I think he wanted to say "APC has no place for emperors except Tinubu".

What happened during the Lagos APC primaries is a clear proof that at least there's one Emperor in APC named TINUBU.

And if Oshiomole thinks otherwise, let him go against Tinubu and see how he will be sent packing to Edo state.

Sincerely, I just discovered that Oshiomole is closely related to Lie Mohammed. If not how can he claim that "APC as a political party respects the judiciary". Abeg do we have another APC in the country?

So the only place he reads in the Bible is Psalms? No wonder! If he had read Exodus 20:15 which says "Thou shall not steal". He would have known that it is the devil that had been answering his prayer all this while.

Now that he has been arrested, let him use this opportunity to do follow up for those he preached to in prison when he was previously there.

It's quite painful that the subject of minimum wage had to undergo several deliberations like this. Governors can now claim that they don't have the capacity to pay what labour Congress is demanding for but they have the capacity to embezzle money.

Let the strike begin.

Christianity EtcRe: Primate Nicholas Okoh Speaks On Tithing by akinemma1: 5:02pm On Nov 14, 2017
One major problem we have in christianity today is the lack of PROPER bible study and interpretation. If we can getit right in that aspect, we will get it right in many other aspects as well. I smile most times when i see people quote Malachi 3 as their defense for tithe. Have you taken your time to read the WHOLE BOOK of Malachi? Do you know that the instruction in Malachi 3 was given to the Levites and priests? Do you know that the tithes mentioned there is actually the "tithes of tithes"? Do you know that the blessing referred to in that chapter is simply "rain"? Do you know what the devourer actually is?These are questions that need to be answered. Do you know that there is no where in the bible where people tithed"money"? Only crops and livestocks were tithed. Do you know that none of the Apostles taught about tithe as a system of giving in their epistles? Not even Peter and James did that? Do you still believe that God can curse a believer he came to save simply because he did not pay tithes? Do you even know that the only set of people recognised by the law to receive tithes were the Levites? Even Abram that tithed before the Law, do you know that he did it ONCE? And that was from the spoils of war not even his own personal properties.Sincerely speaking sir, i think it's high time we take proper bible study and interpretation seriously. There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between the OLD TESTAMENT and the NEW TESTAMENT. When we come to terms with that, then we begin to see things clearly as we should. There is NOBODY that can accurately defend the compulsory payment of tithes from the scriptures. Even most men of God know this, that is why NONE of them have come out to give a proper biblical explanation on that subject aside threatening people with the curses in Malachi. A lot of youths are now reading their bibles now and God is revealing the truth of his word to them. We don't give to be blessed by God, We give because we are already blessed by God.And just to let you know, i did not just know these truths so you won't think i was"deceived" with the recent online debate on the issue. My allegiance is to the WORD OF GOD.

There is no Devils wealth .1 Corinthians 10:26 KJV[26] For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.Only devlish ways ,The wealth of this earth belongs to our God.He blesses even the unrighteousMatthew 5:45 KJV[45] That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. That explains why unbelievers are rich .Bill gates according to scriptures is a fool, for he says " there is no God" alongside warren buffet etc .But God blessed them .Just like the rich fool .Luke 6:35 KJV[35] But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.God is kind to the ungrateful like Gates,Jobs andBuffet and their kind,This shows Material Prosperity isn't a proof of faith or spirituality .It's more preposterous to start merchandizing Gods blessings by asking people to sow for certain blessings like $91 for Psalm 91 blessings.2 Peter 2:3 KJV[3] And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whosejudgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.Peter warns us here .Acts 8:20 KJV[20] But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.God's blessings aren't for sale .Matthew 10:8 KJV[8] ..: freely ye have received, freely give. The preacher must never sell Gods blessings .This in no way scares us about wealth .It's Gods will that we prosper .3 John 1:2 KJV[2] Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.Matthew 6:32 KJV[32] (For after all these things do the Gentiles seeksmiley for your heavenly Father knoweth that yehave need of all these things.Be healthy .Have to give to others .Luke 5:7 KJV[7] And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.Give to the gospel .But we mustn't see a sales purchase contract in this !If many of believers can think ,they will know inpractical terms that the most wealthy aren't Christians .We must never have such shallow judgementsJames 2:1-2 KJV[1] My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.[2] For if there come unto your assembly a manwith a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;Wealth says nothing of your spirituality. It could be industry ,family inheritance ,location, miracles ,fraud, education etc, which we can find within scriptures. But to associate wealth with sowing seeds is spiritual illiteracy and living in denial .My dad once told me " I couldn't believe the gospel of the Pentecostal for a long time because to tell me I need to be born again and start giving to preachers to be rich is an insult on my intelligence ,not at my age "It's very true. Some unbelievers take some of our testimoniesas a joke when compared with what they own and yet don't believe like we do.I function in the corporate world of business,so I can't " gawk " those lullabies .Try next door .We should present prosperity in scriptural terms and stop this casino made seed prosperity .It's deceit and preacher "friendly ".And is a disservice to the truth of The Gospel which makes all of Gods blessings freely given and received .To dear young preachers ,don't allow anyone threaten you with poverty if this isn't your conviction .They claim your ministry won't go global without these practicesThere are several missionary organizations which reach millions without these tricks .And many other churches in Nigeria too.For example,Deeper Life Bible Church is in over 80 nations and none of these is found in its shadows .Don't allow anyone intimidate you .The Catholic Church has well over 1 billion members and arguably has more wealth than all other churches put together .Even richer than many nations .Facts speak for itselfSatan uses threats when he wants to manipulate.God will prosper his work without gimmicks, fraudulent bible interpretation and manipulation .I believe God,all your ministries and ours will keep experiencing His provisions and overflow .Amen.
I call you blessed

