I don't believe this story. I have lived in Canada before and still reside in North Anerica. I have shipped vehicles before. You cannot ship a vehicle without the vehicle title which can't be forged as most documents are digitized. The title show all transfer of ownership from one owner to the next. And many vehicles are owned by banks since a lot of people take loans to buy their vehicles. The titles are held by the banks until loans are paid off.
