I know how you feel bro BUT don't do it, PLEASE! I was in the same exact state of mind as you except I hadn't stepped foot onto Nigerian soil for 22years (left for the U.S in 1993 when I was quite young). I felt the itch to go to Nigeria and even though I was advised against doing so, I stubbornly did in 2016 and left Florida .

I arrived MMA and stayed a while in Lagos. Right from the point of entry, the Immigration officers were asking for money. The toilet was atrociously bad with no water but I was too overjoyed to be bothered. At first I was super excited about just being in the country and had lots of fun. I overlooked a lot of the negativity and was open to everyone in general until people started to take advantage of me. After a couple of months the reality kicked in. I fell sick and the supposedly good hospital/ doctor experience was so below par I began to fear for my life.

I eventually went back to the U.S after a few months.

My overall take on Nigeria is that the people are actually good BUT the unpredictable and harsh economic conditions has created a tough environment to survive in. It doesn't matter how much money you have, the simple things we take for granted in the U.S cannot be purchased with money.

My cousin that lived in the United Kingdom sent some items to me to deliver to his wife.
Getting to dia house, I met the door locked so I try to check on dia neighbour for me to drop dos items. Actually I tried her line before coming but was switched off. While trying to move from dia own flat to the next flat, I heard someone moaning from the oza room, I paused but to my greatest surprise I discovered the voice is that of my cousin's wife, so I waited at the verandah for her to be tru. After an hour and few minute, she came out together with a man who happened to be my cousin's pal ( his best man during dia wedding).

He travelled out of country not upto seven months dis is happening, what will now happen if he stays for more years before the family join him?

So I'm serving in this organization and ended up being friends with this guy, we seem to always have something to talk about as we both read books and share an interest in politics. We will go see movies, go watch football and sometimes go bowling too.
After a short time we discovered we sort of started growing feelings for each other, I have not been dating for a year but he is in a relationship.
Now we are both feeling bad because his girlfriend is really a nice girl, at least based on stuffs that i 've heard about her from him, but he claims he cant understand why he is this attracted to me too, said all he knows is he can just be himself around me without any fear or worries about what i think of him.

We were living together for over a year in Dallas before we moved to different cities in the U.S. I found out about her sexcapades from her email which I happen to know the password without her knowing. I am still contemplating how to handle it because what she has done is horrible but she has been too good to me before now. I really love this girl and I know she loves me because she has made sacrifices that no other gf has ever made for me and cried a lot when we moved to separate cities. When we were in college in Texas, this girl used to support me morally, financially, spiritually and sexually. She sold her car at some point to help me pay off my tuition debts. Yes! she is that good. We were making plans for the future before this long distance thing happened out of necessity. I saw their erotic convos about their bleeping, her messages asking him to bleep her and vice versa, pictures of their private parts which they exchanged, hotel receipts, plane tickets to vacations, convos of how they are having a good time etc. I am so depressed and have had to see a psychologist because of this. I don't know how to handle this because of the way I found out and because I don't wanna loose her forever; besides this the girl is really any man's dreams cos she is very pretty, kind and intelligent even though she has a bad temper sometimes. It is partly my fault because for sometime I was not calling her as much but it was cos the things I was busy with not cos I was cheating or anything like that. I JUST HATE THIS SITUATION. I don't know how I can move on from here. I had thought I found the one for real but now this! She was all I wanted. Is it love carrying me through or am I being stupid?