Christianity EtcBefore You Sow That Seed.....kindly Read This by akinemma1(op): 9:06am On Mar 25, 2017
Before You sow that seed ( short exhortation onmaterial wealth ) kindly read patiently

Anytime a preacher attempts to give proper bible interpretation to the subject of giving and receiving ,he is often accused of being " critical" and " not wanting others to prosper".Such blackmail doesn't work with me .I teach giving extensively and exhaustively .It is notorious .But I emphasize the truth of it.If the truth won't make you prosper ( which is ridiculous ) then it's better not to live in a lie .It's often said and believed that the reason for prosperity is giving .Hence the doctrines for all sort of giving with testimonies accompanying them .As a base rule for Christianity ,never hinge biblical truth and its validity on human experiences ,whilst our experiences testify, they don't authenticate .I am a stickler for sane and scriptural interpretation of scriptures .In bible interpretation there are three key principles ( amongst others ) before laying a bible doctrine:Firstly , is it written in the scriptures and conspicuous enough all over itSecondly ,is it well explained ,exegeted and laiddown? The bible isn't a reference material but doctrinal ,that is,it explains itself2 Timothy 3:16 KJV[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:The term " doctrine " means teaching, explanation .Thirdly,is it true in everyday experience .I will recommend a teaching we have for your diligent study ." Healing and Material Prosperity in Redemption ". It will give you things to think upon .I will highlight a few very salient facts here.In the four gospels ,Four Major rich men were discussed and none was credited for being a giver .The Young rich rulerMark 10:22-23 KJV[22] And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions. [23]And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!He wasn't a giver .The Rich Man in Lazarus StoryLuke 16:19,21 KJV[19] There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:[21] And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. He wasn't a giver .The Rich foolLuke 12:16,20-21 KJV[16] And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:[20] But God said unto him, Thou fool, this nightthy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?[21] So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.Obviously wasn't a giver .Jesus parable about giving clearly doesn't lend credence to such teaching as giving is what makes men prosper .Luke 21:1-4 KJV[1] And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.2] And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.3] And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:[4] For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. This is self explanatory .Joseph of ArimathaeaMark 15:43 KJV[43] Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.Obviously influential but not as a result of knowing Jesus,it was in his state of affluence that He met Christ.Without Doubt the Pauline epistles don't lend credence to this tooI will cite two key scripturesThe Macedonia Church was Pauls example for giving .2 Corinthians 8:1 KJV[1] Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; He wrote to Corinth,a much more prosperous church to emulate Macedonia2 Corinthians 8:2 KJV[2] How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.Yet Macedonia was experiencing poverty .It debunks the Theory that givers don't lack .It's a lie .Givers lack .Jesus himself couldn't feed the five thousand tillthe miracles ,John 6:5,7 KJV[5] When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw agreat company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?[7] Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.if that wasn't lack before the supply then what was it ?But God supplies our needs .A much more interesting one is the letter and instruction to Timothy .1 Timothy 6:17 KJV[17] Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; This is for already wealthy believers. He is asking Timothy to teach them not to trust in investments ,shares and landed property but in God .Isn't that interesting? But what does he mean1 Timothy 6:18 KJV[18] That they do good, that they be rich in goodworks, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; They should be givers !Seriously ? I thought that was the secret ..1 Timothy 6:19 KJV[19] Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. For the time to come .thats eternity .The rewards of giving is at the judgment seat of christ .Jesus said this earlier in a different textMatthew 6:19-20 KJV[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:[20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:That means you have treasure first before laying it.He speaks of eternity .Paul teaches industry preeminently in his epistlesActs 20:34-35 KJV[34] Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.[35] I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.1 Thessalonians 2:9 KJV[9] For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 KJV[10] For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.11] For we hear that there are some which walkamong you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.[12] Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.Ephesians 4:28 KJV[28] Let him that stole steal no more: but ratherlet him labour, working with his hands the thingwhich is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. This includes preachers of the gospel ,you must work hard too in preaching and teaching1 Corinthians 9:14 KJV[14] Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel. And be so rewarded1 Timothy 5:17-18 KJV[17] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.18] For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.Galatians 6:6 KJV[6] Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all goodthings. That said. Why then do we give ? I have been asked this several times.I give one basic answer,To break the hold of selfishness over our lives ,covetousness and greed !Like I earlier recommended ,get the teaching material" healing and material prosperity in redemption " it is exhaustive .I believe in material prosperity as Gods blessing .But not exclusive to believers .I subscribe to believers enjoying this worlds riches and wealth and more importantly, purposely use it for the advancement of the gospel .

