Romance / Re: My Girlfriend Family Rejects Me Because I'm Disabled by Akowemoon(m): 6:23pm On Dec 31, 2019
empirebosscrew:
Good day everybody. So I have lived with poliomelythis for more than two decades now. I have strived so much to achieve alot for myself because I never allowed my situation deter me from achieving my goals in life.

Everything has been going on smoothly: Education up to MSc level, a job, a car and things a man can acquire and say he has reached a level of comfort.

The one thing I'm yet to get is to be in a stable relationship. 99% of the girls I've dated never took me serious and we never lasted long. Some will even take advantage to chop my money and bail after a while. It got to a point I had a bitter negative stereotype thinking all women are mainly out there to exploit a man.

It wasnt until earlier this year when I met someone who changed the horoscope. Like she is so down to earth and actually loved me for me, without even looking at my paralysis. Things were going smoothly until she started becoming aggressive and emotional over little issues.

It took a while but she was able to open up to let me know how her family vehemently told her they dont want to see her with someone like me. They also threatened to disown her if she insisted on being with me.

Currently, we decided to stop seeing each other for the sake of peace to reign in her family. We do keep communication on a 100. We both love each other genuinely and we do not want us to split just like that.

What do we do?

She has a greater role to play here. If she insist on living with u forever, no jupiter can stop u guys. Pls remember to pray coz spiritual n physical attack may involve... Best of luck man!

Romance / Re: If Money Is Delaying You From Getting Married, Read This by Akowemoon(m): 10:11pm On Dec 17, 2019
Godislove1234:
I am quite a young man in my late 20's. There's this lady whom I love so much. She's from one of these eastern states in Nigeria. She's very beautiful, very godly and still a virgin. We've been together for about two years now but no money for marriage. The reason is because it is quite expensive to get married in their state.

I told her to inquire from her parents how much I may need for the marital rites she called me back and said about 500k (na just to manage be that o). So I said ok. 500k is actually a small amount but when you try to get it and you cannot, then it will suddenly become like 500 million to you. So I started putting in more efforts to raise the money but na lie the money no wan show.

Guess what I did today? I called her up and after talking about other issues I finally told her that I can't keep waiting to raise that amount of money. I have been depressed about it for some time now but I couldn't tell her because I didn't want her to get bothered. So I told her to go tell her parents that what I can raise by God's grace is 200k. If they approve, I'll come but if not make she go look for another man marry. Before now she has been asking me to come with anything I have but I kept saying no and the reason is that you can't just show up at someone's house and tell them that you've come to pick up their daughter with the little amount you have. So guess what? Just like magic they agreed to what I said (even though I wasn't expecting it to go that way). She sent me the text confirming her parent's approval. For me its a big miracle. If I should tell you the state in question you won't believe it.

So here's my advise to you all who want to get married to the love of your life but no money... Make you and the Babe get strong head work together or else her village people go dey delay una marriage because they want something elaborate. It's good to be stubborn I tell people. Both of you should come up with a plan (not to get her pregnant o. I don't support that please). But the plan will be carried out by your woman. She should stubbornly insist incase the parents are the difficult type, that this is the man she wishes to marry and if they don't let her she will remain single for ever (parents especially mothers dey fear that kind talk) if it doesn't work think of something else.

Just keep trying or else two of una go dey there old. But above all please put God first. He can make even the most hardened of men become soft for your sake. He may not send you all the money you need to fulfil what's in the list but He can make her parents accept you the way you are. It is called favour. What you need is the approval and blessings from both parents nothing more.

Forget village people. They too like eating and drinking. Remember that if you spend all the money in your account just to get married you and your wife will starve after the wedding. And to those who are insisting on white wedding please stop being foolish. White wedding is just a mere celebration just to fulfil all righteousness. If you have the money for it, fine. If not, no kill yourself. Don't keep your woman or man waiting.

Take a bold step today and God will meet you guys halfway. But whatever you do PLEASE don't marry a lazy woman. With this is mind, its just a matter of time you guys will succeed. Two good head are better than one. All the best guys. One love.

Lolz.. I've been trying to gather money to do same.. The money no dey gree save at all.. Honestly we've picked date next year April.. Better money never dey akant as I'm typing. Na God go help we guys o!... Not easy

Crime / Re: 50-year-old Man Jailed For Life For Raping A 19-month-old Baby In South Africa by Akowemoon(m): 2:27pm On Dec 13, 2019
Jerryembassy91:
A 50-year-old man has been jailed for life for raping a 19-month-old baby girl who required corrective surgery for the injuries she sustained.

Mzingisi James Ntshontshi was jailed for life this week by Port Elizabeth high court judge Irma Schoeman for the rape on August 12, 2018.

The judge described his actions as “abhorrent, wicked and perverse” and said the ordeal had devastating consequences for the toddler.

According to testimony led during the trial, the child's mother, who worked at a bakery in St Francis Bay, had left her in the care of a woman who shared a house with in Ntshontshi. The female carer, in turn, left the child with the accused, when she went to buy alcohol at about 7am at a nearby shebeen.

Before she could return, the child was found half-clothed, bloody and bruised in the bushes about 100m away from the house by members of the community at about 4pm that day.

Humansdorp hospital's Dr. LM Mabaso, who examined the toddler, told the court that due to the severity of the injuries, she had immediately consulted with a specialist at Dora Nginza Hospital and the little girl had been rushed to Port Elizabeth for corrective surgery.

A medical report filed before sentencing described the enduring physical and psychological problems affecting the child. Her rapist was also ordered to pay for her corrective surgery from behind prison bars.

The worried mother of the child who sent her daughter away to live with family members after the incident told the court of her guilt.

“After it happened I saw her once because I separated myself from her ... when I look at her or when (a relative) sends me a picture of her, then I have the image of when she was raped,” the mother said.

All I see is useless, big mouthed youths contributing zero while pointing fingers at ''Nigeria''.

Go to India, Kenya, etc, and see youths developing all sorts of things, with the same poor infrastructure you always complain about here.

Some employees won't understand, while working under a boss, I thought he wasn't been kind to us as our salaries are been paid every 15th of the next month. Boss travelled outside and I was to oversee the activities and maintain the organization, Believe u me, I find it difficult to pay my own self salary at the end of the month...No good employer want to enslave his employees, let's be reasonable with our company at times, the country is not favourable to any organization as of now...
