engineerboat:Lol, hearsays is what the pdp is presenting in court sir. You have nothing to say. Asue should rest |
engineerboat:What stops daily trust and vanguard from reporting the accurate events? Why didn't they capture the correct proceedings and headlines? The evidence of those two are trash however.. You are the one not following the tribunal because if you did, you will agree that all PDP agents fumbled. One claimed he was an agent but had no tag, another claimed to witness rigging but was never at the units, another said there was over voting until the respondents proved him otherwise with bvas, one clown claimed there added wrong results until Barr Ikpeazu showed him otherwise, another said Asue lost the election. Is it the one that said he only based his reports from irev or one that claimed he saw bvas but later denied or the other that rejected his statements? Read the handwriting |
engineerboat:Oga sir, don't deviate or digress. You lost out as usual. We where talking about the daily trust headlines from a unit agent to mislead people. You and that fellow where totally wrong or misunderstood me. I never said only unit agents testifies. A unit agent lied that the whole LGA was rigged according to daily trust. There was no testimony from a ward or LGA agent according to that very post he posted from daily trust concerning Etsako east. Why are you introducing another different topic and matter when we haven't exhausted that one? Accept that you made a mistake and that your party fumbled first... What you posted from vanguard is from Ikpoba okha another different LGA entirely... The evidence is also useless because it was given by the LGA agent instead of the ward agent. Only the ward agent or different unit agents can correctly testify what happened at that ward and not the LGA agent..another big loss Like I said earlier, ogugwa chooses what he writes and I do same. So what is your problem |
engineerboat:What is your problem? Did you read the whole message? There was no ward agent who testified, only the unit agent. Show me where there was a ward or unit agent. Does ogugwa balance his reports? He always writes about pdp winning, why can't I do the opposite |
gbengayandipo20:Yes and during cross examination, he fumbled and his lies started showing. It's a dead case |
gbengayandipo20:By Daily Trust Fri, 31 Jan 2025 6:02:03 WAT A key witness for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) testified at the Edo State Election Petition Tribunal on Friday, detailing instances of over-voting in alleged favor of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Etsako East Local Government Area. Appearing before the tribunal as a Polling Unit Agent, the witness demonstrated how the total number of votes cast at his polling unit exceeded the number of accredited voters recorded by the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS). There's nothing I don't know about electoral matters. As you can see above, it was a mere unit agent. You see why PDP are always failing against APC. A unit witness can only testify for only his unit and not another talk less of ward or a whole LGA. Asue has failed |
sirgoody:Lol, was your so called witness everywhere in the LGA? APC are dealing with Asue |
IfnobeGod20:You are the one confusing yourself. Any subpoena that is at the request of the petitioner is a nullity. They were supposed to have inspected the bvas before the trial began. In any case, since they are not backed by inec witnesses, it is useless.. What he presented is an expert report sir because it is a data analysis and he is a data analyst and only a data analyst can present it so hence the expert report. Unfortunately, he is of the pdp and cannot be relied on.... Opeyemi bamidele did not present any expert report, he only identified some documents and answered some questions without preparing any analysis. |
ValarDoharis:Setting the ground? Did you read the post at all |
Wickedfacts:Yes |
engineerboat:My reportage is superior to that of ogugwa if we must be honest |
Bobloco:They voted massively for Okpebholo |
Bobloco:Your party is losing |
Bobloco:You sound pained |
In a startling development at the Edo 2024 Governorship Election Tribunal in Abuja, a 61-year-old witness for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Muitaru Yusuf, may face significant legal consequences after being accused of lying under oath. This incident unfolded during the tribunal’s proceedings on Friday, where Mr. Yusuf’s credibility was called into question during cross-examination by Barr. Ferdinand Orbih, counsel for Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo. Mr. Yusuf initially testified that he based his statement, made on October 11, 2024, on screenshots of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) results. However, it was revealed that the PDP had only acquired certified true copies of these results on January 8, 2025, long after his claims were made. This inconsistency indicated that Mr. Yusuf had provided false testimony, as the evidence he referenced did not exist at the time of his statement. During the cross-examination, Barr. Orbih pointed out the discrepancies in Mr. Yusuf’s testimony. When questioned if he still stood by his initial statement, Mr. Yusuf retracted his claim, admitting that he had merely relayed what the PDP instructed him to say. Lying under oath in a court of law is a serious offense in Nigeria, punishable under Section 118 of the Criminal Code, which carries a potential prison sentence of 14 years. Perjury undermines