The British media and the public knew Mayweather

All the British bookmakers rated Mayweather
as favourite at even money while Hatton was only

Hatton is a light welterweight who had struggled

I'll love Hatton to win it . But Mayweather is
just a fantastic fighter. The finest in the world
at the moment. The way he outwitted Oscar De
La Hoya was just special.

Fabregas is a central midfielder who has the vision to give an entire team a visionary approach to wining any game, he defends, controls midfield and even scores enough goals to win it clearly for me.
I've seen some of messi's misses and they are awesome to watch, a 3 yr old should score from such close range. Messi has good pace but no vision, he can only operate when the ball is worked over to him, he lacks natural height and cannot be an all rounder from that point of view.

I can't believe people are comparing the two.

Club loyalty aside, ask any neutral anywhere
in the world who is greater.

Who is getting nominated for European player

Steve McClaren surely had to go.

And Brian Barwick should follow him through
the door. He should carry most of the blame.

Firstly, he made a mess of the selection process
by employing a manager before the world cup.

Manager's are chosen after major tournaments
and not before. Other countries had the sense
to wait till after the world cup.

Then we saw how he was running all over the
place looking for Scolari before eventually employing
McClaren.

Why McLaren for heaven's sake?

This is a manager whose position as 'Boro manager
was already undermined by Gareth Southgate's
outbursts.

I felt he should have been sacked after the Macedonian
game because it was obvious he was clueless.

The only positive thing he did was recalling David
Beckham even though many were against it.

I like McLaren (I like everyone involved Man Utd's
treble season) but sentiments apart, there is no way
he can move England forward.

And the whole English public need a "mental overhaul"
about how football should be played.

I hate it when they make statements like "Bomb forward,
Get the crowd excited, Get the crosses in, Get a big man
in front, Get bodies around him, Show passion etc."

You ain't going to win anything like that. Football is
played on the floor these days and you must be able to
string passes together.

And they should stop the noise about foreign payers. Just
as Crouch and co are not starters for their clubsides, so is
Eduardo not a starter at Arsenal.

They should go for Jose although I don't like him. But Jose
is a man that can make and instant impact and shake
things up. Might not be a great planner and builder but
they don't need no building.

2010 is the target and I reckon Jose can deliver.

Go for Jose, and make me his assistant!

That is the only way forward.
