Hi all, I believe everyone here knows Robert Kiyosaki, the best selling author of Rich Dad Poor Dad. I stumbled on this cool video on youtube where he was teaching his cash flow quadrant. I couldn't resist uplaoding it on to my blog for you. -> http://www.akinalabi..com Hope you'll find it valuable. Cheers, http://www.akinalabi..com = = |
Most of these ebooks you want to sell do not come with resale rights so how come you want to sell them? And don't tell me you'll be ordering them through your affiliate links. That's illegal my friend. Don't make these oyinbos give Nigerians a bad name. Can you please stop? Akin Alabi http://akinalabi..com http://ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi all, Today, I want to tell you a story. Once upon a time, there lived a very rich man. He was so rich that he could afford anything he fancied. But the rich man had only one child. A female child. A beautiful one at that. When the rich man's daughter grew up, many suitors came along the way asking for her hand in marriage. That was not a surprise though. She was every young man's dream. Beautiful, rich with the world at her feet. Because of the number of suitors coming her way, she became confused and spoilt for choice. She decided to solicit the help of her father. Her father agreed to help her. The rich man sent out a message to all her daughter's suitors informing them to gather at his mansion on a particular date. In the message, he said he would carry out a test for all of them and that the winner of the test will become his daughter's husband. Not only that, he would give the lucky man the sum of one million dollars. On the appointed day, twelve able bodied young men gathered. They were all eager to emerge victorious so they could marry the rich man's daughter and also pocket $1million. Then the rich man announced what the test was : all the "contestants" were to swim across his swimming pool and that the first person that comes out at the other end wins the contest. All the men agreed it was an easy test and they all got prepared. Then came the moment. The rich man asked them to get set and dive into the swimming pool at the count of three. Just as he was about to count up to three, two massive crocodiles sprang out from the water. All the men were taken aback. They retreated and slowly, they exchanged glances of fear and depression. Then the unexpected happened. One of the young men jumped into the pool. Everyone was shocked. He began to swim desperately. One of the crododiles approached him, he ducked. He swam past the second and he frantically reached the other end of the pool where he was pulled up. The rich man was glad. The girl was jumping for joy. Everyone hailed his bravery. "Congratulations my dear boy, you've just won the hand of my daughter in marriage". The rich man announced to the admiration of everyone. The winner, still panting replied, " Sir, I'm no longer interested in marrying your daughter". The rich man was surprised, but he calmed down and said, "you've been great today and you've also won $1million and I'm going to write your check right now." The young man replied again, "Sir, I'm not interested in your daughter, neither am I interested in your money!" The girl was dissapointed and the rich man was getting impatient. He then asked the young man, "if you don't want my daughter and my money, what do you want?" The young man said: "I want to know the person that pushed me into the pool!!!" What can you deduce from this story? Don't you think a lot of us find ourselves in such a situation? There are times when we see obstacles (crocodiles) on our ways to achieving great things in business. But due to fear of being eaten up, we don't take action. Deep down in us, we know that if we face these obstacles, we have the capabilities of going past them, like the young man did. So what are you waiting for? Do something about that dream you have in you and you'll discover that those crododiles are toothless. So push yourself and always surround yourself with people that will always push you. Thanks for your time. Akin Alabi http://akinalabi..com = = |
Just a quick tip here for all blog owners using blogger. I noticed that a lot of people still have blogger bars at the top of their blogs. This looks unprofessional to me. See my blog at http://talkpremiership..com and you'll notice there are no blogger bars there. Here is quick way to fix it. Step 1: Log into your account Step 2: Click on "layout". Then click on "edit HTML" When you get there, you'll see lots of codes in the "edit template" box. On the 8th line of those codes, you'll see <head> Step 3: Click after <head> and press enter on your keyboard. Step 4: Paste the following codes: <style type='text/css'> #navbar-iframe { height: 0px; visibility: hidden; display: none; } </style> Step 5: Click "Save Template" That's it. Check out your blog and the bar must have vanished. Hope that helped. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi LoverBwoy, You're right. Adding videos will spice things up. I've added the video of the goal on my blog. I'll add more as time goes on. See it here -> http://talkpremiership..com Cheers, Akin Alabi http://talkpremiership..com = = |
Hi Bola, I've replied your email. Hope you've gotten it. This your thread is da bomb o. Traffic is a topic that gives a lot of people headaches (and that includes me!) I hope people will take advantage of it. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hello kanugab, Thanks for your enquiry. Which of my books do you want to buy? Let me know so I can tell you how you can purchase them in Naira. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
I took another look at Martin's goal against spurs and I couldn't help but marvel. It's a stunner. I had to uplaod it on to my blog. -> http://talkpremiership..com Oba Goal! Cheers, Akin Alabi = = |