PoliticsDear Goodluck Jonathan By Femi Aribisala by akinemma1(op): 12:00pm On Dec 31, 2013
I have decided to write you this 18-page letter BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. If I don’t write it now, people may start considering you as a good president; forgetting that I am the only good president Nigeria has ever had. There is no one like me. As far as Nigeria is concerned, I am the Baba of the Babas. I am the president of the presidents. Before me, Nigeria had no president. After me, there will be no other president.
I have had occasion in the past to warn you, especially when I nominated you as vice-president to Yar’Adua and then campaigned for you to be president, that under no circumstances should you outshine me. I did not put you there to do the things I could not do. Neither did I put you there to succeed where I failed. I put you there because my fourth-term agenda failed. Therefore, I needed someone to be a figure-head, while I continue to rule from behind the scene.
But since you became president, you have not been following my orders. I have warned you again and again to desist from this abuse of the authority I gave you. But you have refused to listen. So you now think you are actually the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I still de laugh! You are not the president. I am the president. If you continue to disobey me, and to promulgate policies that put me in a bad light when compared to you, I will see to it that you don’t even complete your first-term, how much more have a second-term.
I am already in discussions with the APC to see if we can have you impeached. Did you not read in the papers that APC leaders came to my house the other day? When they were here, we all ate pounded yam with egusi soup. Even Buhari had a second helping and asked for the recipe. You better read the writing on the wall. I notice you have quickly returned the missing 49 billion dollars after I brought the matter to the notice of fellow Nigerians; but that won’t help you. I will have you know that we are already training 1000 snipers who will puncture all the tyres of your supporters. Therefore, if you know what is good for you, you better start acting as the puppet president I put you there to be.
How dare you, Goodluck? How dare you build almajiri schools in the North? Why didn’t you suggest that to me while I was in office? How dare you address the NEPA problem when I could not? What exactly are you trying to prove? You think you are better than me? Don’t you know that you would have remained a striking university lecturer if it had not been for me? How dare you appoint a competent man to be Minister of Agriculture? Now the man is going around getting awards for his policies. Which policies? I am the one who revolutionized the agric sector in Nigeria. When I became president, I had only one farm. By the time I left office, I had over six farms in different parts of the country. Is that not progress? How many farms do you have?
You can never be better than me. The corruption in my government was far more than yours. You have nothing to compare with my infamous Siemens and Haliburton scandals. You don’t even have the gumption to buy a Toyota Land Cruiser for your mistress. Chinua Achebe said, “One of the truest test of integrity is its blunt refusal to be compromised.” You will soon find that this statement cannot be applied to me. I am above it.
How dare you release AlMustapha from prison after 14 years when you know I want him to stay there for the rest of his natural life? I give you my word; you are going to regret that decision. How dare you convene a national conference when I specifically refused to do so? Are you trying to make me look bad? Did you even get my approval before agreeing to it? You are a very disrespectful man. Do you think that you, a minority nonentity from the South-South, could have risen to be President of the country had it not been for me? Have you forgotten so soon, the extent I went in order to ensure that you are where you are today? There was only bad luck in Nigeria until I, in my infinite wisdom, bequeathed good luck on the country.
You ungrateful man! If you don’t stop all these irritating policies, I will declare a national state of emergency. Nonsense! You are supposed to obey your elders. Henceforth, Goodluck Jonathan, you must obey me. Otherwise, I will show you pepper. I will pour sand into your gari. I will put tea in your coffee. You can no longer be trusted; that is why you will only get a second-term over my dead body. I need to get someone in Aso Rock who will do what I say. I already have your replacement in mind. I don’t intend to make the same mistake three times. I will take him to a shrine under Olumo Rock to swear an iron-clad oath to do whatever I say. Any flagrant disregard of my authority, and he will not be able to speak English and Hausa again.
People close to you, if not you yourself, have been asking: “What does Baba want?” What a stupid question. I want to be president of Nigeria again! I want to be president! Half a dozen African presidents have spoken to me and assured me that I am the only president they recognize in Nigeria. Half a dozen of them said their only wish for Nigeria is that I should return to Aso Rock. Of course, yes. Mugabe is still there. Why not me? It is not my will but providence has determined that the presidency is my birthright. I fought for this country. Single-handed, I kept Nigeria together during the civil-war. You cannot sideline me. I put you there: I can remove you. I made you: I can unmake you. You are not the Messiah of Nigeria. I am the Messiah. Don’t you forget it! I want nothing personally from you but that you obey me at all times.
When I changed the constitution of our great party, I made sure I would continue to control things by inserting a clause which guaranteed that I am the only one qualified to be the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. But as chairman, I was not given the recognition I deserve as the father of the party. Therefore, I tendered my resignation. Imagine my surprise when you had the audacity to accept it. You are such an impudent man. If you knew your place, you would have recognized that my resignation was just a protest. You were supposed to send the elders of the party to beg me to stay on; a plea I would have graciously accepted. But like the ungrateful son that you are, you accepted my resignation. And now, you have Tony Anenih occupying a post that rightfully belongs to me.
Your unlimited ambition became clear to me when the National Chairman of the party said he never does anything without your approval. So you now see yourself as the Leader of the party. Never! See where it has got you now. A number of governors have resigned from the party and taken APC. If you don’t behave, another set will resign and take aspirin. The PDP has lost its majority in the House. There is talk of impeachment; and you are no longer sleeping at night. It serves you right. I fully intend to teach you a lesson you will never forget. By the time I have finished with you, you will run out of the country and seek political asylum in Equatorial Guinea.
It is not surprising that you have not been able to eradicate the scourge of Boko Haram from Nigeria. You don’t have military experience like I have. Under my watch, Bola Ige, Marshal Harry and others were surgically removed from the scene. Similarly, I would have finished Boko Haram within three months. I understand the violence. I am fully cognizant of the root, stem and branches of the underlying causes. But I will not share any of this with you as long as you refuse to make an unequivocal statement that you will not pursue a second-term.
Unlike you, as president of our great country, I was dynamic and resourceful. I exterminated trouble-makers from Odi and Zaki Biam. I spent $16 billion dollars restoring NEPA to its enviable heights. I committed 300 billion naira rebuilding all the federal highways in the East alone. I restored the country’s refineries. I raised the price of petrol several times. I rigged the most amazing election in the history of the country. I conducted the first widely-accepted national census. I could go on and on but my secretary has to go home. In short, I was the great president you can never be. So if you think a neophyte like you can compete with me; think again!
Stop taking me for granted. You don’t want to be in my bad books. I don’t forgive my enemies. You will regret this for the rest of your life. I will show you how much of a nuisance I can be. I will embarrass you everywhere. I will tell as many lies about you as I can. I will write public letters to you every week. I will copy the next one to the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
Never you forget: I dey kampe!
Accept, ungrateful Mr. President, the assurances of my highest disapproval.
Baba the Baba.
P.S. I shall be sharing the contents of this letter with all the newspaper houses in Nigeria and Ghana. I will also be copying my very good friend Governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha.

