Happy new year all. @George D,I was just wondering why this thread has not made the front page or better still,be directly under the technology section. Can we request the moderators to do that? |
bodejohn: Thanks all for the messages...Congrats man. Yeah you can very well sell the gen . My 5kva gen has been jobless for 2 yrs now. |
blink182: these your questions are unnecessary, moor already answered you. What is all these talk about psi, will you agree to pay a plumber with such high level of expertise? Will you agree to pay N10m more just to have expatriates flown in to do your walls and plumbing so that in the future you can easily change faulty plumbing or stick with status quo that is cost effective, within budget and have a labourer cheaply crack your wall to change pipes.Nothing wrong with concerns raised on pressure testing. 40 psi is less than 3bar. If its going to crack your Pipe when pressure testing, then you should nt be using it in the first place. Nice work segcymoor keep us updated. |
Aventures: In a case where client have phobia for conduit piping, there is a simple solution, though it may cost you a little more but not crazy amount per say! Increase your head room, and run all your pipes directly under the soffit of the slab just as shown in the wooden slab pics post by Trogun, then seal it off with any type of ceiling (POP, PVC, etc.) create a manhole at strategic point to access the ceiling for repairs. Externally you create a duct for all the pipes and seal the ducts off with removable fanciful screens so as not deface or affect the aesthetics of the structure.Nice Suggestions you have. |
Why not just google the Manufacturer website. Or look for a Lab Scientist that works in oil industry. |
When will nigerians stop glorifying mediocrities? Next its going to be the one that flies. |
How do you guarantee there will be no leak from the plumbing work after all the casting and plastering? |
Me i think all this cravings for private jets is borne out of fear of plane crash. They av seen pastors are not immune to plane crashes and have to take 'palliative' measures. Men of God are gradually becoming gods if men. |
Maple: Seriously, can Nigerians be this dumb?Idiocy is celebrated in this generation. |
megxo: ma "HADES N MINION" guy.........I think he needs to enter a 3rd character. ![]() |

I suspect too much gen. set vibrations on all the floors, although poor building design is the root cause. |
From all that have been said. Its simply not worth the trouble. Scraping, special detergent etc. Good old sink wud have to be sufficient for now. ![]() |
Someone tell me this is a joke. |
Missy_B: You just don't throw your plates into the dish washer after a meal. . .You first rinse off the particles in the plate.Haba, thats double work now. ![]() |
Thanks all. The power supply is no problem for me cost I have a solar hybrid system which provides uninterrupted power. Plumbing is a minor hurdle as well. I guess I have to visit an Lg shop to check the options they have . . sophy09: I don't think the dishwasher will clean all the eba, fufu, amala pots. You still have to do that with your hands. The thing about dishwasher is that it depends on the soap you are using and most times it does not wash well.My concerns exactly. ![]() |
I recommend Arms and the man by Bernard Shaw to anyone who wants a good dose of humour. |
If its that good at washing, I wonder why you hardly see people use it in Nigeria. I mean this is a technology that's been around 30yrs+. |
I think its mashed up and mixed with normal meat to make burgers and other food processing requiring meat. |
Akara fried with vegetable oil. |
Am just thinking of buying one but I want to be fully convinced it can wash my plates and Cutleries well after cooking typical Nigerian dishes. Anyone with practical experience on usage in Nigeria? |
Nigeria generally has a poor toilet culture. I wud rather shotput than use those stink holes in naija schools |
Fluke of the century. |
