If you know him in Osun state...obokun/oriade fed constituency you wont say this...PDP lost a big wig...However, his performance in the constituency isnt on merit..But he gave nothing less tha 100 jobs... from his personal employment, to federal jobs like the army, civil defence, lecturing jobs and more...

but he didnt help in upgrading his home town Esa OKE...He is going to join the APC i have seen his romance the moment he asked Rauf Aregbesola to go and beg Tinubu..Tinubus henchmen are galvanizing for 2027...by the time he is done, the North wont dare again...
This might cost Adeleke reelection

Atiku has a better chance of winning Tinubu than Obi

The Governor told him he has someone else in mind.

Definitely, heading to the APC.
This is the strongest politician and grassroots politician in osun. It is a heavy blow. He should have been allowed to go for senate

I don't mean Kwara. I am talking about NW & NE.
Sokoto governor is APC, Wamakko the political huncho of sokoto is APC. With PDP ruling zamfara and yari loyalty unsure, zamfara is dicey plus matawalle is unpopular. Gov Idris holds kebbi strongly buy Aliero still remains popular though I heard he may decamp. I think Katsina is safe same as Jigawa. Atiku will still take kaduna but not southern kad. Kano is safe as far as Rabiu doesn't support the coalition.
Yobe will go Tinubu this time alongside Borno. Nothing much will change in Gombe and Bauchi. Same as Taraba and Adamawa

The reason he hasn't declared publicly yet is because of the reason you gave.

Ned nwoko isn't an issue but Agege and ogboru. With this song, he has already declared. I see Fintiri and perhaps muftwang moving

Okowa is likely joining him, though they are fine-tuning the deal because of Omo-Agege and others.

It's a South v North thing now... The North won't give Asiwaju what he got in 2023.
Okowa can't join apc, Ibori and wike won't allow that. Omo Agege worked against Tinubu reportedly so he is inconsequential. He would likely decamp back to PDP or Lp. But sheriff doesn't need to decamp as delta is more of pdp. Places like delta north won't vote APC.

It's not a north vs south thing. 40% of the north are still with him. His vote loss is marginal and when you say north, north central isn't inclusive

You are deviating from the meat of the issue. You still haven't told me the law that empowers the President to remove the President in the 1999 constitution as amended
I already pointed out the emergency act of 1962 which is covered by section 305 of the constitution. Besides precedents by obj enables it. Gej illegally removed Sanusi as cbn governor, Salami as appeal court president so Tinubu is better

When I said you are incorrigible I wasn't mincing words. How can the constitution be silent on such fundamental issue as the suspension of a sitting governor. Then if the Federation is at war, then it means the President can be suspended for the military to take over.

Do you know that the reason the military staged the first coup in Nigeria was owing to the State of emergency that Prime Minister Tafa Belewa declared in the Western region.
I understand, you are still aggrieved by the Fubara treatment not about the law. The bitter truth is that fubara cannot win wike. I might not like wike but if fubara still continues fighting, he will be humiliated more and more. Keep sentiments aside

Tinubu's plans to capture all the states in the south south will surely backfire.
The North is against him.
The middle belt is against him.
The south east is against him.
Now the werey wants to capture the south south inorder to rig his way to power again in 2027 but God is seeing the cries of innocent Nigerians who are crying daily for being killed by Bandits and are facing severe hunger.
That same God will terminate his plans.
The middle belt is with Tinubu

Quite well OBJ suspended two governors, which was ultra vires. The constitution confers on the President the power to declare a State of Emergency but the constitution didn't empower that the President has power to suspend the authority of the State in the process. OBJ erred during his time. Jonathan got it right by not suspending the governors of Yobe, Adamawa and Borno when he declared emergency rule in the three States. Tinubu was a fierce critic to the emergency rule by Obasanjo and Jonathan even though Jonathan still maintained the governing structures in the three States.

I am surprised that you had to quote the same law that Prime Minister Tafa Belewa used in declaring State of Emergency in the Western Region to back up Tinubu constitutional gaffe in Rivers state. You are just incorrigible. Section 1 of the 1999 constitution as amended states that: "Any law that conflicts with the constitution is invalid to the extent of the conflict"
There is no conflict. The constitution is silent on suspension of a governor. A state of emergency simply means governance has failed, democratic institutions in a state have failed and must give way for the fg to handle. That is why the state assembly is taken over by the nass. Section 305 of the constitution covers the emergency act. The supreme court in 2006 failed to rule against the suspension of plateau governor which indirectly validates that suspension. Anyway I gave you other instances where tinubu is a better democrat

You have started again. The most democratic that declared emergency rule and suspended a sitting governor even when the constitution doesn't confer such power on him. The most democratic president that is sowing discord and division in opposition parties in Nigeria.

