Nothing wrong with fertility test. However I think If you include that don't leave out an HIV test too. I don't think that a woman should be pregnant before marriage but a test is ok. But also let that fertility test be on both parties, male and female.

She needs counseling. As a matter of fact, that should have been done before marriage. This is a very deep rooted psychologial issue and it needs to be taken care of in order for her to become open to her husband. Basically to undo what her mother has bombarded her with over the years/