One thing that displeases me so much is the way we christians behave nowadays. @OP, if God truly show you the vision, did he tell you that "my son, go and post it on nairaland for everybody to read". I beleive what God want you to do is to intercede for the ministers and not expose whatever He has shown you to the world. When you keep saying all these, how did you expect unbelievers to accept christ. I believe we are not to scare people to christ by preaching Hell fire. We are to preach the love of God towards man. Lastly, concerning hell visions seen by so many people this days, my own personal view is that "we are saved by grace and not by work. We all need the grace and mercy of God for us to make heaven."
@OP, i will suggest you face your own salvation. My prayer is that God will not leave this ministers alone and if they have been taking the wrong steps God will redirect their steps and at the end of their works on earth, heaven will be their home in Jesus name.
RomanceFather Demands One Million Facebook Likes As Dowry For His Daughter by akinemma1(op): 9:47am On Dec 20, 2013
A father came up with a unique request from any man who wants to marry his daughter.
Instead of asking for the traditional dowry, such as money or animals, the Yemeni father is asking for 1 million “likes” on Facebook.
Any man who is able to accomplish this feat will have the privilege of being his future son-in-law.
Salim Ayyash, a well-known Facebook personality in the western Yemeni province of Taizz, has explained his interesting offer by saying that “Nobody can afford to pay the dowry in Yemen theses days.”
“In Yemen, the girl’s father sets the price for dowry. The amounts are often beyond the means of her fiance,” he said.
“There have been efforts to change the high dowery requests, but so far, the efforts have been unsuccessful,” Ayyash explained.
Ayyash said that the most important thing for him is to see that his future son-in-law sets himself a goal and is able to achieve that goal.
He noted that he is willing to compromise for the sake of the future of the young couple.
“If I see that he has worked hard to achieve a goal, I’m willing to be flexible to see them happily married,” he said.

