I quoted d above statement from a nairalander's comment on a particular topic today. Truth be said, d above statement needs to be written on a golden slate. The igbos need to look inwards if they really want to have a say in Nigeria politics. The average igbo is Proud and always full of himself. I respect the igbos a lot because they are very INDUSTRIOUS and INTELLIGENT. They have contributed a lot to the Nigerian economy directly and indirectly. There is no sector you wouldn't find an igbo man in Nigeria. But they have little say in the Nigeria Political system.
.Even almighty God himself respect HUMBLE people. Ojukwu can avoid d civil war if he hadn't prove stubborn that he can't receive order from Gowon because he is superior to him in rank, but truth be told, the Igbos need to learn the art of the game by learning how to be humble and loyal to other tribes. We have a saying in yoruba that 'if we should postrate for a dwarf, it doesn't mean that we will grow shorter when we get up'. Being loyal doesn't make you a 'butt licker'. Large deposit of oil is in the Niger Delta and not in the core east, that was why the presidency was zoned to them. It is true that Nigeria belongs to us all but there are some set of cabals that only revolution can cast them away, they determine who will be there and who is to come. The Ndigbos need to go back and learn how to play the card well. Buhari wouldn't have won if he didn't align with the Southwest to win the Presidency. If a yoruba man wants to get something that will be difficult for him to get, he doesn't mind calling d person daddy even if he is old enough to give birth to that person, he can even go as far as postrating just to get it. Let the igbos come together in one voice and support one of their own and do away with 'Pride', I believe if they can do this, they will one day Rule this nation and have a prolong say in the Nigeria Political System.

God bless u for this. Their stubborness brought down GEJ. I don't know what is wrong with them, Ojukwu did d same thing during the Civil War and still they haven't learn their lesson. They can't afford to win Ekiti and lose Lagos state. Fayose should just be having fun for now while it last coz APC cannot have it all. Forget the bible or the Quran, d bible made us to understand that the people who followd christ were first called 'Christians' at Antioch. Making of sacrifice was the main traditional way of communicating with God in those days, d sacrificing of lambs and so on. The prophets of God were just lucky to be supernaturally blessed as good orators and miracle performers by God or Allah just because they devote themselves and God himself does as he wishes. Even in Mecca in those days, dey worship idols, so why do we want to kill ourself over getting the authentic scriptures or which religion is from God. Go and ask ur Imam, even the quran cannot be complete just as the bible. Look at the number of years that this events has been recorded on scrolls before they are transferred into handy books and u still want them to remain intact. Nowhere! So, bros pls take it easy. Even the bible says if all that happens was to be recorded, even the whole earth will not contain it which means the bible isn't complete then, jesus spent 33 plus on earth and all we could came up with is a mere content of 4 gospel books and each book doesn't even reach chapter 1000 to give every account, d samething is applicable to Muhammad. So pls, d Quran and d Bible were messages believed to be from God and it has been passed down from generation till generation. So we don't need to continue to argue on baseless facts. Even if u ave ur facts with u, how are u sure that they are 100 percent genuine? Nigerians and some part of Africa are known to be idol worshippers, the middle east introduce Islam to us while the Europeans came with christianity but all in all we serve only one God.
