Atiku not attending the program to me is not really a big deal, the issue is his lying that he wasn't invited. Abdulsalam now Kukah, persons you would say are not necessarily fans of Buhari have come out to refute Atiku's claim. If he can lie about something as trivial as this, how can he be trusted to tell the truth in bigger matters.

Feelers have it that there was a secret plan by the Interpol to arrest Atiku and hand him over to the US authorities but this information leaked to the Atiku camp who immediately made a U turn after giving assurances that he would be available for the signing ceremony.
