Most of these ebooks you want to sell do
not come with resale rights so how come
you want to sell them?

And don't tell me you'll be ordering them
through your affiliate links.

That's illegal my friend. Don't make these

Can you please stop?

BusinessWe All Need A Push! by akinalabi(op): 7:16pm On Jan 18, 2007
Hi all,

Today, I want to tell you a story.

Once upon a time, there lived a very rich man. He was
so rich that he could afford anything he fancied. But the
rich man had only one child. A female child. A beautiful
one at that.

When the rich man's daughter grew up, many suitors
came along the way asking for her hand in marriage.
That was not a surprise though. She was every young
man's dream. Beautiful, rich with the world at her feet.

Because of the number of suitors coming her way, she
became confused and spoilt for choice. She decided to
solicit the help of her father. Her father agreed to help
her.

The rich man sent out a message to all her daughter's
suitors informing them to gather at his mansion on a
particular date. In the message, he said he would carry
out a test for all of them and that the winner of the test
will become his daughter's husband. Not only that, he
would give the lucky man the sum of one million dollars.

On the appointed day, twelve able bodied young men
gathered. They were all eager to emerge victorious so
they could marry the rich man's daughter and also pocket
$1million.

Then the rich man announced what the test was : all the
"contestants" were to swim across his swimming pool
and that the first person that comes out at the other end
wins the contest.

All the men agreed it was an easy test and they all got
prepared.

Then came the moment. The rich man asked them to get set
and dive into the swimming pool at the count of three.

Just as he was about to count up to three, two massive
crocodiles sprang out from the water. All the men were taken
aback. They retreated and slowly, they exchanged glances of
fear and depression.

Then the unexpected happened.

One of the young men jumped into the pool. Everyone was
shocked. He began to swim desperately. One of the crododiles
approached him, he ducked. He swam past the second and he
frantically reached the other end of the pool where he was
pulled up.

The rich man was glad. The girl was jumping for joy. Everyone
hailed his bravery.

"Congratulations my dear boy, you've just won the hand of my
daughter in marriage". The rich man announced to the admiration
of everyone.

The winner, still panting replied, " Sir, I'm no longer interested
in marrying your daughter".

The rich man was surprised, but he calmed down and said, "you've
been great today and you've also won $1million and I'm going to
write your check right now."

The young man replied again, "Sir, I'm not interested in your
daughter, neither am I interested in your money!"

The girl was dissapointed and the rich man was getting impatient.
He then asked the young man, "if you don't want my daughter and
my money, what do you want?"

The young man said: "I want to know the person that pushed me into the pool!!!"

What can you deduce from this story? Don't you think a lot of us find
ourselves in such a situation?

There are times when we see obstacles (crocodiles) on our ways to
achieving great things in business. But due to fear of being eaten up,
we don't take action. Deep down in us, we know that if we face these
obstacles, we have the capabilities of going past them, like the young
man did.

So what are you waiting for? Do something about that dream you have
in you and you'll discover that those crododiles are toothless. So push
yourself and always surround yourself with people that will always push
you.

Thanks for your time.

BusinessRemove Your Blogger Bars Now! by akinalabi(op): 4:07am On Jan 18, 2007
Just a quick tip here for all blog owners using
blogger.

I noticed that a lot of people still have blogger
bars at the top of their blogs. This looks
unprofessional to me.

See my blog at http://talkpremiership..com
and you'll notice there are no blogger bars there.

Here is quick way to fix it.

Step 1: Log into your account

Step 2: Click on "layout". Then click on "edit HTML" When
you get there, you'll see lots of codes in the "edit template"
box. On the 8th line of those codes, you'll see <head>

Step 3: Click after  <head> and press enter on your
keyboard.

Step 4: Paste the following codes:

<style type='text/css'>
#navbar-iframe {
height: 0px;
visibility: hidden;
display: none;
}
</style>

Step 5: Click "Save Template"

That's it. Check out your blog and the bar must
have vanished.

Hope that helped.

Hi,

Martins goal for me was the best.

What audacity to try that!

You could see the concentration of the defender. I
think it was Dawson (not too sure now)

I'm sure he was saying to himself "go on shoot
from there, we've got the scoring openings
covered, the only angle left is an impossible
angle, go on shoot from there"

And he shot from there!!!

Absolutely magnificient!

SportsOba Goal! by akinalabi(op): 8:12pm On Jan 15, 2007
Hello again,

I've never doubted the abilities of Newcastle United's
striker, Obafemi Martins. And I was confident he would
succeed at Newcastle when Glen Roeder signed him
from Inter Milan for £10 million.

What I wasn't sure was how quickly he would settle in.
We all know how difficult it is to adjust to life in the
premiership. The pace and power of the English game
is usually a problem for newcomers.

