I have about 3 people who have provided receipts of payment into my First Bank account and this is about the 3rd day with no credit to my account. Infant one of the payments involved myself and a lot of other people and incidentally, those with First Bank have similar problem. I met someone who said First and Union banks were having network issues or whatever. I don't even hear this mentioned anywhere in the social media platforms. Can anybody collaborate this? |
erico2k2:Thanks bro. Just looking for cheap flight to UK Settled with Turkish airline |
Hello, who has travelled to UK with Egyptair. I'm thinking of using them to UK. Reviews are welcome |

Good morning all. Please can I pay/book for an appointment while am yet to fill my application. I'm still filling my application for a standard visa but someone suggested I could secure an appointment date before that is completed |
GeneralKoko:Without a doubt, you live in PH. We know the game of the greedy land graber! |
I agree that people can protest in whatever way they choose. However being intimidated to do so or staying indoors out of fear negates all sense of free will. I would rather you present to an artisan the option of sitting at home to shame Buhari and Hope and going out to fend for himself and family. Let him therefore choose freely and not coaxed into taking the former. I feel concerned because I deal with these peasants and to them any day without a job is tantamount to a day without food. It is easier to write from the comfort of home when you've not felt the pain. |
It is now on record that President Buhari visited Imo state albeit stories that may now fly around concerning how the people welcomed him. For those who know the president's pattern in terms of visiting states, this should be one of those rare occurrences in his administration. Perhaps what might be interesting in this visit was the call by a separatist group in the Southeastern Nigeria, commonly called IPOB for Imo residents to stay indoors on the 9th of September as a protest to the visit by Mr president. It is also worthy of note that this same group has now perfected the act of barring people within their enclave from the streets at their whim and caprices. I do believe that people can express their misgivings in whatever way they choose, however, it must be constitutional, free from intimidation and does not infringe on someone else's right. I am yet to understand how the Imo residents gained from yesterday's sit at home. Did it hurt Buhari or Hope; the state governor? Who gained and who lost. If you ask me, the regular guy who goes out every morning to struggle for his needs and who could not do so yesterday is the ultimate loser. Some people were bragging how Imolites stayed home yesterday away from Buhari's visit. Then I asked, who lost? Is it Buhari that planned to be in Imo state and indeed came and left or the person who would've gone to search for his daily bread but didn't?. The irony of it is that the areas the president would ply, would've been cordoned off anyways to limit human traffic. It therefore meant that this action was a favour done to Buhari's security details as it made their job a lot easier. The story of "abuzo" (giant termite) that was put in the fire comes to mind. While burning it exuded oil, believing it was undoing the person that put it in the fire. Cut your nose to spite your face I guess! Let's be smart |

No mention has been made of the person visiting Imo State as being someone else but Buhari. Even those that labelled him an imposter have refrained from advancing such in recent times. Can it be said that the dead has come back to life? |
TonyeBarcanista:I said the Kebbi ruling should not have occurred under NORMAL circumstances but because of the collusion of the judiciary and the politicians, law has become subjective rather than objective. Unfortunately, verdicts obeyed depend entirely on the choice of the power brokers. Don't exonerate Wike |
I want to say that the title of this piece would've been "who has bewitched Secondus and Wike". The writer has chosen this theme perhaps because he believes that Wike is the saint here who has rightly followed the legal path without any untoward interference to achieve the verdict that emerged from Degema court while Secondus has fraudulently gotten his from Kebbi. Looking at the two rulings, one thing is clear to any unbiased observer and that is the two " get K-leg". Gbasan who is the judge that gave the interim injunction in Rivers state sacking Secondus is a young judge appointed by Wike last year (I stand to be corrected). He has remained a viable tool in the hand of Wike to execute political cases. ( You can check his controversial ruling just days after his appointment as a judge in an APC Rivers case. Now the Kebbi case is also another "political ruling" the politicians now manipulate the judiciary to give. Like the OP rightly mentioned, it is a court of coordinate jurisdiction therefore such ruling should not have occurred. However, the saying that he who comes to equity must come with clean hands suffices in matters on this nature. Is the Degema ruling proper and devoid of collusion and judgement commercialization?. I think that it is the same belief by the hawks in Rivers State that the courts can be manipulated is still the belief by those in Kebbi State. It has therefore turned into a battle of judicial chicaneries where all is determined by the greater power. Sadly, the judiciary makes the f00l of themselves while the country suffers for it. |
When I saw the news on Channels around 8PM about this court judgement, Gbasan (the judge) immediately came to my mind and wolla it turned out to be him. Wike just made him a judge to use him. I really pity him and hope that he would not destroy his career doing Wike's hatchet job. He is a young judge and has emersed himself in political cases. I know he owes his ascension to the attorney general of Rivers state but he has to be careful. |
SlayerForever:She already has the names in her international passport and it is said that the 2 documents must have similar names. |
Hello good people. I really do not know the best section to post this. I went to register my daughter for the NIN. She has three names excluding the surname and I was told that the space could contain only 2 names except I joined 2 names with a hyphen. The operator actually tried it to convince me and it appeared to be so. However, my child's Int'l passport contains the 3 names creating a huge discrepancy in the 2 documents if it is hyphenated. Has anyone encountered this problem and any advice on how to go about it. Thanks. |

