistant to Yeye Osun...or an Amadioha Priest... You never can tell... ...And I'm very sure Townsend and Freeman's seeds living today are far from being Christians... "Oyinbos" know better than to adhere to religions...No wonder Churches close down almost every day in Europe and North America... |
Onaolamipo: Idol worshippers. You are worshipping what cannot speak or hear. It has no power. God is powerful...And have you ever heard your own "God" speak? Our respective "gods" exist in our Minds...They definitely don't exist in the real world... ...Proudly Osun, ni ilu Ilesha but repping Ogun, the Yoruba god of War, Iron and metallic ore... Osun a gbe waa o! |
FIFA 14 on Play Station 3 is an absolute Masterpiece! ...can't wait to see how it's gonna look like on Play station 4... Bring it on, Sony! By the way, when will Technology reach its Peak? I mean, that Point of diminishing returns...just wondering 'cos this Play station series fit reach 10 oo! |
Male Cooks don't menstruate and therefore, don't need to go the John to change that blood-soaking $h!t severally... For this reason alone, I'd prefer a Male Cook! |
toba: Im a spiritual person myself but throughout the 1hour he spent ministering, i was not moved one bit.I find it hard to believe that this bleaching Gbef is the same Person Tope Alabi eulogizes His God in most of her songs... She just wouldn't stop saying Olorun Ajanaku, Olorun Iretiola and Olorun Elijah...pisses Me off big time! Even though She's one beautiful, Soulful, dulcet-voiced Gospel Artiste, I'm beginning to suspect Tope Alabi herself... |
Ojogbon Soyinka! Baba Agba!, Omowe ti o lafiwe!... I'm sure "Wild Christian" and "Essay" would be extremely proud of you in the after-Life, if there's any! May Ogun never recedes in showering with the blessings of Sagacity and Shrewdness... |
Her br£asts have lost their respective intrinsic values...They seem non-existent! |
Jenifa 4? Dat's wat yorubas call ASEJU.
...and you are what Yorubas call Oya...tori o n be! Why be in a rush to judge what you've not seen? Jenifa 4 might even be more interesting and funnier than the other prequels! Funke Akindele is one creative girl and I trust her not to disappoint! |
Is she married? She combines her athleticism with the gracefulness of a runway model! Who has her contact details, please? |
I see no reason why the National stadium in Surulere, Lagos shouldn't be renamed after him. Afterall, there's another National stadium in Abuja! That Guy gave his Life for this country and he deservedly deserves to be immortalized! ***In Sir Shina Peter's voice***Eh Okwaraji, Eh Okwaraji, iwo nikan lomo Baba, iwo nikan lomo Iya...ti won ba n gba bolu lorun, ko ge won lege ara! |
Welcome to Lagos! The character "Solo" in that old comedy film, "Lagos na wa" comes to mind! On another note, I don't believe the $h!t happened to the Op! May be he just relayed someone else's predicament! if actually it happened to him, will his fingers still have the "hearts" to open www.nairaland.com and type away? |