If Jonathan had toed the same path he is deploying, APC would not have won the Presidential election in 2015. The same President that partook in protest but under his administration, he is quick at deploying police to quell street protest.
Did obj not suspend two governors? Even Gej declared emergency. The emergency act of 1962 grants him power to suspend a governor sir.. every president deploys security to quell protests sir so this point is useless.

Gej recognized an illegal speaker who had 12 members against the one with 18 members in Ogun because he feared Gbenga Daniels. Under Gej, we had illegal impeachments of Adamawa gov and deputies of Ondo and Kogi. Your remember the chairman of governors forum where Gej recognized Jang who had lesser governors against Amechi? Should I go on? How many have you seen under Tinubu

And to think this fellow with handle above was engaging in voodoo economics on this platform by reeling out the illusionary wonders of APC government of Tinubu.

The macroeconomy policy of Tinubu's government isn't engendering inclusive growth. Tinubu's scorecard is very abysmal. Security: zero, Economy: Zero, Enthronement of democratic ethos: zero. Ensuring inclusivity in a diverse country like Nigeria: zero.

The man just became president just for the optics and the razzmatazz the offices confers on the occupant.
The latest Fitch, imf and Jp Morgan ratings rated Tinubu well economically. The government is tackling insecurity far better than buhari. Tinubu has appointed and spread his appointments more than buhari. Tinubu is the most democratic president since 1999 except yaradua

President Tinubu has 36% votes cast and that's not a mandate.

No President has that meagre support from voters without forming a coalition. Even in the National Assembly, the APC elected a Speaker with fewer members than the opposition without forming a coalition unheard of in a democracy.
So who has the mandate? Obi or Atiku with lower percentages

This the only way to defeat PBAT and for PO to be president bcs he lacks the political strength to pull large numbers of polls in the North and SW. But Atiku has the political Prowess to share SW with PBAT and probably outrun Tinubu in the North then the SE will go all out to PO while SS might be shared equally. Obedient shouldn't feel too important, Atiku with Oyo, Osun + Ekiti and the North is enough to defeat Tinubu and Obi. Atiku only loss in 2023 bcs he couldn't secure Oyo state and Ekiti and with what Tinubu and Wike is doing to Rivers I can say that 60% of SS will return to PDP. PO might end up as the greatest loser Atiku just needs to pick up someone like Seyi Makinde (Oyo state Governor ) if PO didn't let down his ego to vice him then case closed
Atiku is finished in SS

AMINDA:
You need to be on ground in the North today to understand that's a pipedream. That was the untested Tinubu who got so much hype as the "builder of Lagos" and one whom the North owed a "favour". Tinubu has now been tested and demystified. Even the Northern APC governors cannot come out now to openly canvass for votes for Tinubu without risking their re-election chances, unlike their Southern counterparts.
You are the one generalizing and wrongly so. Another reason buhari usually cleared the north is because he was the most popular person in all the northern states and all the nooks and crannies of the North except maybe Pantami. Buhari is more popular in Kano than than kwankwaso, popular in sokoto than Wamakko etc. can you say the same for Atiku sir? Ofcourse no sir. That's one of the reasons atiku lost to Tinubu up North, a lot of local politicians who supported Tinubu are more popular than Atiku. 40% of sokoto people will vote who Wamakko supports, 40% of zamfara people follow Yari/Yerima,40% Jigawa follow Badaru,40% follow kwankwaso in Kano,40% of Borno with Shettima. You can see Atiku lost in all these places or won narrowly.

Places where Atiku won well like Gombe,Kaduna,Bauchi is because he's the most popular politician there in the absence of Buhari. No local politician matches him. In kaduna, Hunkuyi, El rufai, Makarfi, Kudan are do not have statewide popularity. Same thing in Bauchi, politicians there including Bala and Ningi are popular in pockets of areas. Same in Gombe although Goje who could have helped Tinubu was neutral because of his fight with the governor. Ofcourse Adamawa is Atiku home state. He could have won Taraba heavily but obi divided his Christian votes. So sir, Atiku does not have the popularity and carriage to unite the north. In any case, atiku has lost the north central already