emilo2bad:It's really not my business bro, just wanted to know how critics of the former administration are reporting the activities of the present one. Is it bad to know? |
Up Biden!. I just watched CNN for the first time in years, don't ask me why? Biden may go down as one of the lusterless presidents in US history. His handling of immigration and foreign affairs has been a great disaster. The US economy has remained flat and people would wish it returned to the Trump pre-Covid era. On Covid 19 which was the fulcrum of his campaign, he has done nothing new aside giving out the massive vaccine doses procured by Trump. It turned out that the criticism of Trump may be a sham after all. Perhaps, you can now guess why I tuned to CNN after a prolonged hiatus. |
Wike is unsure of what happens to Nigeria but he's busy building these private monuments in his Obio Akpo home. The tactic is take away the focus on himself and push it to the centre while he portrays himself as a saint. Yet the gullible ones hail him |
Abagworo:I see your point hence I can't dispute it, however, the riverine particularly the Okirika/Kalabari know they goofed big time in dying for Wike to be governor. Apart from Amaechi voicing that power moves to the riverine, they appear quite about it, perhaps, they are just sulking in their misadventure with Wike. |
E don do the Riverine voom na anya. They allowed emotions becloud their sense of reasoning by installing Wike as the governor. The blood of mostly Riverine was used to install Wike as governor and interestingly the Riverine willfully gave this blood even against their own; Dakuku. Power has come to stay with Ikwerre, being the most popular ethnic group in Rivers State, they can dispense it the way they want. Although Amechi may have his selfish reason to want a riverine as a governor (who doesn't), the riverine stabbed themselves when they allowed and worked for another Ikwerre to succeed Amaechi. Patience who spear headed this in the belief that Senator Sekibo would step in after Wike must have been used to wrestle power from Amaechi obviously saw the mistake when her husband was not reelected. There is now this disquiet within the riverine group having realised their error but it seems they will repeat it once again. |
The whole documents have gone a great length to prove a relationship existed between the poster and Mrs. Ezekwesili, however, it failed to show that the former minister gave him the CONSENT to have her name in his company which I suppose is the bone of contention. |

Wike's ascendancy to the national politics depends a lot on what happens to Secondus. If Secondus manages to secure a second term, Wike's aspiration goes up in flames. However, if he could get a replacement for Secondus then he has a chance to play at that level. Nevertheless, what is certain is that Wike cannot weld same power he used to produce the national chairman now. |
The hold Wike has on Rivers now is certainly not as firm as before. The truth is that Abe's action in Rivers APC has the discreet support of Wike. The plan was to keep APC structure away from Amaechi. Recall that Abe group claimed that APC would be part of the upcoming LGA elections in Rivers. The plan had been to allow them (Abe APC) "win" some LGAs, in so doing, presenting Abe as a true and relevant APC leader in Rivers state after who could win elections which Amaechi could not. Now that plan has crumbled and it is reasonable to say that Wike is panicking. It must be noted that PDP under Wike has lots of suppressed aggrieved members but all seem to be waiting for the proper time to react. Already Secondus and Wike have fallen out long ago but not until recently after the nominations of the candidates for the forthcoming LGA elections did it come to the open. |
Just decided to link my lines to their various networks. Did MTN first and it was simple and fast. I started struggling to do Airtel but no success. They claim to have sent OTP to my phone but none came. I decided to call it quits after many attempts. Now the option to use their code of *121*1# came up and I tried that. After inputting my NIN, I get Service Temporarily unavailable. After many attempts with no headway still, I can only conclude that Airtel SUCKS |
Just to tell you how smart the Igbos are in politics, present Umahi in APC and Wike in PDP for the same elective position and see them choose Wike. They are that wonderful. |

Breaking news |
This is simply what a sane individual will do not allowing strangers talk ill or disparage your country unlike the f00ls who have made it a habit to heap dirts on their own country thinking they are smart. Is it not insanity and iberibeic for a child to go to a neighbour's house and start telling them of how dirty his home is and how useless his father has been. Tomorrow he expects same neighbour to show respect to him or his family. |
