mrksquare:
People that have one vote are endorsing a monumental and calamitous failure for second term. Is it not a child that passes his exam that is promoted to another class?

Even if the entire south endorses Tinubu, I will still not vote for him. The elite should keep endorsing and giving traction to failure as though the votes of the 99% class are in their pocket. We shall see in 2027 how it all pans out.
Tompolo does not control one vote sir, he controls the votes of most parts of Delta Ijaw sir. In the absence of Clark, he is now Ijaw leader in delta alongside Orubebe, Michael johnny and Sen Manager who are all in APC CC tutudesz

Three issues here:
- Why the belief that anyone who speaks ill of the present administration is an Igbo person? Are you saying it's only Igbos who can call out the ills of the present government? Others aren't doing the same thing?
- Why do you believe that no Igbo person believes or thinks that Tinubu would win come 2027? I'm one of such persons.
- What has the south south benefitted from being in the centre? It's not like Warri and Calabar ports are functioning or Ibom Port has been approved even after Udom Emmanuel begged Buhari tire.
70% of those against APC government are from SE. Ss are benefitting via the SSDC, Lagos Calabar road, Bodo Bonny road

There you go again oga. Where is the evidence that he is a Mauritanian? By the way, if he was a Mauritanian, why was he heavily involved in Nigerian elections? Again, we all hear and see daily, people of Nigerian descent, who contest and win elections all over the world. Has their Nigerianness reduced their citizenship of those countries? We law claim to then as our people, but when it is politically expedient, we claim that fellow Nigerians are no longer Nigerian. Presently the man handling the Calabar - Lagos highway is a Lebanese by his skin, but we all know that he is a Nigerian, as he is a citizen and holds a Nigerian passport, even as he has retired to France.

Which of the elections in Nigeria have we witnessed less rigging and vote buying. You supported Buhari, right? Have you forgotten how he famously stated that APC used remote control to get Oyetola into office, even as it was clear that APC was losing after the first counting? If a President could openly admit such a disgraceful act, how were the periods between 2003/07 worse?

When you use the words “Buhari tsunami”, do you want to pretend about the child voters in the north, who contributed to your imaginary tsunami? Even with the disenchantment instigated by APC in 2014, how would PDP have lost, if not for widespread wayo in the north? The same PDP members of the era that you quoted, include a man called Ibori, who has pulled Delta state into the APC fold, to your enjoyment. The same PDP members of the era include Ganduje and the immediate past APC chairman. Or have you not put them into account? Have you asked them to exclude themselves?
My dear, he who comes to equity must do so with clean hands. You must remove dirts in your house before pointing to that of another. Besides, rigging is almost impossible in the north esp by a non northerner. Even obj couldn't rig there...

If we must be honest, there was more rigging under PDP era. You forgot how elections where announced before voting is concluded by Iwu. With the advent of technology in 2011, rigging reduced a bit. The underage voting saga was over exaggerated. How many where there? Where there up to 21 mil? Did it affect buhari total votes? Are you aware there was voter inflation down south. Buhari was popular in core north so you can't question his massive figures. With the advent of bvas and cleaning of the voters register, you can see that voting turnout everywhere has been exposed especially in SS and SE since 2019. That of the north is down but still heavily higher than the south to show you that they vote more...

Yes osun was rigged but not the way pdp used to. PDP usually rig mindlessly by adding mysterious figures and gaping the opposition ridiculously but in osun, APC just prevented PDP voters from coming out to vote. No fake vote was added. I don't see vote buying as rigging as everybody indulges in it and it has been there since 1960, social media is only over hyping it. It is becoming rampant because rigging is becoming more harder...

In summary, the views of Hakeem and others are irrelevant as they opposed Tinubu in 2023. He would still win

I bet that a lot of you who are shoooking mouth, never knew that name until today.
Unfortunately, I am well grounded in politics, I have known the Mauritanian even before I knew his brother Datti who won via buhari tsunami in 2011 but was cut short by an appeal court. Him being a Mauritanian is another reason he lacks the Locus standi to speak on free and fair elections. Infact, the period between 2003-2007 witnessed the worst elections in Nigeria. Pdp people of that era should exclude themselves from political sanctity

I have never seen a party so committed to undermining democracy like the APC has done, just within a few years of existence. It shows that any union that does not prioritize common good, can only do worse.

The NASS just keeps getting weaker and weaker. Even their dream of turning Nigeria into a one-party state is the first sign of a failing democracy. Nigerians have to be serious about making their votes count. If not for our future, for the future of our children.

