Yes you can but if you haven’t gotten your BRP, no one will employ you… The term time starts on your school resumption date, but any date before then, you can work without the restrictions of 20hr/week Lordfiido: Can one work full time in the one month before course start date?. That is, not limited to 20hr/wk during term time? |

You are very right about this.. That’s the case too in Wolverhampton justwise: No city in the UK without such prob especially when you have universities, bus and train stations located very close to town centres which is typical of UK cities apart from maybe London. |

Ahah!! Conditional offer keehhh When people with CAS are praying for quick VISA result… Did you receive an email from the school stating January 17th as the last day you can be allowed entry to UK as a student of UOW, and if you apply for an extension, you will be given a grace till 28th January…. Firstly, after all the conditions are met, it takes within 2 days to get an unconditional letter, then you have to book a Precas interview which I overheard they are not even giving any new dates presently. If you succeed in passing your interview, a minimum deposit of 3K needs to be paid (which I hope you won’t be using Nigeria banks for that, cos it will take forever before it’s processed). Once the school confirms your deposit, you can request your CAS and within 5 working days you might receive it… I hope you calculating those days…. Then the OGA patapata of them all (VISA) which you don’t even know when you will get that… Back to your question: Neco or Waec is acceptable in place of IELTS. I used NECO cyrusmillz: Hi bro, I just got a conditional offer from Wolverhampton. And one of the conditions is that I provide am academic IELTS, can this be substituted with waec/Neco?
Also I saw in the mail that the deposit is 3k, would I be asked to balance up before starting classes ? Thanks |

And SO?? If they meet you on the other thread, will you beat them? Highest thing you can do is Ignore their question or withhold your answer, and if you do, someone else will come to their rescue. Don’t feel too important, no man is indispensable. iboboyswag: You don't know simple things are hard for many people? Don't worry, just note the moniker. Good afternoon everyone!!! I got to Birmingham last night.
Mandatorily, I will have my day 2 test on Thursday and I hope I test negative so I can have access to things and be able to move around.
While at that, I would be needing your help (information) as to how I can secure an employment before my school resume, I think I might be busy during school period, I wouldn’t want anything to affect my primary assignment in the UK. I mean, what website do I need to visit, how do I go about it? I just need some temporary jobs to keep the body and soul together, I wouldn’t want to just sit at home. Please advice…
Thanks |

Contact the Africa Regional Manager, Yusuff or call the school number on the website. You can also send an email to the precas team, those informations are all on the school website. Be very fast about it. Adunni09: Yes. So, I have my unconditional offer since last month and I’ve booked for Pre-CAS interview but the only update I got is “You are on the waiting list”. I don’t know what to do because they said they are closing for the year next Friday. |

You can travel through Qatar airways. Qatar is NOT UAE, and UAE already reversed the ban this morning. Be like Nigeria is getting these countries by their balls now Pearlyfaze: Does this by anywhere means that one cannot use Qatar Airways to travel to the UK.

When you wanted to take out the money, you didn’t ask if there’s any consequence but now you are rushing upandan. Well if the money you took out didn’t affect your overall POF, you have nothing to worry about. Elvisfruit: Please I need help. I have like 8.5m in my bank account but my POF after deposit and paying additional tuition fee is about 7.4m. it's already matured but among the 28days, I did a debit of 1.4m out and immediately credited it back after like 1hour same day, so will that affect me in anyway. Please reply me as soon as possible. |

Thank you so much. I have a lot of work to do mehn…… I SHALL be Favored. LagosismyHome: It won't give you an edge... just know that and you find wisdom in it
However its good you know that and start preparing from beginning on how to tackle it. No problem without a solution.
Aprokodaughter just shared how she prepared so learn from that . Target some areas, look at the job description and see how your experience can mirror that on your cv and skills and how you can speak about it too .
You try and give it your best. Hopefully it all works out . No matter how hard an area is (in life generally) , you always still find success story |

The entry date should be on the Vignette inside your passport, and you cannot travel to the UK before that date. Canadaboyk: Can one travel anytime as soon he gets the visa? Or it has to be a month to resumption? School resumes feb 23rd and it states on the later of entry that expected entry is January 21st. Can I go earlier than that? Kindly answer for those who have travelled

Duly NOTED…. Once I get to the UK by nextweek, work don start be that… Still in Dubai waiting till 21st and I just heard UAE banned all international flights carrying Nigerian passport holders into UAE… Na the citizens go suffer this diplomatic war between UAE and UAR Only those people that are about to enter UAE will be affected… Buhari don spoil country finish mizGene: You are welcome. Get active on LinkedIn as well if you are not already. LOADS and LOADS of jobs are on there, fine tune your search and set up alerts. A good number of the jobs are "easy apply" too so making applications are less stressful.. Also do lots of interview simulations with friends (using the more common interview questions.) |
