mr man,you need to be very watchful of what you say.the greatest sin a man can commit is to sin against the holy spirit and that sin cannot be forgiven.that is what you have just done now.of what use is it to you if someone is speaking `gibberish` as you call it.if you also want to speak in tongues,pray to God to give you the gift.by mocking other people speaking in tongues,you can sin against the holy spirit especially if the tongue was actually inspired by the holy spirit.if such happens then there is no forgiveness for you o.be warned!

holy spirit and conscience are two different things. your conscience will never direct,guide or instruct you but the holy spirit will. your conscience is carnal while the holy spirit is spiritual.as a matter of fact whether you believe it or not your consience can die and you can manipulate your conscience but you cannot manipulate the holy spirit. you can do something and your conscience will condemn you and another person may do it and his conscience will not condemn him. when you have not surrender your life to Jesus and receive the holy spirit you surely have a conscience but your conscience will be weak and will also not be able to direct or instruct you but when the holy spirit comes into you,the holy spirit will re-awaken and strengthen your conscience.sometimes when am about to commit a sin,immediately ,the holy spirit will minister to me that what i want to do will make me sin though i may not see it that way.believe me if i ignore the warning,i will commit the sin and immediately i sin i will be condemned by my conscience and when i plead for forgiveness,the holy spirit will minister to me that "but i told you". the major differences between the holy spirit is that your conscience can only condemn you of wrong doings but cannot direct,instruct or caution you the holy spirit is the one that does it.i can explain better if you still don't understand.

the answer is very simple.read what Jesus christ said about the rich man and lazarus when they died.lazarus was taken to the bosom of abraham in heaven while the rich man was taken to hell.i want you to know that the sinners on the day of judgement will be cast into the lake of fire along with the devil.hell and the lake of fire are two different places.in the end hell will also be thrown into the lake of fire.read rev. 20 vs 14-15.

1. If HELL exists and according to the bible it was prepared for the devil and his angels, how come they are not yet in this place of torment

2. If Hell exists and the devil and his billions of angels are not yet in this place of torment how can man possibly go to this place for torture immediately after death

3. If HELL was made to torment the devil and his angels as the bible says, how come we have reversed roles, where the one who should be tormented is actually tormenting others.

your question is very simple,it is because you have not take time to study the bible well enough on this issue. let me ask you this,did you know that there is difference between the lake of fire and hell.go back to the bible when Jesus was talking about lazarus and the rich man. Jesus said the rich man was taken to hell after his death.the lake of fire is where satan and his angels will be tormented not hell.it might interest you to know that even hell will be cast into the lake of fire in the end.i must correct you,Hell is not a place where the devil will be tormented.the devil and his angels will be tormented in the lake of fire.Do yourself a favour of reading rev. 20 vs 12-15 and compare it with where Jesus said the rich man was taken to after death in the bible. if you are still adamant then i want you to show me where it is written in the bible that devil and his angels will be punished in hell.

KunleOshob: I don't know why we keep labouring this topic, whereas it is crystal clear from biblical teachings that a christian is under NO obligation to tithe and the type of tithing preached and practised today has no biblical basis, given the fact that it was arrived at through twisting scriptures a christian is under obligation to help those in need according to the teachings of Christ himself. Tithing as it is preached and practised today is a man made doctrine invented by a greedy clergy in the 6th century as a christian you cannot start comparing the words of christ himself to that of a greedy preacher who is just trying to take advantage of your ignorance of the scriptures.

i wonder what kind of christian you are and the kind of bible you are reading.i wonder what kind of biblical teaching you are talking about.to say christians are not under any obligation to pay tithes is just a huge demonstration of your ignorance about the word of God.you are part of those the bible said will be teaching false doctrines in this end time.have you not read where abraham,jacob and so on paid tithes in the bible.have you not read where God commanded the isrealites to bring their tithes into his house.have you not also read the book of malachi 3?don,t you know that your tithes belongs to God and Jesus said give unto God what belongs to God?have you not come across all these in your own bible?i pray God will deliver you and also next time do not try to express such ignorance again because you will be attracting the wrath of God when you are twisting the bible and making other people go contrary to the word of God.