Hi, Martins goal for me was the best. What audacity to try that! You could see the concentration of the defender. I think it was Dawson (not too sure now) I'm sure he was saying to himself "go on shoot from there, we've got the scoring openings covered, the only angle left is an impossible angle, go on shoot from there" And he shot from there!!! Absolutely magnificient! Akin Alabi http://talkpremiership..com = = |
Hello again, I've never doubted the abilities of Newcastle United's striker, Obafemi Martins. And I was confident he would succeed at Newcastle when Glen Roeder signed him from Inter Milan for £10 million. What I wasn't sure was how quickly he would settle in. We all know how difficult it is to adjust to life in the premiership. The pace and power of the English game is usually a problem for newcomers. Even multi million pound Chelsea signing Andrei Shevchenko is struggling to adapt. Didier Drogba was a laughing stock in his first season but he's the real deal at the moment. We also remember that King Thierry Henry did not score in his first dozen matches for Arsenal. But not Obafemi Martins! Full of pace, power and skills, he's been an instant hit with the fans of Newcastle, the toon army. And make no mistake about it. The "toon army" have watched Alan Shearer (who to me is the greatest sriker in the premiership ever) for a decade so they know a good striker when they see one. Martin's goal against Totteham was an absolute stunner. His previous seven goals in the premiership have been great. Not only that, his pace has been giving the opposition a lot of headaches. Ride on Martins. The sky is the begining. Akin Alabi http://talkpremiership..com = = |
Hi bolaoni, Can you please send the email again? And please make the subject line something i can't ignore. Something like "from bolaoni" I recieve about 100 emails everyday so make yours stand out. hedgesfun, was that link for me or an answer to a previous post? Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi stevik, There are many ways to get traffic to your website Let me list a few: 1) Write artiles and submit to article directories. 2) Ezine ads 3) Google adwords 4) Other PPCs 5) Link exchange 6) Your own affiliate program (if you have a product) 7) Word of mouth Viral marketing9) Offline (like newspaper and magazine) 10) Forum participation (like this on) And lots more. Danielng, go to my site http://www.ecashnigeria.com and sign up for my free ezine. Also check out my free articles there. You can then take up the numerous offers i've got there. l2l, i don't understand what you mean. Can you explain further? Bolaoni, i'm still expecting your PM. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi stevik, Your adsense revenue is reading zero because your website visitors are not clicking on them. How much of traffic do you have on your website? The higher the traffic, the likelihood more people will click on your ads. Google pays out once your earnings reach $100 except if you choose the option where they can hold it until your earnings get to a set amount. About affiliate marketing, I have an ebook you can learn a lot from. -> http://www.averagejoeaffiliate.com/index.html I explained pay per click in the book. Adeoba, do not click on your ads. Google will find out. Get busy with building your business and you won't even remember that. It's unprofessional and bad. Remember, the money is someone's pay per click campaign. Cheers, Akin Alabi htt://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi all, Lots of posts to reply. Hope i'll do justice to all of them. The first i'll respond to is bolaoni. Thanks again for keeping this thread alive. You can send me a PM at the warriors forum. Send it to Akin Alabi. You can email me at akin@akinalabi.com This one is for gogetter. I really don't understand why people find it difficult to clear their cheques in Nigeria. Go to your bank and open a domiciliary account. It's not difficult to open. Just an identification like your passport with a little amount of money will do. I just cashed $970 clickbank cheque so it is not difficult. Hope you're "over the moon" now. This one is for sholemania. I don't do HYIP and i won't advise you to do it. My advise for you is to pull your ears and run. Thanks hedgesfun. This one is for afeez123. Which blog service are you using? Blogger? Wordpress? Go through your blog account and you'll find out how. Do some work mate. It's as easy as a pie. This is for opia. My 1hour consultation by phone is $197 and a reduced price of N15k for Nigerians. If you're interested, let me know. If not, kindly post your questions here so i can answer and so that other people can benefit. I think i've answered all. Oh! I've not replied jerrymania. You said i was outdated! My goodness! Who is this with millionaire internet marketer Ewen Chia? -> http://www.averagejoemarketing..com If i'm outdated, i won't be discussing making money online with a person that made $1.6million in 36 hours! Do you want to see the one with Michael Cheney? Or do you want Patric Chan or Willie Crawford? They are all my internet marketing buddies. I know my stuffs online. Sorry everyone if that sounded boastful. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi afeez123, I've posted a reply to your question on your thread. -> https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-35007.0.html If you've got further questions, don't hesitate to ask. That's why I'm here. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi afeez123, I know what you're talking about. It has happened to many people I've consulted for. Yes, Nigerians do make money online! There are many questions you should ask yourself. 1) Are the products you're promoting hot sellers? 2) Do you do a review of the products before sending your traffic them to the products you're promoting? 3) Is your traffic targeted? 4) Do you track your campaigns? 5) Do you build a list? I need to see your website before I can go into further specifics. Don't give up. You've done well to start something. Forget schemes like paid to read emails . You can't build a business that way. Just keep it going. |
