Business / Re: Taxify Drivers/partners In Ibadan, Share Your Experience Here. by Akkord4gov: 6:18am On Jan 17, 2020

I created this thread some months back... So lemme bring it alive again.

IBADAN BOLT/TAXIFY DRIVERS, let's meet here and share our experience

So I registered my car on the Bolt platform 2 days ago right in their office in Samonda. The whole process takes about 30mins. A short tutorial was done after which you'll be told to take ur car for inspection.

Left the office around 4pm and was crusing home to start work the next day. Just few meters from my home around 6pm.... First drive request came in. I accept the other and picked up 2 girls going for a house party. They stopped at the mall for get some things... After which we proceed with the journey which lasted 61mins. In my mind I was like there fee should be around #2500 or so. But when the trip ended Bolt brought #1800.

When we where at there office. We where told once a rider orders bolt and u start a trip, it's automatically #400. So every min spent is plus #30. Also they calculate by distance as well. Kilometers driven.

Well, I collect my #1800 and later returned home. That's was the end of the days job. So see what tomorrow holds.

I sent you a mail and you are yet to respond. Pls kindly check and respond. Thanks

Career / Re: What Was Your Childhood Dream, did you achieve it? by Akkord4gov: 12:39pm On Nov 02, 2019
All I wanted to become is a footballer, but with parent as teachers, I still couldnt forget how going to the field required alot of lies. The slogan then was "children of the teachers must be academically good" and to achieve it requires little play.

If I were a lady, I would have been close to my menopause and till now, I don't have a stable dream. I wanted to become an economist at a point, admission palava made me to find myself in psychology, job palava made me to find myself in another career. Lols. But I love psychology, proudly a psychologist. My goal is however to do my best in any position I find myself and be a blessing to the humanity

But I have a dream now anyway and no matter the challenges to achieve it cos of Nigeria factor, I will still find a way to do it even as a grandpa

Education / Re: Obituary Of ABUAD Potential Best Graduating Student And His Mother by Akkord4gov: 1:45pm On Oct 24, 2019
Any news about death is heart breaking, but death through this way is immense high shattering. Imagine the trauma. Just imagine if the mother was first killed in front of the son or vice versa, what about their family....Very painful.

The truth is death is even more constant than change, we only pray and hope we live longer in good health and may Almighty make death easy for us when it finally knocks

Guys Oya abeg start giving me hustle ideas, writing my final semester exam Banking & finance, I will be seating for Options and futures paper soon..

I can't graduate and lament, never never never

Oya Pls guys...

Congrats, if many had known this before graduating, they wouldn't have found themselves in this mess. so congrats once again because you realised the way forward very early. People will talk of business which is fine but business that you don't learn may fail sooner than you expect. So try to analyse yourself and discover what you will find joy in doing and go and learn it. Printing, POP, fashion, the list is just too much.
Also, we are in digital world, learn digital marketing (still in my dream), cyber security, programming etc. You have the chance to learn as many things as possible. And you can also start little hustling for average survival like importing, farming, buying and selling.

Crime / Re: Yahoo Boys In More EFCC Trouble, Korea Offers Help In Cyber Intelligence by Akkord4gov: 2:46pm On Oct 01, 2019
Not bad. If this can be reduced to the nearest minimum, coming generation will once again see hardwork as the only means to success. Our image will be redeemed too internationally.

But, without dealing with the Yahoo politicians too, crime in general cannot be reduced if government continue to make life unbearable from her citizen

Celebrities / Re: Mompha Buys N180m Rolls-Royce Wraith Eagle Viii 2020 (Photos) by Akkord4gov: 11:11am On Oct 01, 2019
If you have a billion in your account, 180m isn't much to buy comfortability for yourself. And you can still remove 200m for charity
Footballers spend much more on cars

But my only problem is just the source of the money. A billionaire business man will never spend such on cars or other frivolities. Few years back, I lived as a neighbour to the present governor of Oyo state, you can't ever guess or predict he is worth up to 50m talk less of the 48billion he declared as asset.

People like this don't have a verifiable source of income and they will still be rubbing it on the faces of legal hustler that 'anyway anyhow, make this money'.

I think it isn't proper to stop your kids from running to meet you. Stopping/forcing them to stop may have a psychological effect on the child, you are the one that needs to be careful always when you know you have little children
Just like a pic that was trending where a kid was playing under a jeep. Being careful is the way

No bro, you should know him by now.

Then you yourself know nothing.
At that stage of his life, journalists will be looking for him everywhere. And hope you know that before every and after every matches, there is always interview?

But, is it affecting his work ethics? No. So leave the guy, he has worked for every attention he is having now

This man's career is now more on social media.

No, it was like an hour interview that bloggers and journalists decide to take bit out of it. Since they know anything Ronaldo will sell, they prefer to be giving you bit. Don't be surprise, you will still be reading about yesterday's interview till next week and you will think it is another interview entirely

Ego and boasting are much that's why most people don't like him.

He doesn't care about the little noise makers that dont like him
He has the highest social media followers among all footballers, top 5 in the world
He has learnt that no matter how you try, you can't satisfy everybody.

Some fans will surely rush here to call him arrogant and alot of names. The truth is that, you need to learn one or two from this guy. This is what motivate him and he isn't actually cared whether you hate it or not. Most times, I even pity him. He is putting more pressure on himself especially as his age maybe a barrier but he care less, he so much belief in himself that he can achieve in age 34 what he achieved in age 24.
Evra said "don't answer Ronaldo when he calls you for lunch, for him, lunch is another opportunity for training session"
This guy is my role model jare