Even multi million pound Chelsea signing Andrei Shevchenko
is struggling to adapt. Didier Drogba was a laughing
stock in his first season but he's the real deal at the
moment. We also remember that King Thierry Henry did
not score in his first dozen matches for Arsenal.

But not Obafemi Martins! Full of pace, power and skills,
he's been an instant hit with the fans of Newcastle,
the toon army. And make no mistake about it. The
"toon army" have watched Alan Shearer (who to me
is the greatest sriker in the premiership ever) for a
decade so they know a good striker when they see
one.

Martin's goal against Totteham was an absolute
stunner. His previous seven goals in the premiership
have been great. Not only that, his pace has been
giving the opposition a lot of headaches.

Ride on Martins. The sky is the begining.

Hi stevik,

Your adsense revenue is reading zero because
your website visitors are not clicking on them.

How much of traffic do you have on your website?

The higher the traffic, the likelihood more people
will click on your ads.

Google pays out once your earnings reach $100
except if you choose the option where they
can hold it until your earnings get to a set amount.

About affiliate marketing, I have an ebook you
can learn a lot from.

-> http://www.averagejoeaffiliate.com/index.html

I explained pay per click in the book.

Adeoba, do not click on your ads. Google will find
out. Get busy with building your business and you
won't even remember that. It's unprofessional and
bad.

Remember, the money is someone's pay per click
campaign.

Hi afeez123,

I know what you're talking about. It has
happened to many people I've consulted for.

Yes, Nigerians do make money online!

There are many questions you should ask yourself.

1) Are the products you're promoting hot sellers?

2) Do you do a review of the products before
sending your traffic them to the products you're
promoting?

3) Is your traffic targeted?

4) Do you track your campaigns?

5) Do you build a list?

I need to see your website before I can go into
further specifics.

Don't give up. You've done well to start something.

Forget schemes like paid to read emails . You can't
build a business that way.

Just keep it going.

As regards your cheques from adsense, simply
deposit it into your domiciliary account here in

set up a ready to collect order web page, get
traffic to it and cash your cheques.

Hi danielng,

Your question makes me believe that you
believe online business is something you
put a certain amount of money in and then
recieve dividends from automatically. Something
like the stock market.

I know a lot of people believe that because of
those promising riches with HYIPs, randomnizers
and the rest.

That is not how it works and I want you to change
your mindset.

You see, internet marketing is just like doing business
in the real (offline) world. You create or provide
a product or service and then find a way to monetize
it.

You can say you want to create information products
to sell online. You can start a blog or forum and
monetize it with adsense. You can decide to be promoting
products on clickbank through google adwords. And
you can combine all of them.

Build it like you're building an offline business. You'll
have issues like low sales, too much expenses,
staff hiring (if you get big), staff firing, investors and
joint venture partners and so on.

Change your mindset, then begin to learn how the
internet works.

BusinessMake 2007 Your Best Year Ever! by akinalabi(op): 3:25am On Jan 03, 2007
Hello everyone,

Can you confidently say the year 2007 will be your
best year ever? Do you think you can achieve all you
desire for yourself this year? Do you believe the new
year will bring you the success you deserve?

Lots and lots of questions.

If you ask me, I'll confidently tell you that everyone can
achieve all they desire if they know what to do and how
to go about it. I've compiled a few tips that will help you
achieve all your fondest new year dreams.

1. Determine your goals for the year.

A lot of people go through life without determining what
they actually want from it. They just work hard, live by the
day and hope everything goes on fine.

That's a surefire way to fail! You have to determine what
you actually want in life and in this instance, what you want
to achieve by the time the year ends in eleven months time. I
don't know what your goals are but you have to determine it.

2. Write them down.

This will sound ridiculous to a lot of people but it actually works.
Write down your goals for the year and look at it everyday. You
can paste it on your bedroom wall, dressing mirror or what have
you. You can put it in your wallet and replace it everytime it gets
old an dirty.

3. Work towards your goal.

How you'll work towards your goal will be determined by the nature
of your goal. If your goal is to pass your examinations, you'll need
to study dilligently for it. If you want to start a business, you'll need
to learn how the kind of business you want to go into is done. Make
sure you do something everyday that leads you to your goal.

4. Don't spend your time; invest it.

"Use" your time doing things that will help you achieve your goals.
The sheer amount of time we waste doing irrelevant things is simple
outrageous.

Before you do anything, ask yourself if it will help you achieve your
goals. If it will not, do something that will. There is always a book to
read, a seminar to attend, a business to start and so on. Cut your TV
habits, sleeping habits, and other time wasting habits. Your time is
precious so use it wisely.