Hi coolskeelz, As regards your cheques from adsense, simply deposit it into your domiciliary account here in Nigeria. I use guarantee trust bank. Publishing your own ebook should not be a problem once you know what you want to write about. Write it, convert it into pdf, write a sales letter, set up a ready to collect order web page, get traffic to it and cash your cheques. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi, Akin Alabi here. I've been answering people's questions regarding how they can start and profit from their own internet business. -> https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-30965.0.html Just follow that link. It takes you to the business segment of this forum. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi danielng, Your question makes me believe that you believe online business is something you put a certain amount of money in and then recieve dividends from automatically. Something like the stock market. I know a lot of people believe that because of those promising riches with HYIPs, randomnizers and the rest. That is not how it works and I want you to change your mindset. You see, internet marketing is just like doing business in the real (offline) world. You create or provide a product or service and then find a way to monetize it. You can say you want to create information products to sell online. You can start a blog or forum and monetize it with adsense. You can decide to be promoting products on clickbank through google adwords. And you can combine all of them. Build it like you're building an offline business. You'll have issues like low sales, too much expenses, staff hiring (if you get big), staff firing, investors and joint venture partners and so on. Change your mindset, then begin to learn how the internet works. My free monthly ezine will be of help. -> http://www.ecashnigeria.com You can also learn a great deal with my free articles. -> http://www.akinalabi.com/free-articles.html I wish you all the best. Hello everyone, Can you confidently say the year 2007 will be your best year ever? Do you think you can achieve all you desire for yourself this year? Do you believe the new year will bring you the success you deserve? Lots and lots of questions. If you ask me, I'll confidently tell you that everyone can achieve all they desire if they know what to do and how to go about it. I've compiled a few tips that will help you achieve all your fondest new year dreams. 1. Determine your goals for the year. A lot of people go through life without determining what they actually want from it. They just work hard, live by the day and hope everything goes on fine. That's a surefire way to fail! You have to determine what you actually want in life and in this instance, what you want to achieve by the time the year ends in eleven months time. I don't know what your goals are but you have to determine it. 2. Write them down. This will sound ridiculous to a lot of people but it actually works. Write down your goals for the year and look at it everyday. You can paste it on your bedroom wall, dressing mirror or what have you. You can put it in your wallet and replace it everytime it gets old an dirty. 3. Work towards your goal. How you'll work towards your goal will be determined by the nature of your goal. If your goal is to pass your examinations, you'll need to study dilligently for it. If you want to start a business, you'll need to learn how the kind of business you want to go into is done. Make sure you do something everyday that leads you to your goal. 4. Don't spend your time; invest it. "Use" your time doing things that will help you achieve your goals. The sheer amount of time we waste doing irrelevant things is simple outrageous. Before you do anything, ask yourself if it will help you achieve your goals. If it will not, do something that will. There is always a book to read, a seminar to attend, a business to start and so on. Cut your TV habits, sleeping habits, and other time wasting habits. Your time is precious so use it wisely. 5. Be persisitent. This is very important. A setback during the year should not be allowed to derail you. Being afraid of failure is a sure way to actually fail. There is no shame in failure. It's not being able to get up and bounce back that is shameful. Instead of giving up, learn from your mistakes and move on. Remember experience is the best teacher. I strongly believe these tips will help you achieve what you want for yourself this year. They are short but power packed. I'll be using them as well and I hope to exchange ideas with you as the year rolls on. Feel free to drop your comments. I'll see you next week. I wish you all the best. Akin Alabi http://akinalabi..com = = |
Hello otokx, I hade to scroll up the thread to see what you were refering to. I wonder how I skipped it. The response is that I'm not the one that introduced the "foreign investment fund thing". Foreign investment is not my way of doing online business. Some people do it but I've never done it neither have I ever introduced it to people. To cut the story short: No be me you dey find oh! Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
We're now six points clear at the top. Someone should tell me why I should not be happy. Who could have thought of that at the begining of the season. Let's see what happens on new year's day. Man Utd Till I Die! Akin Alabi http://talkpremiership..com = = |
