Hi aeon, I've never participated in any form of online data entry job so i don't consider myself as an expert on the topic. But i think this site might be of help. http://www.jobbankusa.com/workhomejobs/april25/online_data_entry_jobs_.html Please note that i'm not recommending them so do your due dilligence before you do anything. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Howdy all, I've been away from my system for a couple of days. I had to hook up with Ewen Chia of secretaffiliateweapon.com Ewen is the chap who earned $1.5m (yes that is one million five hundred thousand dollars) in less than 48hrs with his super affiliate cloning program. I met him this past weekend and learnt a lot from him. See the picture below. http://akinalabi.com/with-ewen.html Now i'm back but i met a commotion on this thread. I think there is no need for all that. Let us just concentrate on the aspect of sharing our internet marketing knowledge. So let's get back on track. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = = |
kennyuche, There are many ways to advertise online. Ezine ads, google ads, article marketing, doing a press release, froogle etc. You'll need a foreign address if you want to register for programs where they do not accept Nigerians like clickbank.com Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi kennyuche, Simply set up a website and write a "wicked" sales letter to help sell your book. If you've got different books on different topics, i suggest you set up a different site for each book. If they are all related, you can set up just a site and sell them there. You'll need a merchant account so you can accept card payments. If you convert any of your books to ebook i suggest you use clickbank.com, i use them although you'll need a foreign address. If you don't want to convert them, i'll suggest you use 2checkout.com Remember that after setting everything up, you'll have to advertise your sites online. All the best. Hi Bola, You asked if i was a warrior. Do you mean the "warrior forum?" If that's what you mean, yes, i am. Let's hear what you've got. All the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi kitaun, I don't really understand your question. Do you want to ghostwrite for people? If yes, you can go to ideamarketers.com and sign up for an account. When you log in, there is a link that asks if you are a ghostwriter. You can move on from there. But sincerely speaking, you'll get paid peanuts for your efforts. If you're a prolific writer, why not use it to your own advantage by creating your own products and services. If i didn't get your question right, please post it again in details. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hello again Bola, I totally agree with you. That's why i said internet marketing is "any legal venture that brings you money online" The problem i usually have with people starting online is that they want to sell "how to make money online products" It's just not right. You can be a top online marketer without having anything to do with "how to make money online" Those are the kinds of people Yanik Silver usually line up to talk at his world famous underground online seminar. I feel you my friend. Keep up the good work. I wish you the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi bolaoni, IM (i assume you mean internet marketing) simply means marketing goods and services online. Then if you want to be broad, you'll say any legal venture that can bring you profits online. IM is such a broad topic because new concepts keep springing up everyday. You can talk of traffic, advertising, info products and so on. You can now start breaking each one up. For instance, traffic can be broken down to SEO, PPC, Viral marketing etc. You can break advertising down to Ezine ads, banner ads, article marketing. Just don't get overwhelmed. Pick one or two niches and pursue it aggressively. Personally, i sell information products and i spice it up with affiliate marketing and a bit of adsense. All the best. Akin Alabi htt://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi obua, It depends on what you want to shop. Also you have to pay a different charge for the delivery of your product. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.epayassist.com = = |
inoo, Thanks for your compliments. But you did not mention what you want me to do. I decided to start responding to people through this platform so that i don't have to send mails individually to people. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
beelyjay45, If you want to start marketing afresh, the first thing i'll advise you to do is learn as much as you can from as many FREE sources as possible. An example of such free sources can be found at my site at http://www.ecashnigeria.com It's after learning that you will decide whether to go into affiliate marketing, adsense or what have you. But let me tell you how i started in January 2003. I was creating information products and selling them without a website, through emails and free autoresponders. You can discover how to do it on this page on my site. ==> http://www.ecashnigeria.com/internet-marketing-without-a-website.html I wish you all the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi, I own a payment solutions company called http://www.epayassist.com I've helped countless Nigerians make payment online. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.epayassist.com = = = |
Hi saintsam, You've asked a question that is so vast that i can't answer it in a single post. Infact, one whole book cannot be enough to cover everything. For instance, i have an ebook on affiliate marketing, another one on adsense and so on. As per requiring capital to start, the answer is a BIG yes. The amount you'll require will however determine how big or small you start. PLEASE don't listen to anyone that says you can succeed with ZERO capital. I've got free internet marketing articles you can learn from. ==> http://www.akinalabi.com/free-articles.html You can also learn from my FREE monthly internet marketing ezine. You can sign up using the link below. ==> http://www.ecashnigeria.com/my-free-internet-marketing-ezine.html Remember they are all FREE!!!. You've got nothing to lose but everything to gain. All the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
