I am sure if news came out that NOI refused to approve funds meant to buy military hardware for the fight against terrorism, you will be among the first to label her a boko sponsor and posit that the SE is in support of terrorism against the north.

From your point of view, you accept there was misappropriation of funds but NOI's principal (GEJ) not NOI should be held accountable. According to you, she was just following instructions right? I see nothing wrong in her coming to throw more light on how she followed instructions given to her by her boss.

Why not raise the issue before the visit and possibly push for a different date. Why come up with this discourse now, days after the visit? It never was an issue until revealed by this defender of Christianity.
We complain of people dividing us along political and religious lines when we do the same thing. Many blabbing about this now never thought of it until now. We are all hypocrites in our different ways.

It is a container for funds accruing above crude oil sales receipt.
It is definitely not for the rainy day. Define rainy day.
Rainy day funds go to sovereign wealth funds SWFs, strategic saving accounts earning interest and portions of the external reserves can be savings.

We need to save the steel industry. The expected GAINS are earth shaking. It can do to the economy even more than Dangote 's refinery.

You hammered so much on the importance of the project to Nigeria, I agree with you completely and I believe a lot of Nigerians know how well the steel and other products from Ajaokuta will boast our economy. The issue is that Ajaokuta has REMAINED UNPRODUCTIVE after many years of pumping billions into it by various governments. Continuing to pump in money may not work because it has never worked in these past years and we cannot allow such potential asset to waste. l think we should involve, REPUTABLE and CAPABLE investors to run it, based on GENUINE agreement that will favour our economy and create jobs.

It is may not be in the interest of Dogara if Atiku becomes president, except he does not want to continue as a speaker in the next dispensation. Atiku and Dogara are from the Northeast. Mathematical equation may not favour him.
Saraki joining Atiku or staying with Buhari may not stop him from being a senator but being a Senate president may be another kettle of fish.
Scenario 1. If Saraki joins Atiku and he wins, it may be a cake walk for him to continue as senate president, all things being equal. If Atiku loses, he becomes David Mark.
Scenario 2. If he stays with Buhari and Buhari wins, he may or may not continue as Senate president. He may be rewarded for his loyalty or chastised for being a rebel in the first dispensation. If Buhari loses, well he becomes like that guy that was once was....
The big picture; can Atiku win Buhari. The reality is that he can't. I will not go into that melodrama, but he simply can't.

Truth is that PDP need money and unfortunately none of the Yoruba candidates can provide that. Wike is willing to foot the bills with Rivers state money hence Secondus carried the day.
The north will continue to propagate their political agenda with the resources of the SS especially Rivers state. The losers here are the people of Rivers state not even the Yoruba.
NB. That Secondus is the chairman of the PDP does translate into Wike et al being in charge. The north is and when the time comes, decisions will be taken to suit them.

2 bags of rice were delivered to me from Abakaliki at 11K each. Husk free, stone free, fresh and purely organic. Keep wasting your money consuming poison in the name of foreign rice; like the ones I saw being off loaded from cement carrying Dangote truck last Wednesday at Mile 3 market. These are discarded grains that have stayed for months and even years in horrible unhygienic conditions before getting to our market.
Apart from the unhealthy nature of these imported rice, have you asked yourself what it cost Nigeria to import those rice you bought at one naira. You wasted your foreign exchange importing rice that we can produce here in Nigeria, thereby hurting our economy while boosting that of other countries as well as creating jobs for their citizens while ours remain unemployed.
But you know what, local rice production has skyrocketed and keeps doing so. People are making money from rice production; you can go and see what is happening in Ebonyi state. Also there has been a drastic decline in rice importation. For people like you who still prefer the imported rice, no wahala just pay whatever you're asked to pay and don't come here to claim that the price has not depreciated after all imported rice is contraband.
Nigeria's case would have been like that of Venezuela (where in the quest for popularity, their president became a father Christmas just like our Jonathan) now but thank God, the waste is being tackled as people are now looking inwards. Of course this comes with some pains but that is the sacrifice we must make for better tomorrow, something we would have done way back.
It can only get better.

That Atiku's support base "perceived to be concentrated in the SE, I must say is an albatross on his neck. His northern brethren coming to this conclusion will be a fatal blow to his 2019 ambition. Because he will be seen as a traitor and all efforts will be put at stopping him.
See what will play out if Atiku becomes PDP candidate. A dummy will be sold out that Atiku is an Igbo candidate, that the Igbo had entered some secret accord with Atiku. Now if you believe it or not, there is a deep seated political distrust the northerners have towards the Igbos. They will fight to maintain the edge they have politically.
Northerners are not the only ones that have distrust towards the Igbo, I will say all the tribes in Nigeria do. For the fact that the Igbo are clamoring for Atiku as the president of Nigeria is one reason many people may not vote for him. Why, because Igbo cannot be trusted, why are they supporting Atiku to be president; something is not right. You may ask yourself why many who had called Nigeria zoo, the Hausa Fulani, all sorts of unprintable names and even the total destruction of Nigeria are the very ones chanting Atiku; an Hausa Fulani to be president.
SE is not strong enough to make Atiku president. One reason is that traditionally a lot of them do not vote and secondary, the votes they will give can be neutralized by a state in the north. May explain why MKO said they were insignificant in him being president.
It is therefore highly imperative for Atiku to know that the support he thinks he enjoys may actually be a baggage.

Hi guys, I have an ongoing project in Benin but I was supplied the electrician I contracted does not know about the installation of lightening arrestor in fact he is talking me out of it.
I got a guy who said he would bury the copper tape from the arrestor together with the earthing cable 6mm from the DB. Please I don't know if am getting this right. Some info on lightening arrestor installation will be appreciated. Thanks
