Politics › Re: Yakubu Confirms Imminent ‘Exit’ As INEC Chairman, Bids Colleagues Goodbye by Akpakomiza2: 6:34am On Apr 13, 2025
Trustyourself:
2019 and 2023 presidential elections are the most fraudulent elections since the return of civilian rule in 1999.
History will never forget how Prof. Yakubu built and consolidated electoral fraud in Nigeria.
How was it fraudulent

AustineE1:
So you want to claim that APC didn't rig the presidential elections,it did and even if PDP and LP joined forces then,if its rigged, there is nothing anyone could have done.Take for example,Rivers state which clearly went for LP and PDP coming second but Wike magically gave it to APC and reason for being the min. Of FCT.
So many obvious cases of APC coming distant third but rigged.Dont forget Mahmoud's presidential election INEC server glitches. To mention but a few.
Oga, APC came second in rivers not PDP in the real results. APC never came third anywhere, don't add lies

Won North Central with what vote difference?
Won against obi by 300k and 700k against Atiku.
He would win nasarawa, get more votes in plateau and benue. Ofcourse he would lose Abuja but Wike would hustle 25%

No body gets North Central everyone cancels out everyone

It's looking like Obi running would be more bad news to Tinubu even
Lol, APC have always won north central since 2015. When it looked like they would lose in 2019 because of Fulani attacks and 2023 because of obi, they still won.

Obi contesting would make it easier for Tinubu sir as Atiku won't get anything in SE/SS. Infact, I prefer a tinubu vs Obi head to head as that would be the greatest electoral massacre. Atiku, kwankwaso, Gej are threats

South wont divide votes ? Can Tinubu win South West by 60% ?

In an election net vote is the most important thing
When I said north, I meant core north which is ne/nw. Tinubu already has NC. In 2023, Tinubu got 59% in SW which was like a bloc against two opponents, he would surely get more this time.
He would get 40% of SS that's if he doesn't win. SE is inconsequential as far as obi contest. With this, Tinubu gets nets votes rather than number of states.

Well let's assume inec declared results
So if he loses 70% of his northern votes where would he makes up the rest
He can't lose 70% of his votes to atiku and El rufai
Politics › Re: El-Rufai Will Be Atiku’s Placeholder In SDP If PDP Denies The Ticket - Galadima by Akpakomiza2: 9:07pm On Apr 11, 2025
ElevationD:
I think Buba Galadima has miscalculated completely.
By his words, I perceive that Galadima has in a subtle manner informed us of the intention of El Rufai to contest the Presidency in 2027 and 2031. El Rufai cannot be a placeholder to anyone; not even when he was not at this height in his political trajectory.

I do not foresee the fusing together of parties in the like of APC in 2014 happening again. Some of the major players in 2014, either have remained with the APC, decamped or chosen to stay aloof.

Atiku has over the years moved from PDP to ACN, to APC and back to PDP. He was also a member of SDP in the days of Abiola/Shehu Yaradua. The last election taught him a deep lesson. He lost two people strong persons because of his miscalculations. They were Peter Obi and Nyesom Wike. Obi had the people and Wike had the financial muscle. Presently, Atiku is getting de-marketed by Wike and co., but even at that, he has no reason at this stage of his political career to return to SDP, where he knows that his chances would be much lower.

We must also not forget that by their power sharing calculations, the South has a further four years to do after 2027. BAT intends to complete two terms as is customary with them. How to defeat BAT on the platform of PDP should be Atiku’s priority. Who will be the suitable southern candidate to go against BAT should be the priority. APC is the ruling party, with a strong southern candidate. APC will not give chances, especially as the party intends to handover to a northern candidate in 2031, if possible. Therefore northern members of the APC will not fold their hands and watch the party lose to any other party, not especially to the north in 2027.

How to reposition PDP, badly damaged by the same Galadima, Atiku and co, should be uppermost in his heart.

I do not expect SDP to make more inroads than it made in 2023. There’s no nationally accepted leader in the party, who can galvanize the citizens. El Rufai certainly is not in that mould.

No matter the permutations, moving over to SDP for 2027, will prove a costly mistake to Atiku.
Atiku is good in miscalculating so expect defection

The governors very smart here. They were not specific to Rivers state. The governors asked the supreme court to only interpret section 305 of the constitution and they never mentioned Rivers state. If the governors mentioned Rivers state, the SC will say they are meddlesome interlopers.
They actually mentioned rivers state...

That said... Declan is okay. But better than Rodri?!!

Abeg, stop that rough play. undecided
Sorry sir. Declan is fast, intercepts, marks, stops attacks and hardly commit bad fouls. He does clean tackles and interception, passes very well, scores, plates box to box. On the other hand, Rodri makes safe passes, hardly intercepts or tackles. Once you dribble pass him, he fouls you. Rice has added set pieces and deadball specialty to his game. Tell me how Rodri is better

Joseph Tegbe is a loyalist of Governor Seyi Makinde, a PDP member. President Tinubu appointed him as Director General Global liaison for the Nigeria-China strategic partnership. The Oyo State APC gubernatorial candidate in 2023 election, Teslim Folarin is yet to get any appointment. The currect minister of power, Adebayo Adelabu contested under Accord party in that election.
Who nominated a PDP member Tegbe for the position, likely Seyi Makinde.

If Tinubu doesn't win South by 70% minimum then he is done for... I feel it's impossible tho

South South would be hard to get 50% even with rigging
South East he won't even try it
South West that's his best chance
Middle belt best case scenario is 55%
Why do you guys like miscalculating national elections? You are repeating same thing of 2023. He does not need to win the entire south or north. All he needs is 35-40% of core north,30% of SS. You already know he will win SW and NC. He doesn't need SE so whatever he gets there is a bonus. The only threat is if Gej contests or Atiku contests without Obi contesting in a two horse race