Hi obedz, It's not compulsory to start with a website. I started marketing online using just emails and free autoresponders. See full details below. -> http://www.ecashnigeria.com/internet-marketing-without-a-website.html It all depends on what you want to do. Cheers all. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Emmyz, To build a website, you need to register a domain name. You can get one for $8 at 007names.com Then design your site with a free tool like nvu. You can get it at nvu.com Then you need a web host. I suggest you talk to Fisayo Akinlolu of http://www.hostplusng.com He will be of help to you. And bolaoni, thanks for keeping the thread alive. Thanks a lot. Cheers Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
You're spot on about the state of our league. I've been attending football matches in Nigeria since 1992 and it's unfortunate it's degenerated so badly. I remember vivdly how shooting stars of Ibadan used line up very good players like Ajibade Babalade, Duke Udi, Dotun Alatishe, Felix Owolabi and a host of others. Not anymore and it's quite a shame. Now i've been proviledged to watch European teams real live and visiting Old Trafford is now a piece of cake for me. With this experience, i can confidently say just two(2) things will make our league very okay. ==> The pitch. The FA should make it a must that all pitches must be well laid with lush green grass. This will aid the smooth passage of play. ==> Media Coverage. My God! How can we get good coverage when some TV stations use just one camera to cover matches. It is great coverage that makes exciting leagues like the premiership look so good. If you've attended the games before, you'll see that they are more beautiful on TV. I just love attending because of the fantastic atmosphere, and i'm sure that's what motivates other attendees as well. I strongly believe these two factors will go a long way in catapulting the standard of our dear league. Akin Alabi http://talkpremiership..com = = = |
Yes i remember the season you're talking about. That was 2002/2003 But to be honest, i wasn't part of those you refered as "everybody". What i've said is that things look good for Man Utd than it has been in recent years. Chelsea are still the champions and they must be respected. And i'm sure they'll be stronger when Peter Chec and John Terry returns. I've got 100 quid on Utd to win at 4/5 (William Hill) Who's with me? Man Utd till i die! Akin Alabi http://talkpremiership..com = = |
Hi all, I really believe this season belongs to Manchester United. We are playing brilliantly, scoring goals at will, tight defece, and in Christiano Ronaldo, we have the best young player in the world. Also we proved against Wigan that our squad is not as thin as a lot of people claim. Even Chelsea appear thin despite their financial muscle. They are struggling just because John Terry and and Petr Chec are injured. But we should remeber that Arsenal are without Gallas, Henry, Eboue and so on. Who agrees with me that United can go all the way? You can comment on my blog. -> http://talkpremiership..com Man Utd till I die. Akin Alabi http://talkpremiership..com = = |
Hi luckynzo, Let me tell you the method i use in promoting my own websites. Let's categorize it into 2 categories. The free techniques and the paid ones. See the free techniques: 1. Article writing and submission 2. Use of affiliates (you can use that if you have your own product) 3. Write a press release 4. Comment on other blogs 5. Start your own blog 6. Participate in forums like this 7. Traffic exchange 8. Link exchange 9. Giving testimonials Here are the paid ones i use: 1. Ezine advertising 2. Google adwords 3. Other PPC's 4. MSN adcenter (it's getting hotter daily) 5. Co registration leads. I must admit that these techniques are not the only traffic generation techniques availaible. But they are the ones I USE. I use them for my websites like ==> http://www.akinalabi.com Many people can give you tips they have never used but i can only tell you what i use everyday. I wish you all the best. = = |
Hi ibkn, Thanks for your post. My busy schedule these days has made it impossible to regularly answer questions here. I've been busy creating a new product. See it at http://akinalabi.com/resale-right-riches.html I hardly sleep these days. That's why i said it's a lie when people say you can make big money online without spending time and money. And thanks to bolaoni, he's kept the thread alive. Thanks mate. As per your question ibkn, I used to create turnkey websites for people in the past but not anymore. The reasons are numerous, but i'll tell you the main reason. You see, the package used to go for around 25k to 40k. After setting it up, i'll hand it over to the person, they'll go to bed. Instead of going out to advertise their site through the methods i recommend, they just expect money to pop out from their computers. And the internet doesn't work that way. They then turn around to accuse me of ripping them off. And that really annoys me. So i stopped. But if i get an assurance from you that you'll work hard after i hand a system over to you, then i can create one for you. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi ayo84, Thanks for your question. Paypal is not the only way you can receive payment online. We have clickbank (although you need a foreign address as well), paydotcom.com, 2checkout.com and others. Don't allow the issue of paypal prevent you from succeeding online. Just like in any aspect of business, there will always be reasons why you will not progress. It's now left to you to give up or go past those obstacles. I did not have a paypal account until after 3 years of marketing online. Come on mate, you can do it. I wish you all the best. Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Hi kitaun, Thanks a lot for appreciating the little i'm doing. I try as much as possible to help Nigerians start and profit from their own internet business. Keep the questions rolling in. There are lots to talk about online. List building, affiliate marketing, adsense, reprint rights, email marketing, PPC, ezine advertising, information product marketing and lots more. Cheers, Akin Alabi http://www.ecashnigeria.com = = |
Viral marketing