the integrity of legal proceedings and threatens the authority of the judiciary. As the tribunal weighs the implications of this revelation, the situation casts doubt on the credibility of the PDP’s entire petition and raises questions about the authenticity of the allegations made. Political analysts are now pondering how many more such statements were constructed without basis, driven by the grievances of a few party leaders unwilling to accept the election results. The PDP, led by its governorship candidate Asue Ighodaro, appears to be in a precarious position. Facing accusations of desperation and attempts to manipulate the judicial process, they struggle to maintain their narrative amidst mounting evidence of potential misconduct. Observers note that this development not only jeopardizes the credibility of the PDP’s claims but also poses a significant threat to the integrity of Nigeria’s democratic processes. As the tribunal proceeds, the public remains attentive to developments, eager to see the repercussions for those who threaten the judicial system with falsehoods. The tribunal continues its proceedings as the PDP attempts to navigate a challenging landscape in their quest to overturn the electoral victory that Senator Monday Okpebholo and the All Progressives Congress secured by a substantial margin with the support of Edo voters. https://infopowerng.com/2025/01/31/drama-at-edo-election-tribunal-as-61-year-old-pdp-witness-risk-jail-term-for-perjury/ Mynd44 Nplfmod Nlfpmod Fergie001 Seun Seunmsg Cajal Highestpopori Casualobserver Ovb123 Oredopikin Meum Michaelsokoto Chinjo2 |
engineerboat:All posts by ogugwa gets to fp instantly. Why |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Did you see him storm out? Watch the press conference granted by both parties and you will see who is winning |
IfnobeGod20:Oga, the supreme court has settled the matter of expert reports. Ossy Anenih was the director of research of Asue Ighodalo campaign. Infact, if the report was from inec, it would have been better. In the obi and atiku vs tinubu case, all the expert reports where from non partisan sources. You are the one clutching at straws. Again, a lot of pdp evidences are through subpoenas and not part of their petition and the court has dealt with this matter in Ombugadu vs Sule supra. This is beyond technicalities.. All the bvas pdp brought to court where not even marked as required. Instead of them to call inec witnesses who knows the workings of bvas to testify on bvas, they are calling on their agents... Blame opposition and leave the judiciary |
Bobloco:Dealt by who? PDP have lost out |
IfnobeGod20:You are only looking at the pdp reports. If you had compared it with that of Apc or neutral sources, you would get a balanced reportage... The star witness presented an expert report and an expert report can only be prepared by neutral or non partisan witnesses with objectivity. Mr Anenih publicly admitted to working for pdp... See Adeleke vs oyetola 2022, obi vs tinubu 2023 supra.. again, he failed to present proofs showing he is an expert. He also claimed votes will be invalidated based on inec manual rather than the law |
IfnobeGod20:Even the famous 1993 elections still had minor rigging sir. What PDP have presented will go no where. Before PDP raised alarm of rigging,APC has been crying before the polls. The figures pdp governors gave where for only 11 lgas and mostly tallied with what inec gave. A simple cross examination of all pdp evidences in court have shown that it was false alarm or exaggeration of minor incidence |
Asue Ighodalo witnesses have turned the court to a circus |
The ongoing proceedings at the Edo State election tribunal have taken an unexpected twist, particularly for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). A witness for the party, Abubakar Uzairu, has admitted that Asue Ighodalo did not win the governorship election that took place on September 21, 2024. This admission came to light during cross-examination by Ferdinand Orbih SAN, counsel for the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC),. Uzairu’s confirmation undermines the assertions made by Ighodalo concerning his victory. This raises significant questions about the legitimacy of the PDP’s claims regarding the election results. While Uzairu did introduce the notion of “over voting” occurring in certain PDP strongholds, which could indicate potential electoral irregularities, it complicates the defence the PDP is attempting to construct. The implications of Uzairu’s testimony have severely weakened the PDP’s position in the tribunal, as it simultaneously acknowledges the APC’s victory while attempting to highlight issues that could suggest electoral misconduct in specific areas. The proceedings are being closely watched, and further developments are anticipated as the tribunal continues to investigate the claims and counterclaims made by PDP… https://infopowerng.com/2025/01/31/twist-as-pdp-witness-says-asue-ighodalo-lost-edo-governorship-election/ Mynd44 Nlfpmod Seunmsg Seun Chinjo2 Isokoiscool Donphilopus Ovb123 Helinues Ejimatic Fergie001 Zoedew Canadabust Michaelsokoto Sagitariusbaby |

ValarDoharis:From what I am seeing here, the evidences are scanty |
membranus:Naive |
ValarDoharis:How |
temisartana:There's nothing damning here |
Evergreen4:Which evidence? Evidence that failed under cross examination |
gaby:With all these watery evidences |
Wickedfacts:As in,Fergie is the one doing it meanwhile I posted something since morning on Edo and it has been neglected |