PoliticsWhy Tribalism Must Be Kicked Out Of Nigeria by akinemma1(op):
One major reason Nigeria has failed to develop despite all the resources we possess is the existence of tribalism and ethnicity. Tribalism have eaten deep into the fabrics of the Nigerian nation and distracted many, especially the youths who are the leaders of tomorrow.
Tribalism in Nigeria today have been elevated to the status of a national discourse, controls how we think and talk and also determines what we oppose or support. Tribalism has deprived Nigeria of its rightful position in the world stage.
Since the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914 by the colonial masters, inter ethnic relations have been turbulent to say the least, with civil war and power struggles between ethnic groups causing violence and frustration among the people. In the history of Nigeria, there have been frequent tribe based succession battles in many federal government agencies in recent years. This cuts across all sections of the economy. It is more disgusting when the educated ones who should know better are the ones propagating tribalism. Many columnists write articles defending their tribal interests and downgrading other tribes and ethnic groups.
Tribalism is the reason why we have Nigerians always campaign for the release of their tribesmen who are in trouble with the law without regard to whatever offence the person has committed. A good example of this is the Oduah gate scandal involving the minister of Aviation, Miss Stella Oduah, over the purchase of two bullet proofed cars. Some igbo youths protested against the charges claiming that the charges was targeted against her because she was an Igbo. Also when the two sons of Gov. Sule Lamido of Jigawa state were arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and for money laundering, some northern youths also gathered together and protested against the arrest claiming it was politically motivated. Tribalism is also the reason why we have zoning system in Nigeria and the zoning system is not an efficient way of producing the best leaders for this country.
For Nigeria to really succeed, we must put an end to tribalism and unite as a nation. Nigeria cannot progress if the people are suspicious of each other. For Nigeria to experience any reasonable growth, tribalism should be treated as gravely as racism. Nigerians must stop spreading lies and venom about fellow countrymen based on their ethnicity. If nothing is done urgently, tribalism will remain an hindrance to the progress of Nigeria. It is high time we come together and unite as a nation for the benefits of us all. United we stand, divided we fall. Long live Nigeria.

PoliticsCourt Defers Akingbola’s Re- Arraignment Till March 2014 by akinemma1(op): 10:10pm On Dec 09, 2013
A Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja on Monday, December 9, 2013 postponed till March 2014, the re-arraignment of a former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Intercontinental Bank Plc (now Access Bank Plc), Mr. Erastus Akingbola and his associate, Bayo Dada who are standing trial in a N47billion stealing charge instituted against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Justice Lawal Akapo who was taking over the case from the former trial judge, Justice Adeniyi Onigbanjo, told Godwin Obla, SAN and M. I. Igbokwe, SAN, prosecuting and defence counsel respectively, that he would need time to acquaint himself with the content and facts of the case. He subsequently adjourned the matter till March 24th, 25th and 27th, 2014 for arraignment and trial.
Akingbola and Dada were originally arraigned before Justice Habeeb Abiru who was on the verge of delivering judgment on the case before being upgraded as a Judge of the Court of Appeal. The case consequently started de novo with Justice Adeniyi Onigbanjo who has now been transferred to another division of the Lagos High Court, hence the transfer of the case file to Justice Akapo.