5. Be persisitent.

This is very important. A setback during the year should not be allowed
to derail you. Being afraid of failure is a sure way to actually fail. There
is no shame in failure. It's not being able to get up and bounce back
that is shameful. Instead of giving up, learn from your mistakes and
move on. Remember experience is the best teacher.

I strongly believe these tips will help you achieve what you want for
yourself this year. They are short but power packed. I'll be using them
as well and I hope to exchange ideas with you as the year rolls on.

Feel free to drop your comments. I'll see you next week.

I wish you all the best.

SportsRe: Nigerian Football League (nigerian Premier League) by akinalabi(m): 11:04am On Dec 29, 2006
You're spot on about the state of our league.

I've been attending football matches in Nigeria
since 1992 and it's unfortunate it's degenerated
so badly.

I remember vivdly how shooting stars of Ibadan
used line up very good players like Ajibade Babalade,
Duke Udi, Dotun Alatishe, Felix Owolabi and a
host of others.

Not anymore and it's quite a shame.

Now i've been proviledged to watch European
teams real live and visiting Old Trafford is now
a piece of cake for me.

With this experience, i can confidently say just
two(2) things will make our league very okay.

==> The pitch.

The FA should make it a must that all pitches
must be well laid with lush green grass. This
will aid the smooth passage of play.

==> Media Coverage.

My God! How can we get good coverage when
some TV stations use just one camera to cover
matches.

It is great coverage that makes exciting leagues
like the premiership look so good.

If you've attended the games before, you'll see
that they are more beautiful on TV.

I just love attending because of the fantastic
atmosphere, and i'm sure that's what motivates
other attendees as well.

I strongly believe these two factors will go a long
way in catapulting the standard of our dear league.

Hi all,

I really believe this season belongs to Manchester United.

We are playing brilliantly, scoring goals at will, tight defece,
and in Christiano Ronaldo, we have the best young player
in the world.

Also we proved against Wigan that our squad is not as thin
as a lot of people claim. Even Chelsea appear thin despite
their financial muscle.

They are struggling just because John Terry and and Petr
Chec are injured. But we should remeber that Arsenal are
without Gallas, Henry, Eboue and so on.

Who agrees with me that United can go all the way?

WebmastersRe: How Do You Drive Traffic To Your Site? by akinalabi(m):
Hi luckynzo,

Let me tell you the method i use in
promoting my own websites.

Let's categorize it into 2 categories.

The free techniques and the paid ones.

See the free techniques:

1. Article writing and submission
2. Use of affiliates (you can use that if you
have your own product)
3. Write a press release
4. Comment on other blogs
5. Start your own blog
6. Participate in forums like this
7. Traffic exchange
8. Link exchange
9. Giving testimonials

Here are the paid ones i use:

1. Ezine advertising
2. Google adwords
3. Other PPC's
4. MSN adcenter (it's getting hotter daily)
5. Co registration leads.

I must admit that these techniques are not
the only traffic generation techniques
availaible.

But they are the ones I USE.

I use them for my websites like

Many people can give you tips they have never
used but i can only tell you what i use

Hi ibkn,

Thanks for your post.

My busy schedule these days has made
it impossible to regularly answer questions
here.

I've been busy creating a new product. See
it at http://akinalabi.com/resale-right-riches.html

I hardly sleep these days.

That's why i said it's a lie when people say
you can make big money online without
spending time and money.

And thanks to bolaoni, he's kept the thread
alive. Thanks mate.

As per your question ibkn, I used to create
turnkey websites for people in the past but
not anymore.

The reasons are numerous, but i'll tell you
the main reason.

You see, the package used to go for around
25k to 40k. After setting it up, i'll hand it over
to the person, they'll go to bed.

Instead of going out to advertise their site
through the methods i recommend, they
just expect money to pop out from their
computers.

And the internet doesn't work that way.

They then turn around to accuse me of
ripping them off. And that really annoys me.

So i stopped.

But if i get an assurance from you that
you'll work hard after i hand a system
over to you, then i can create one for you.

Paypal is not the only way you can receive
payment online.

We have clickbank (although you need a foreign
address as well), paydotcom.com, 2checkout.com
and others.

Don't allow the issue of paypal prevent you
from succeeding online.

Just like in any aspect of business, there will
always be reasons why you will not progress.

It's now left to you to give up or go past those
obstacles.

I did not have a paypal account until after 3 years
of marketing online.

Come on mate, you can do it.

I wish you all the best.

Hi kitaun,

Thanks a lot for appreciating the little
i'm doing.

I try as much as possible to help Nigerians
start and profit from their own internet
business.

Keep the questions rolling in. There are
lots to talk about online.

List building, affiliate marketing, adsense,
reprint rights, email marketing, PPC,
ezine advertising, information product
marketing and lots more.

Cheers,

Akin Alabi