Lagos and Osun. Rumours had it that ekiti didn't vote him but he rigged it during the time server was shut down by the inec, same with Ondo. The votes obi got in lagos was more than what was declared. They reduced it to size, in likewise rivers. Those in the apc who had left him for coalition talks already knew how it played out. Elrufa, fayrmi, aregbe are among them. They'd ensure every loophole is blocked this time.
Any evidence? Why didn't Ekiti people protest ? Stop talking without evidence

The fight for the party leadership will be a big problem, we have Agege claiming to be the highest political office holder in Delta APC, we Ibori claiming to be the over all God father and we have the Governor.
That's why I said Agege has to move to PDP an Ibori won't have issues fielding him as his ex boy. Erhiatake can't go to senate now, Okpe Urhobo must complete their 8 years. Manager will wait for governorship in 2031 alongside Orubebe while isoko will still hold unto senate via Joel

DeLaRue:
People should understand that no APC Northern Governor going for 2nd term will risk not supporting the President.

Governors will think of their personal interest before any 'Northern' Agenda.

As an APC Governor in the North, it will be too risky to tell voters to vote against APC in the Presidential election, and vote APC in Governorship election.

The Northern PDP Governors that did that against Mr Jonathan were swept away from office alongside Mr Jonathan. Many of them lost power forever.

Current Northern APC Governors going for 2nd term will have learnt from that episode. They will not carry 'Northern Agenda' for head and jeopardise their own interest.
True, what will work for Tinubu up North is that majority of the governors are in their first term and won't risk going against the president

Did Jonathan win in the so-called core north? He didn't even bother himself. He focused on the south and middle belt, got a few consolation votes in the core north and defeated buhari and his 12m tribal or call it bloc votes grin.

Your narrative about tinubu would have been relevant in 2023, not now that everyone knows he has nothing to offer. Or can you mention one single achievement of Tinubu so far? Even those who voted him , thinking he'll walk his talk are backing off. Forget all the waves of defections here and there. Power rests in the hands of the electorate not politicians who are fighting for their pockets. I hope you saw what happened in lagos in 2023. We, same voters are still on ground and nothing can change our mind, except we see magic in Tinubu's government. We don't vote based on emotions or bigotry
Oga, Jonathan could avoid the core north because he got bloc votes in the south and won the north central. When he couldn't replicate this in 2015 he lost. Obi cannot get bloc votes in the south nor win NC so he can't win.

Political victories are determined by the political bigwigs not the electorates in Nigeria. Buhari failed to perform but won reelections. Majority of the politicians are with Tinubu and that's enough .Gej lost because majority of the politicians where against him. The defections matter that is why they are defecting sir. Only a naive fellow would say otherwise.majority of electorates may not be happy with Tinubu but it doesn't mean they would vote against him. Majority of the north will go Tinubu and atiku. Yoruba will still vote Tinubu, SS is divided. A lot of the electorate vote based on sentiments or who their political leaders endorse. In rural CRS, they vote who their leaders tell them and most of them are in APC.
The middle belt usually vote who shows them a sense of belonging or who isn't a radical Muslim and not about performance.
Tinubu lost Lagos by 10k votes because of some yorubas who voted obi and they are now regretting because the SE taunted them. Again, Tinubu will not allow that again. He will also win osun

Not true and my opinion. Atiku's votes were never touched cos his brother was the inec chair. Fulani don't do that to each other. Without the server being shut down, obi won the 2023 election. His votes were reduced to size by the apc fraudsters who went and shut down the server.

Again, all odds are against atiku right now and age is one of them. Secondly, a northern fulani man finished his 2 terms less than 2 years ago. I don't like tinubu but for the regional affiliation's sake, I'd vote him for a second term instead of atiku, if Obi isn't presented to fly the coalition flag. I'm sure the majority of the southerners are leaning in same direction. He's a formidable candidate. If atiku can support and work for him to north, he will beat tinubu.
Atiku can win because he can get bloc votes from core north, get good votes in NC, SS. His bloc votes in core north will always surpass obi votes in the south. Obi can't get bloc votes beyond SE. Obi did not win and cannot win against Tinubu or Atiku because he would always perform woefully in core north. Both Tinubu and atiku buried him in core north which surpassed obi votes in SS SE. Tinubu was always going to win him in NC because of kogi, kwara, Niger. Those Christian states like nasarawa, plateau benue don't give bloc votes.. he wasn't rigged out, he actually lost ..
See, not every northerner sees each other's as brothers. Atiku is not a pure Fulani and the real fulanis know. He is not a radical Muslim and is seen as a corrupt Muslim that is why the north don't like or date him.

you people should stop misleading the public please! Who told you Wole is the strongest politician in Osun for Christ sake! We should stop being sycophants for crying out loud. This guy has been there for long and still intending to go again and the party told him to go and contest the primary just tell me what he still wants again? Or perhaps he isn't sure of his popularity again. There are alot of prominent Ijesa politicians just like him. The problem APC is having is how they want to navigate the dicho of zoning because majority of the contestants do not want Osun central to rule again and if anything it's the Eastern part or the west to complete its 2 tenure to balance the political configuration of the state. And just write it down, after the western completes its 2 term, Ife axis is next
