I think you’re taking it farther than he meant. Not everything he said suits me, but I understand he was trying to emphasise the Nigerian factor in job processes. Saying you should “unfollow this thread” was not a serious advice. He was just emphasising the realities in our society today. Tagging it “wrong” may not be fair to him as it demonises him. I’m sure he wasn’t malicious in his post. He even added an “lol” to show that the advice was an attempt on sarcasm. The email was sent to over 90% of persons who scored 75% and above and few below that..
