Robinson Enofe, an officer of the Nigerian police force has revealed why he may quit his job very soon. In a Facebook post, Mr. Robinson explained that police officers are not valued because they collect bribe.

According to him, a policeman recently extorted N3,500 from an Okada man he (Robison) knows, despite pleading on his behalf. He added that he has become ashamed of his job and would leave the force soon.

The acting President, Yemi Osinbajo has said that President Buhari is recuperating fast and would soon be back in the country.

He made the statement while addressing the press ahead of today's Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting.

Speaking on his visit to the president, Osinbajo said: "I went to check on him and find out he was doing. I had of course been speaking to him on the phone and I thought it would be a good thing to go and see him and also to brief him on developments back at home"

"We had a very good conversation on wide-ranging issues. He is in very good spirits and recuperating very quickly".

Armed robbers operating on a motorcycle on Monday killed a middle-aged man and injured another during a robbery attack at Total Filling Station beside Kamo Plaza in Upper New Market road, Onitsha, Anambra State.

According to a resident of the area identified as Divine Olisa, the robbers hid their guns inside a sack and pretended as if they wanted to buy fuel.

After they were attended to, the suspected robbers brought out their guns and shot a man in the leg. They also entered the cashier's office and shot him dead.

The robbers were said to have fled on their motorcycle before the arrival of security operatives.

A manhunt has been launched for a young man identified as Ibrahim Idris alias 'Master' who allegedly slit the throat of his friend, Ibrahim Muhammadu a.k.a Mai-Kauri with a sharp knife in Unguwar Shanu, Kaduna state.

A Kaduna resident who shared the story, Sani Ammani said the incident happened on Friday 7th day of July, 2017. According to him, the suspected murderer fled after committing the crime.

Suspected Fulani herdsmen on Friday butchered the Chief Park Ranger of Gashaka-Gumti National Park, Hamman Njidda in an ambush.

Gashaka National Park is located in the eastern provinces of Taraba state, sharing border with Adamawa and Cameroon

According to reports, Njidda led a team on a patrol around Buspan/Tipsan axis where they encountered the herdsmen who brutally murdered him in cold blood.

The Lagos state police command on Thursday held a meeting with security operatives and traditional leaders at Sabo Junction, opposite Ojokoro Cemetery on how to flush out members of the notorious Badoo group out of Ikorodu.

In attendance were the Deputy Lagos Commissioner of Police, representatives of the 174 Army Battalion, Odogunyan, Ikorodu, NAVY, NDLEA, DSS, OPC, Onyabo Vigilantes, the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps and religious leaders.

While speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Lagos assured Ikorodu residents that the Notorious Badoo Group and their sponsors will soon be flushed.

He called on residents to always hand over suspected criminals to the Onyabo Vigilantes and desist from all forms of jungle justice.

"We all need to stop Jungle Justice, and if we do not trust the Police Departments in Ikorodu, we should at least trust our Local Vigilantes, the Onyabo and Co." said the police commissioner.

Tears of joy and jubilation filled the air after a 70-Year-Old woman allegedly gave birth to a bouncing baby boy as her first child in Alegbo, Warri Delta state. According to Nikoro Efe Terry, the woman had been pregnant for 7 years before she finally delivered the baby.

Runs Girls or better still Call Girls are almost everywhere. From their initial major base – Allen Avenue and Opebi, they have fanned out to everywhere there are major clubs or hang outs. They no long operate at night alone. They also run their business at day time.

They are everywhere, on social media and on the streets. They are on Oba Akran, Shoprite Ikeja, Shoprite Lekki, Fela Shrine, Egbeda, Yaba, Ojuelegba, Agege etc.

They line up the roads in these areas at night awaiting their sweet customers. But, beneath their beautiful cosmetic faces are evil intentions to exploit maximally their customers through stealing, drugging their customers and taking undue advantage of their customers’ satisfaction before vanishing into thin air.

Late last year, Imoleayo, 24 was picked up by Hassan at a hang out in Yaba for a twosome. Imole wanted N30k before surrendering herself but the customer could only pay N20k. She declined the offer but because it was late, she passed the night untouched.

Before day break, Imole had stolen Hassan’s ATM card and thereafter gleaning at his customers’ PIN while Hassan was trying to transfer N5k transport money to his friend through his online banking application.

The next day, a Saturday, Hassan started receiving the first alerts of N20k on his phone. Hassan’s ATM balance gave him out as fully loaded. Imoleayo, dashed to her boyfriend’s abode in Abeokuta and revealed what she was in possession of a loaded ATM card.

By Sunday, N700k was gone from Hassan’s account courtesy Imole’s shopping spree with her boyfriend in Abeokuta.

Stories are replete of cases of runs girls exploiting their customers. There are several customers still groaning silently from loses to some of these girls.

If you have to ease yourself, please be careful not to fall into Runs Girls’ net. You might not be lucky to have her arrested. Then, you would have to groan in silence.

Residents of Owode-Ajegunle area in Ikorodu have caught a man suspected to be one of Badoo cult members who killed at least three people today.

The attack which took place at Crystal Church of Christ (C&S) Aladura at no 4, Victor Anibaba Street, Owode Weighbridge, along Ikorodu Road has reportedly left one woman and two girls dead.

A young Nigerian mam identified as Emmanuel Ugochukwu survived after stowing away in Medview flight from Lagos To London and London back to Lagos state. According to reports, he got on the aeroplane on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 and hid in the front wheels of the aircraft since then.

Troops of 146 Battalion, 16 Brigade Nigerian Army while on routine patrol on Wednesday 28th June 2017, along Sucrucho-Kalarogbana Fishing Ports general area, discovered and destroyed a reactivated illegal oil dumb.

Items recovered include 1 Cooking pot, 2 Storage tanks (iron and plastic) loaded with suspected stolen crude oil, 1 Cylinder and a pumping machine.

In a related development, on the same day, troops stationed at Forward Operation Base Ahoada, while on routine patrol around Ogbogu general area arrested a suspected cultist. Items recovered from the suspect include local charms and substances suspected to be marijuana. The suspect has been handed over to SARS at Erema for further interrogation.

Similarly, on Tuesday 27th June 2017, following a tip off from well-meaning citizens, about suspected armed bandits terrorizing residents of Ogbolo-Ogbolo community, combined troops and and personnel of Mobile Police stationed at Akinima Division, carried out cordon and search operation in the area. Although the suspects fled the scene, before troops arrival, the combined team recovered 2 Locally made gun loaded with cartridges, and 3 Machetes.

The troops also thwarted attempt by kidnappers to attack traders at Omoku market on the same day, following the aftermath of cultist rivalry fight at Uzochi community in Ahoada LGA, Rivers State, troops also conducted aggressive patrol from Ogbogolo to Uzochi. Although normalcy has returned to the area, the Patrol Commander sensitized the inhabitants of the area on the need for peace.
