new2020: Very shameless yoruba man. Lagos maybe in SW however very different from Osun, Ondo, Oyo, Oyo, Ogun and Ekiti in that 80% of taxes and duties paid into its coffers are by non yorubas...keep that in mind. When next you see Fashola commissioning a project...say big thank you to the non yorubas who are funding it through their taxes and duties. You think Lagos can function without them? You people should be very careful how carelessly you speak. Also say big thank you to the Niger Delta for your behemoth monthly allocation...you think you can survive without this handout by generous Niger Delta people? Speaking as a Niger Deltan, the day you Yoruba will marginalize any non yoruba in Lagos, be prepared to lose your federal monthly allocation and non payment of taxes and duties by non Yorubas...let's see how you will survive. You think Lagos would have attained its current economic and social status without nom yorubas and federal character? You want one Nigeria, you must abide by every law that glues us as Nigerians. What is dis one saying? So other tribes in the East don't pay tax? And u said if other non-yorubas don't pay tax hw do we survive. If u and your people are tired of paying tax why not go back to the east and pay your tax there. I don't even know how some people reason sef. |

Obj...... Ebora of Owu. Politics is all about calculation. U don't think about d benefit of today in politics but that of tomorrow. Obasanjo knows that Jonathan's regime will destroy PDP's legacy hence baba has to pitch his tent with the winning team. But those flat heads will never learn their lesson, instead of them to join the winning team, they won't rather they will fill their minds with hatred and jealousy. Anyway, it isn't their fault, democracy is all about opposition, checks and balances etc!!! |

ziccoit: These people are using their states allocation for monumental projects while some are embezzling and mismanaging the huge sum allocated to them. Very soon, they would be shouting of marginalization. Don't mind them. Very useless set of people |

Politics › Re: The Igbos And The Nigeria Politics. by akpumping7720(op): 12:07am On Apr 09, 2015 |
focus7: Talking of over estimation, igbos indeed always think they have some sort political significant to determine the success of any political party in Nigeria. I must says that the south south or the north central has more political worth than the igbos, any politician who really want political success on the national level wouldn't take igbos support more serious than necessary. Igbos political significant can only be useful in igbo land. When I heard Igbo that cannot sustain apga claimed they want to make pdp a regional opposition party I laughed and can only predict the demise of pdp if it is going to depend on igbos support. Already, we have started witnessing series of defections taking place in Niger Deltan and North Central regions from pdp to the great APC, but the empty drum, chest beating and self over rating igbos wants to remain adamant to make pdp a regional party, that is RIP to pdp just as apga. No mind them |
