Now you are talking. Hold your Edo state. It Asue wins, good luck to him.
Normally, omo Agege is more popular than sheriff. No one likes sheriff. Agege aligned with obidients. There was no way there would have voted PDP. Pdp rigged delta north and south like they usually do since 1999

Oga, tell us only about Edo state. You do not know much about other states.

Show us the areas in Edo state where APC won elections without rigging.

What are the factors that determine failure that you cannot find in the entire leadership in your Edo state?
Give us concrete evidence to back up your claim that Okowa failed in Delta state as the Governor.

Where was and is the hope for APC to defeat PDP in Delta politics? Go and read the election results from 2015, when APC started to field candidates in Delta state and tell us where the hope for APC was. Inspite of Ibori and his combination of APC political leaders in Delta Central, Okowa defeated them all. That APC got two seats, was by the name of the candidates and not the party. Even APC supporters were openly saying that they did not stand a chance.

Of all the Senatorial zones, how did you expect Omo Agege to defeat PDP in Delta north, which was, is and will continue to be PDP’s home? By the way, Peter Nwaoboshi, who contested on the platform of APC was roundly defeated by Ned, not because Ned was popular, but because, just like Delta central is Omo Agege/Ibori’s stronghold, Delta north is Okowa’s stronghold. Omo Agege himself scored 240k votes because of the anti party activities of Ibori against his own PDP in Delta central. Your Omo Agege was lucky that Ibori was angry at Okowa for not accepting his own governorship candidate. Yet they were roundly defeated by Okowa.

What’s making Sheriff useless? Show us proof that he is useless. You go just siddon for Ramat park dey drink alumo come dey tell us of Sheriff.
So how did you expect Asue to win APC in Edo north that oshiomhole controls, a divided pdp for that matter? Even Peter obi with his popularity failed here woefully. Asue stood no chance sir.just as Okowa is godfather there and strong is how oshiomhole controls APC and dominates Edo.

Where did Obi win everywhere in Delta state that he did not repeat in Rivers state?

In other presidential elections before Wike, PDP scored over one million votes. Even with his last minute so called 200k special assistants, he delivered less than 300k votes to APC, according to what was claimed. Was that progressive or retrogressive? To you, who was a paperweight between Wike and Okowa, who delivered the Presidential election victory to his party in Delta state? Why was Wike not able to muster over one million votes, or even close to it, as was always the custom. We all have always expected heavy votes from Kano and Rivers. NNNP scored close to one million votes, yet your Wike could not match words with action in Rivers state.

Labour Party defeated APC in Lagos state, but can you call Shettima a paper weight politician? Or you do not understand what the word paperweight means?

A decent politician with integrity with not sell his party and people for selfish interests. Okowa does not and will never do that. Your Wike has been accused severally, and even openly by Magnus Abe of anti party activities. With such greedy people as Wike, how can political parties progress?

Oya, answer.
What is decent about Okowa that failed as a governor, rigged his LGA for Ned to win and rigged out Omo Agege for useless Sheriff

You're a poor student of Nigerian politics tbh. Let me shock you, in case you're not aware. Atiku/Obi won in 2019. The election was rigged for Buhari. He almost gave up at the dying minute before Oshiomole called him to congratulate him. You people just sit down behind keyboard and type anything.
How did Atiku win in 2019? Someone that struggled to win Adamawa? The 2023 results shows you that atiku is a failure

You are not fair in your judgement. Wike did an uninterrupted 8yrs, without any heat from his predecessors like he was giving Fubara. Sim, hadn't done up to 1/4 of the years of Wike, coupled with all the troubles he has had and he did well like this, give him the next 6yrs, he will rubbish Wike with outstanding performance as a governor.
Let me tell everyone here, that Wike has nothing to offer after office, than what Tinubu is backing him to do in Rivers State. Without Federal might,he will run out of town.
Lol. Wike doesn't need federal might to rubbish Sim

Funny. Is Adamawa not Atiku's state so why count it? These binani and Abbo worked for Atiku last election so no difference. Tinubu still got 25% here and Obi got over 100k. In case you haven't noticed, Fintiri is tilting towards Tinubu camp. Atiku bad politicking has always failed him...

