babyosisi:lagos is no mans land we control the economy of lagos without us lagos is nothing we must produce the deputy governor. yorubas are dirty yorubas are cowards we own lagos Do say all dis against americans in even d america that u say u are and expect to be taken serious and accommodated peacefully. there is virtue in humility and that lack of humility is d bane of igbos existence with oda tribes in Naija. Nobody say u shud lick their arzz but do not go all superior and disrespect the customs and traditions of d land. |
Ojiofor:I hope so. we all need each oda. |
Alfamann:stop deceiving ursef. i live in kano. singer market is populated by hausa. kwari market, same. i dare say igbos are not up to fifty percent in sabon gari market so stop deceiving yrsef and eat a humble pie. u are in no competition with anyone. do ur thing and be level headed. |
Ojiofor:No one is stopping them from pursuing their economic ends meet. Im yoruba but totally against what d oba said but the igbos should learn to respect their host community |
well said op. After watching the video, i realise d oba goofed big time. But igbos in lagos need to humble themselves and not take d hospitality of lagosians for granted. |
meforyou1:was the armed robber holding a toy gun ![]() |
Is it just me? she looks waaaaaaaaaaaay more beautiful without make up than with all the painting in d name of make up. |
nuelzy:u sabi look sha. How manage u see d footwear? |
And people want me to see Jonathan as a hero cos he conceded defeat in an election he clearly lost despite spending billions of naira in bribe. |
Jonathan did the right, sensible and honourable thing. Don't let's lower standard and blow it out of proportion. He clearly lost the election and he conceded defeat shikena. Though honourable and thoughtful, it doesn't make him a hero like we are all shouting. If he had choose to fight dirty in an election he clearly lost, and cause chaos and lost of lives, there will be consequence for him. U mentioned Charles Taylor, Samuel Doe, Gbabo etc. Where are they today? Their fate (jail term) would have been the lot of gej if he didn't taken the honourable path. No leader can loss election and try to turncate it and go Scot free. stop making it look like he did us a favour. He had no option. |
temitemi1:is this ur latest spam dial? its no longer gej till 2019? @op, Jonathan did the right, sensible and honourable thing. Don't let's lower standard and blow it out of proportion. fool. shame catch me for him family. |

Umunede:Liar! Mko won Bashir Tofa in kano state, his home town and d entire northern states. They are not as sentimental, myopic and backward thinking like the yiboz. |
chukwudi44:Why are u so vengeful and bitter like this? Already planing revenge in 8years time? And I'm sure u will spend all those eight years whinning and wishing that evil befall the Yoruba and Hausa tribes. Go to the polls and vote out of hate and sentiment again and u will lost again. When will u learn ? |
lol |
I de go by airtime first tin tomorrow |
Elzends:Dont get me wrong, i commend him for accepting defeat. But making it look like it is something heroic is not cool, power of incumbency or not. The world is watching, no incumbent can clearly lost an election and refuse to hand over. Remember Gbagbo of Ivory cost? where is he today? President Jonathan did the most sensible and honourable thing to do. Failure to do that will plunge this country into chaos and he too will most likely spend the rest of his life in prison. Samuel Doe and Charles Taylor comes to mind. |
elbaraj001:Na real oponu ayirada and oloriburuku u be. Must u insult me before u make ur point? Are u blind to my opening sentence where I commended the president for doing the right thing? Was Fayemi not an incumbent when he lost? Didn't he accept it gracefully? Will Jonathan be the first? But celebrating it as if he is a hero, comparing him to Mandela and worshipping him all over social media is lowering standard cos the presidency is not his birthright. I'm more than ready to insult u and ur generations today if u quote me throwing insult at me again. |
Etumgbe:jealousy na him go kill u bigoted satanist. whether u like it or not he is ur VP for d next four years. And he is YORUBA cos I know that is what is giving u headache. ![]() |
In as much as I commend and respect the President for accepting defeat because we all know power is sweet and intoxicating, I still have some reservations about the encomiums and hero worshiping of President Jonathan all over the social media for doing what is morally, intellectually, legally an constitutionally right. Let's not lower standard. He is d incumbent, has control of all forces, conducted election, international observers declared the election fair, he clearly lost, and he accepted defeat, what is heroic here? Are we expecting him to rrfuse d election result or what? Even if he will do that, there is a proper channel so whats the fuss about accepting defeat by the president? Lets not blow it out of proportion jooor. He did a honourable thing, that's it. |
asha80:So I suppose its d same performance that made u all flock and lick gej aszz. |
asha80:So misfiring and looking very embittered and bigoted is better ![]() |
A sensible Igbo friend posted this on Facebook about Ngige and I think it answers the op aptly One of the closest Igbo man to the President Elect is Dr Chris Ngige Onwa, a Senator who was defeated in the Senatorial Election. See how bad Igbos are at strategizing? They couldn't override a pathological hatred for General Buhari to make a hedge bet and return this man to the Senate, to enhance his chances at Senate President, incase General Buhari wins, which he did. Instead folks played tribal and religious politics to the tilt as drunken sailors, and failed the man and the chance to make history as Senate President. That's what happens when emotions trips common sense and folks succumb to hustlers like Peter Obi and Arthur Eze, scoundrels after their own interests instead of the masses. I urged caution, I pleaded that we were making a huge mistake to hitch our wagon on Jonathan who wasn't going to win. And predictably he lost, so also our chance in the new administration. I hate to gloat. But maybe, maybe, only maybe he gets a good ministerial appointment, but nothing beats being Senate President. Igbos are very bad at politics. And sadly it won't stop until we learn to coexist with others instead of our 'better than thou' attitude when dealing with the Hausas and Yorubas. We are not better than anyone, these folks we thumb our noses at, are God's creatures like us. We don't like the Hausas and we don't like the Yorubas, yet we populate their States in search for our livelihood. Our politics should mirror our economic aspirations, not the other way around. How long can this collective amnesia insulate us from meaningfully seating at the table, making contributions to Nigeria's political evolution? How long can this foolishness go on? How long? There is a miserable silence across the land today, because we are realizing that we were sold off for pennies by pimps who parade as Igbo leaders. Where are they? Anyone home? |
front page! I fell for it. |