Hi beelyjay45, I assume you're talking about the offer where i'm going to write the contents of people's squeeze pages and autoresponder messages. It seems a bit pricey because i'll have to write for each and every one that takes up the offer. To be honest with you, $197 is a BIG bargain and you know what, my assistant is furious with me for pricing it so low. I remember borrowing N15,000 to attend a seminar in Lagos in 2002, and i was travelling from Ibadan to Lagos for the 5 day event. Now everything has paid off. That's why i always say internet marketing is not for the faint hearted. It's like offline business. I know that's why a lot of people will rather opt for schemes like randomnizers and paid to read emails. If you're on a shoe string budget, my "Average Joe Ezine" ebook can be of help. It will teach you how you can start your own affiliate marketing business. See it at http://www.AverageJoeAffiliate.com/index.html Before i forget, the $197 offer has been snapped up with more people practically begging me to take their money. I wish you all the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
Latest Edit ========= I just read through this thread and I saw that Seun has deleted my website links. I'm not complaining though. It's his forum and he has the right to do it the way he wants. I suggest we close the thread. Will be better if it's deleted. Akin ===== ===== Howdy all, Since i started posting on this forum, a lot of people have been asking me lots of questions about making money online. I do my best to respond to all emails i recieve but sometimes i get swamped to the extent that i don't read some of such mails. Also, there are times i respond to the same question over and over again to differnet people. Then an idean struck me. I think anyone who's got an internet marketing related question should post it here (by replying) this post so i can answer. That way, everyone can learn and there won't be any need for asking questions that have been treated here. Questions can be on any aspect of internet marketing. It can be on ebook publishing, adsense, affiliate program, reprint rights, list building or what have you. I look forward to answering your questions. All the best. |
Hi syber, Thanks for your post and i'm flattered. Of course i know Matt and i'm glad i'm getting reviews the world over despite coming from Africa. I won't advise you to try paypal from Nigeria. I know some people do it but i won't advise anyone to do so. You can do without paypal to succeed online. Just move on without them for now. Don't make them your stumbling block to online success. All the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
You're right wande, my IP does not show Nigeria and that's because i'm not browsing from Nigeria. As regards my paypal account, i never log into it anytime i'm in Nigeria even if i'm going to be staying for months. If i've got things to do in it, i wait until i get back to the UK before logging in. I just can't risk losing my account. So wande, send money into another person's paypal and get paid for it. That's a simple way to do it. And egoldman. I'm fine. What about you? All the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
For the first time, i totally agree with egoldman. Please and please, anyone using paypal in Nigeria find a way to clear it. Paypal "sat" on my friend's $17,000 because he was logging in from Nigeria and that almost put him out of business. He went to the US embassy and all that but nothing came out of it. And wande. You don't need to be a verified member before you can move money out. I assume you don't have mega money in there. If you'll sell at a resonable price, i can buy. All the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
Hi, I totally agree with daretayo. Use clickbank. Although they do not accept Nigerians, you can use a US or UK address. As per paypal, forget it. Even if you use a foreign address they'll still find you out. Paypal "sat" on my friend's $17,000 so be very careful. If you didn't know me before, I'm one of the very few Nigerians who sell ebooks on clickbank. I sell my book on affiliate marketing for $27 and i've not had any problem so far. I wish you all the best. Akin Alabi EDITED: 2CO is getting better all the time. They can even process paypal payments for you without you having a paypal account. And they will even provide you with a debit card where they will deposit your earnings. It's beautiful. Akin |
Hello everyone, Note: This is not a sales pitch. I'm not asking you to buy anything. As you probably know, some people make good money online every single day. If you are one of us, I say congratulations. If not, then I urge you to evaluate your position. I've found out that there are (3) three groups of Internet marketers. Determine the group or groups you belong and make the necessary adjustments. 1) THE WATCHERS. The watchers are those who monitor the goings online. They will be the first to inform you that Yanik Silver is about to hold his second underground online seminar or Michael Cheney has just launched his Adsense Videos. They know what is happening in the Internet marketing world but ask them what they their business is online, they freeze. 2) THE BUYERS. These are those that buy all the products on offer everywhere online. Ebooks, softwares, membership sites and so on. Their hard drive is begining to gather dust from all the ebooks on it. They spend their hard earned money everyday. Sometimes they read the products and most times they don't touch it at all. They suffer from information overload. 3) THE SELLERS. These are the ones we call "gurus" online. Every now and then, they churn out new products and we all buy. We hear and read their success stories and silently wish to be like them. That's the group where you'll find the likes of Yanik Silver, Jim Edwards, Charlie Page and lots more. So which group do you belong? I suggest you belong to the three groups. It's important to monitor the ongoings online, it's equally important to buy quality information products, but it's extremely important to sell online. You've got to sell online. Whether through affiliate programs, selling reprint rights or creating your own products. The lesson is you've got to sell. I hope you learnt a thing a two from this piece. Thanks for reading and I wish you the best online. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
