Only rigging can save him this time around. The North, SE and some part of SS are not with him. Even SW votes are always divided. How do he expect to win?
Half of the north is with him and half of SS. He has NC already
Politics › Re: Judgment Analysis: Report Me To LPDC, Falana Dares Wike by Akpakomiza2: 1:38pm On Apr 21, 2025

Falana is right.
We can't have two conflicting judgements by the same supreme court.
You can't say the legislators who defected in Ondo state has automatically lost their seats and say a different thing for Rivers state lawmakers who defected. We all watched their defection on TV.
The supreme court has lost credibility
Oga, the defection matter in ondo was not in debate. Even the lawmakers Abegunde agreed that he defected, that wasn't the case in Rivers

spiSeyi:
This the only way to defeat PBAT and for PO to be president bcs he lacks the political strength to pull large numbers of polls in the North and SW. But Atiku has the political Prowess to share SW with PBAT and probably outrun Tinubu in the North then the SE will go all out to PO while SS might be shared equally. Obedient shouldn't feel too important, Atiku with Oyo, Osun + Ekiti and the North is enough to defeat Tinubu and Obi. Atiku only loss in 2023 bcs he couldn't secure Oyo state and Ekiti and with what Tinubu and Wike is doing to Rivers I can say that 60% of SS will return to PDP. PO might end up as the greatest loser Atiku just needs to pick up someone like Seyi Makinde (Oyo state Governor ) if PO didn't let down his ego to vice him then case closed
Atiku is finished in SS

If all 3 should contest, Tinubu will win( sorry rig) Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Delta just like the did in Rivers in the last election. Tinubu will win South West massively because of the hate we are seeing now between the Yorubas and the Igbos.he will rig small front the north and small from APC governed South East states to be declared the winner
Tinubu will win Atiku up north again

AMINDA:
You need to be on ground in the North today to understand that's a pipedream. That was the untested Tinubu who got so much hype as the "builder of Lagos" and one whom the North owed a "favour". Tinubu has now been tested and demystified. Even the Northern APC governors cannot come out now to openly canvass for votes for Tinubu without risking their re-election chances, unlike their Southern counterparts.
You are the one generalizing and wrongly so. Another reason buhari usually cleared the north is because he was the most popular person in all the northern states and all the nooks and crannies of the North except maybe Pantami. Buhari is more popular in Kano than than kwankwaso, popular in sokoto than Wamakko etc. can you say the same for Atiku sir? Ofcourse no sir. That's one of the reasons atiku lost to Tinubu up North, a lot of local politicians who supported Tinubu are more popular than Atiku. 40% of sokoto people will vote who Wamakko supports, 40% of zamfara people follow Yari/Yerima,40% Jigawa follow Badaru,40% follow kwankwaso in Kano,40% of Borno with Shettima. You can see Atiku lost in all these places or won narrowly.

Places where Atiku won well like Gombe,Kaduna,Bauchi is because he's the most popular politician there in the absence of Buhari. No local politician matches him. In kaduna, Hunkuyi, El rufai, Makarfi, Kudan are do not have statewide popularity. Same thing in Bauchi, politicians there including Bala and Ningi are popular in pockets of areas. Same in Gombe although Goje who could have helped Tinubu was neutral because of his fight with the governor. Ofcourse Adamawa is Atiku home state. He could have won Taraba heavily but obi divided his Christian votes. So sir, Atiku does not have the popularity and carriage to unite the north. In any case, atiku has lost the north central already
Politics › Re: 3 PDP Governors Plan Defection To APC, Back Tinubu's Re-election Bid - ThisDay by Akpakomiza2: 11:02am On Apr 20, 2025
AMINDA:
Not entirely correct. If all 3 are on the ballot, Atiku will win with overwhelming Northern support. The North gave Tinubu 5.6m votes in 2023. The dynamics of 2023 are not the same now. Obi will only share the Southern votes with Tinubu and might actually still get the upperhand irrespective of some governors decamping to the APC. Obi contesting will also kill any agenda of "It's the turn of the South" that Tinubu may be looking to use in galvanising his base. Tinubu may be influencing the elites but the people on the ground are not with him.
Tinubu will share northern votes with atiku

He didn't come second position. I was in the field during the election. Atiku is more popular than Tinubu in Rivers state. That's the fact.
Oga sir, from the results obi brought which shows obi won, Tinubu actually came second. I before wike started changing results, tinubu came second in most polling units...
You are very funny. Where you in the entire field of rivers state? Election in SS is not about popularity but structure and power. Once wike abandoned atiku, atiku was going to fail

It is also hilarious when people call Tinubu elected President. We all knew what transpired in Rivers state, where a man that came third position in the Presidential election suddenly and mysteriously came 1st position.
He took second in rivers. Restoring obi votes won't take away his overall victory

With this the Title Olu of Warri which the Itsekiri got with wuruwuru is now clear to all . Itsekiri has been minority in the 3 Federal constituency but used their closeness to Yoruba to falsify their population. Today it is clear that they are minority in the three local governments . A tribe without a single local government in the state is claiming they own Warri because of the wuruwuru title of Olu of Warri.
Itsekiris outnumber Ijaws in Warri north and SW

The Supreme Court made a judgement on a matter that was never brought before them in Appeal.

Then they proceeded to talk about how there was no defection because there was never a house of Assembly..(that's the one and only reason they gave for judging there was no defection.)

Such triviality!
Same manner a Country's Senate would treat a case of Suspending an elected Governor by using a voice vote to determine 2/3rds approval.

Is Nigeria really not a joke??

The same Assembly that were sitting at a section of the assembly complex and passed over 20 bills, a few of which they attempted to rely on to impeach Fubara.

Any way the Supreme Court has always said we must obey them because they are the final.
Not because they are not fallible.

Surely they are fallible,, and there are many circumstances that make them fallible,,,,

In some cases they are genuinely fallible, in other cases they are "willingly" fallible.
The wailing is not necessary. I told you that the apex court ruling killed all cases at the lower courts, you didn't agree. Fubara will keep losing

This is a welcome development. The indigenous Ijaws and the Urhobos have been tremendously marginalized in the 3 Warri local government area. The recent delineation of wards is quite a reassurance of hope for democracy in Nigeria. Kudus to the Supreme court for the ruling.

I have told you, it's not about Wike but PDP.
There was no money for Wike to play with and it showed he couldn't fight anymore, so he runs to Tinubu to act.

LG elections must be conducted before Fubara returns.
PDP National Convention holds in November, major financier is Rivers.

Was NBA conference not moved?
PDP was supposed to hold SS Zonal Congress in PH last Saturday, no way.

No new date and venue for now. So it's not about Wike alone but strictly 2027.
Wike is fully in APC.