Which paperweight politician is Tinubu relying on? Last I check, the most popular politicians are pro Tinubu

This analysis is just one of the many rubbish too Akpabio through Yahaya Bello is orchestrating in Kogi state.
Where do they suddenly get 250,000 people to sign the recall nonsense?
What is the total vote cast during the last senatorial election that produces Natasha and Ohere before the court ! Less than 100,000 right?
So what are you saying?
Total votes in 2019 and 2023 Guber in Ebira land was almost 300k
Politics › Re: INEC Receives Petition Seeking Natasha Akpoti's Recall by Akpakomiza2: 4:48pm On Mar 24, 2025

The recall will fail. All this thing you are seeing is to show Akpabio that the money he gave out is working.
Meanwhile Ebiras are special stubborn people, so Yahaya Bello, the Akpabio errand boy in this case knows Natasha very well that she is up to the game traditionally.

Nothing will happen except GOD ALMIGHTY has destined to ruin Kogi central because the wahala that will ensued will consume all the present politicians in Ebiraland including Ododo the governor.
It will not fail, bello is to replace her in the senate and he's the most popular Ebira man
Politics › Re: INEC Receives Petition Seeking Natasha Akpoti's Recall by Akpakomiza2: 4:47pm On Mar 24, 2025
ddippset:
1. INEC didn't monitor the process.
This is very important because we can't be sure that people from other constituents could have been included to raise the numbers.

2. Many of those constituents that were invited for the recall didn't even know why they were there;; some were told it was an NGO event, some were bribed.
Firstly, inec are not supposed to be in the phase of collating signatures. Their duty starts from when they receive the petition for recall.

2) bribery and deceit is part of the electoral process and she has also started bribing her constituents by sharing goodies

Yes, that's what Agim said.

Then Agim gave a judgement, and also gave remedies. The Governor now goes back to implement decisions based on that Judgement then you shut it out then announce a SoE, then profusely accuse the Governor, falsely on National TV.

Allow the Constitutional process to follow through, don't disrupt it. Which is worse? Following the Supreme Court Judgement:

1. Is there now a Government in Rivers State?

2. The withheld funds which the Apex Court gave specific orders to be released if budget is presented to the House, has that taken place?

3. Has the funds been released?

4. The Supreme Court Judgement that LG allocations been paid directly, has it been implemented in Rivers or any State for that matter, till today?
He was already indicted by the SC for destroying the legislature so that was enough ground for moves against him. As of when he was suspended, the house was not rebuilt and he had not implemented any remedies. He had two weeks but took no steps ..all he needed to do immediately within the first two days after the judgment where?

Firstly, sack all appointees screened by Jumbo led assembly
Secondly, pay the arrears of the 27 members and apologize to them

Submit a new list of appointees made up of both his supporters and that of Wike

Meet with the lawmakers in a neutral place or in their comfort zone and allow them dictate the pace of negotiations.

He failed to do this rather rushed to bring out LGA polls timetable and tried to submit a new budget. Fubara was mostly at fault however you look at it

All these analysts are just been sponsored to calm frailed nerves.

Where have you seen a President announce a SoE because he wants to protect a Governor then go on National TV and lambast that Governor?

Where have you seen an AGF openly attack a Governor, defend so profusely a Party in the conflict, then threaten other Governors?

Impeachment is not new..... Look at reasons behind SoE in the past and look at this one, there is a huge difference as to reason(s) it was declared.

Again, Government didn't collapse in Rivers, did it? It's all politics and has 2027 written all over it. Knowing a man like Wike, you think the SoE will help anything?

REC or RSIEC? Na military man dey on board now oooo, dem no born e Papa well
The government actually collapse in rivers going by the apex court judgment

You are right. Sometimes, the application of 'locus standi' can be senseless. See how Supreme Court in a similar case brought to it by Plateau government then, dismissed it technically ,because of locus standi. The job of the Supreme Court is to interpret laws and not to dismiss cases using nonsense technicalities. Law in democracy should have human faces.
Oga, there's what we call jurisdiction in law. The supreme court cannot just delve into any case or any matter, they must find out if the deadline hasn't passed, whether you are qualified to bring the case. Those technicalities are important,. The supreme court is too overburdened and only few cases must get there
