Using the table provided, I'll say that the worst hit is Chad. My analysis is based on "case mortality" ie the number of confirmed cases that end up dying. Chad has 8.4% (8.4% of confirmed cases died in Chad), this is followed by Liberia with 8.1%. Nigeria has 2.7% while South Africa has 2.2%.

PoliticsRe: PDP Demands Restoration Of Police To Rivers Task Force by Akpuoru: 11:19am On May 13, 2020
Wike is no nonsense governor, strong and whatever puffed up name his minions call him. Just know that he is a master of the game of rubble rousing. Within this period, he has amused his fans with his supposed tough talks and threats to their excitement. Let us visit some.
1. His drama with Bristow pilots. He rained sulphur and brimstone and at the end what happened. NOTHING. He claimed that the owner of the company had to beg him and based on that he Wike had to soft pedal. Awesome. I don't want to go into details of how his spokesman was grasping to tell the world that the pilots were not in detention but were put in a hotel in Port Harcourt. As of today, oil workers fly in and out of Rivers state and Wike has kept mute.
2. ExxonMobil workers. What has happened to those workers? Are they in detention? Is the case in court?. Like I said, oil and gas workers on essential duties go about their business freely in Rivers state. Incidentally to his minions, the almighty Wike will not allow anybody even mandated by the FG to "do any how" in Rivers state.
3. Wike said he would deport all almajiris in PH back to their states. I want to get from his pawns the number he had deported, the dates he deported them and which media showed this deportations. Many state governors did send almajiris out of their states and the action preceded the talk. With no talk, they did it but Wike in his characteristic manner boasted of doing it just to present himself as the fearless one to his goons without a corresponding action.
4. Recently vehicles and people were intercepted during the current lockdown and the fearless governor has proclaimed that the vehicles would be auctioned. Of particular mention is a truck carrying cattle and people from Adamawa state. The governor even made a donation of 5Million naira to the community's vigilante group for arresting this truck. Have the cattle been auctioned yet? We don't hear anything about auctioning again.
These are some of the ego massaging boasts from governor Wike who has mastered ways of exciting his fans. There are plenty governors out there who doing great works to curb this pandemic and we don't hear much drama from them. Wike should learn to act more and talk less but what can I say, you may have to blame it on the alcohol.
Now over to his minions .........
PoliticsRe: Promise Gogorodari: Owner Of Demolished Prudent Hotel In Rivers, Speaks by Akpuoru: 10:16am On May 11, 2020
Wike does not do wrong. Although people are accusing him of targeting Igbo traders in PH through the lockdown but we the Igbos still love him. Ikeokwu has been on lockdown for weeks now, but it doesn't matter because he loves us and only him knows what is good for us. He is indeed God sent. Ndi ara!!!
PoliticsRe: Wike Orders Immediate Deportation Of Almajiris From Rivers State by Akpuoru: 11:03pm On Apr 28, 2020
Deceiving the gullible ones as always. Which almajiris is he talking about because I can't recall seeing almajiris on the streets of PH as we know them in the north. However, let's be updated on their evacuation via press video reportage, I mean I want their evacuation to be reported by AIT at least.

This Sowore guy shouldn't think the world revolves around him. We do no want unnecessary distractions at this crucial time and for those that may be fooled by his antics, well done.
By the way, he contested to be president of this country and the number of votes he got across the whole nation should remind him of his national worth.

EmekaMD:
Tinubu had to be given ultimatums and literally had to be forced to speak out during the Amoketun saga. He also had to be drugged out before he could mutter any words wen fulanis herdsmen were busy killing people.

But he didn't wait to be called out before making
his his position known on the Oshiomole saga.

Does it mean his personal interest is more important to him than that of his people ?

Only time time will tell.

"Egugun be careful na Express u dey cross" I don warn you
Always vocal when it comes to other regions but mute when ours is being messed up by our own people. Can you raise your voice for instance on the governance and state of Abia state? Let's remove the plank in our eye before being so concerned in the one in another fellow. It is not wisdom to move about buying other people's wahala.

EducationRe: Babcock University High School by Akpuoru(op): 4:48pm On Feb 26, 2020
NL1960:
I do not know about them. It should be a good school being that it is owned by Babcock University. I rate Babcock university highly. The schools i considered for my daughter then were:

(1) Loyoya Jesuit, Abuja (mixed and boarding)
(2) Holy Child College, SW Ikoyi, Lagos (Girls only and boarding)
(2) Louisville Girls High school, Ijebu Itele, Ogun state (Girls only and boarding)

I finally settled for Holy Child College as Loyola Jesuit was a bit on the high side for me. No complaints so far and she is now in JSS 3.

Btw, Jesuit Memorial PH is equally good but they have conducted their common entrance. If you are interested in them, you can find out from them if they have second batch.
Thanks a lot. Your contributions have been helpful
EducationRe: Babcock University High School by Akpuoru(op): 11:07am On Feb 26, 2020
NL1960:
Iam not familiar with missionary schools in PH. Most high level missionary schools are presently doing their common entrances. You might still get a chance for second batch for some of them. Iam only familiar with missionary schools in the Lagos and Ogun states axis. The academic and moral discipline is quite high. In addition, you might need to specify your preferences for people to better help you. Things like:

(a) Is the child a boy or a girl
(b) Single sex school(i.e. boys or girls only) or mixed
(c) Full Boarding or Day or a mix of the two
(d) preferred location
Thank you. She is a girl and I prefer full boarding either mixed or single sex. Good missionary Schools in the Lagos-Ogun axis will be nice. Ondo state will be fantastic. Do you know about the Babcock university high school in Ogun state?
EducationRe: Babcock University High School by Akpuoru(op): 1:48pm On Feb 25, 2020
NL1960:
Try Jesuit Memorial, PH. It is the Abuja Loyola Jesuit school in PH. If the admission is for 2020/2021 session, you are already late as the common entrance has already been done. Admission into that school and that of Loyola Jesuit, Abuja is very competitive.

Btw, is your consideration only for christian based secondary schools in PH?.
Thanks a lot. It's for this 2020/2021. My consideration is not limited to Christian schools but schools some good academic and moral track record. I live in PH and I know most schools here are just business enterprises where all that is required is to pay their fees and you're enrolled. I want Schools with some level of academic competitiveness and not just money as mode of enrollment.

Did you go the bank to pay with your RRR or you were able to pay online?. Next step is to go to your preferred CBT center (accredited by JAMB) with the e-pin for registration. JAMB said they shouldn't charge more than #700.00.
EducationRe: How Much Is JAMB Form In Your Area? by Akpuoru: 6:31am On Jan 21, 2020
Has anyone initiated and completed payment online with Remita without recourse to going to the bank hall to complete the transaction.
I have tried severally to make payments via Remita but each time I end up going to the bank hall to finish the payment. Presently I have been trying to pay for my niece's JAMB registration but the best I have done is to generate RRR which has always been my final point with remita before going to the bank to pay.
Is it that it is not possible to complete payment by yourself using Remita or there is something I'm not doing right.
Please anyone with the experience can help?