Hi zogo, I've got a big advice for you. Please de-emphasize the issue of money. Firstly, think about building an internet business then the money will flow. True, we all want to make money and that's why we are all online. But build a business first by creating value. Because of this "make change online" rush, we have people parading "yeye" schemes like paid to eat and paid to sleep, So you really have to start thinking about building an internet business. I teach that with my free ezine on my site. See it ==> http://www.ecashnigeria.com I hope this piece did not dissapoint you. All the best, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
Hi goldenceo, To get google ads, simply register for google adsense. Go to google.com/ads and click on adsense on the right side. There you can register. Google will review your site and start providing you ads within a week if you qualify. You should qualify as long as your blog is up and running. Google will provide you with HTML codes you will place on your site. The ads will automatically match the contents of your site. I wish you all the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
Hi zogo, There are two major ways to make money through google. Google Adwords and Google Adsense. Adsense refers to streaming ads google provide for you on your site like the ones you can see on this site. You get paid everytime those ads gets clicked. Since you don't have a website, you cannot do adsense. As per adwords, they are the small ads coloured blue you see on the right side of google searches. For example, if you search for the term "web hosting" you will get two sets of result. The major one on the left and the ones on the right. You can place those ads to promote affiliate products so you get paid for every sale you make. Please note that you pay google everytime your ad gets clicked. But you will be the one to set how much you want to be paying. I never advise anyone to do adwords without a website. I'll prefer a situation where you'll have at least a squeeze page where you'll direct your traffic to before sending them to your affiliate offers. That way, you will be building your opt in list you can market to over and over again. I wish you all the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
Hi Seun, Let me tell you why i want to give out my secrets to strangers and for free. I'm going to be honest here, If i give out info on how to make some money online, i'll have more people out there who will respect me and still buy from me in future. Let me give you an instance. Not too long ago, i trained 5 Nigerians for free on how to sell information products online. When they started the business and started profiting, they never hesitated to buy my backend products later, and some of those back ends cost as much as N25k Now everybody wins, They learn from me for free, i sell more of my backend products, i gain more credibility as they all give me testimonials everytime i launch new products. You see? Then kodewrita, When we talk about affiliate programs, who is talking about 18 cents. What 18 cents? We are talking about good margins from $10 to as much as $100 per sale. Come on. Just yesterday, i sold 2 copies of the "affiliate project X" and i netted $87.20 in the process. If you consider that that ebook is one of the numerous products i promote online, you'll understand what i'm talking about. All the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
Hi all, Although this message is meant for Seun, every "nairalander" can still benefit from it. Seun, you mentioned in one of your posts that it's easier selling richard cards on the streets of Lagos that promoting affiliate programs. You see, I'm one of those that drum it into the ears of Nigerian online weakth seekers that there is nothing like easy money online. All these schemes being promoted here and there are just plain garbage. But if you know about affiliate marketing very well, you'll know that you can do it if you know how to. You're highly respected in this forum as the "oga patapata" so such comments can only discourage those that genuinely want to learn the ropes. I make money everyday with affiliate programs so doing it to me is not an impossibility. All the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
Hi, You can register a paypal account at their site paypal.com To get a US address, just go to google and type in US forwarding addresses and click search. Alternatively, if you've got a friend or relative in the UK, you can use their address. I can help you fund it when you've opened it. But be very careful as paypal checks on the IP of their users. Make sure you never log into your paypal account from a connection whose IP reveals Nigeria. All the best. Akin Alabi http://www.epayassist.com |
That's quite simple. You credit my paypal account and i'll pay you in Naira. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.epayassist.com |
It amazes me that Nigerians are hoping to make money online through get paid to read, get paid to click, get paid to eat and all those nonsense. As i always say, you can earn a few cents from it but you can NEVER build a successful online empire from it. The secret to succeeding online is by creating and monetizing your own products and services. Ensure you do the following to succeed. - Craete your own products - Build your optin list. - Promote other people's products for a commission - Build websites - Use some adsense - Buy and resell reprint rights or use them as gifts for your website visitors. - Advertise your websites continously. And more. One more thing. There is nothing like make millions online without spending a kobo while sleeping. If that's what you're looking for, then online business is not for you. The truth is you have to WORK HARD to succeed online. You have to spend time and some money to run it. I put in a lot of hard work to create my profit pulling websites like http://www.akinalabi.com as well as http://www.averagejoeaffiliate.com Even my jokes website http://www.laughtergalore.com no be joke. A word is enough for the wise. All the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com |
Howdie all. This topic is really interesting and here is my own simple solution to the whole fiasco. Before you allow someone to show you how to make money online the person must prove he earns it as well. For instance if nairaland owner (Seun) says he wants to teach you how to create forums and monetize it with adsense, then you better listen to him. We all see that he is a doer and not a talker. As an internet marketer myself, i sell only products that deals with the things i've done. Do your due dilligence and don't throw your hard earned money away so easily. All the best. Akin Alabi |
The last book i read is the latest in the Rich Dad Series called Before you quit your job. |
