You see at this point it is the Bible which was written by Jews that was talking about God's promise to give Abraham the land already belonging to other people, so therefore the ownership of the land you are claiming for the Israelis is Biblical and not Historical. Go and try that nowadays that your imaginary God has promised you the land somewhere that already had others on it and see where that gets you.
The Canaanites according to history were accommodating and so the Israelis flourished inn the land of Canaan which belonged to the CANAANITES who were neither Jews nor Arabs, until after the time of Joseph when the Egyptians invaded and shipped them off to slavery in Egypt. We all know the story of their sojourn in Egypt and how Moses was able to liberate them, in the interregnum however, there have been other people living on the land including the original dwellers the Canaanites, so that when they eventually got their freedom from Egypt, the 'God' of the Bible once again promised them the lands which already have people flourishing on it
