Good day my people Please I have a worry, I applied March 16 2018 paper route and was refused April 18 2018 . I then ordered for my gcms notes with getgcms.com upon collection today,I saw same generic response from them as was updated on my online application instead of the case files.I contacted someone about this who told me that getgcms.com were scammers. Now I am in a crossroad whether to apply to CIC or order another gcms notes which will take another 1 month bearing in mind school starts September. I attached the notes

Austinpee4: We have seen in previous times where an application was refused because of the integrity of the scholarship body and it's failure in remittance of funds. As a matter of fact, i am helping a fellow overcome this issue.
While it would be okay using just the scholarship letter as proof of award of scholarship, ensure your co-sponsor show credibility and reliability to a substantial extent. Uncle is a 3rd party sponsorship and as such would need to show some level of commitment towards your study and also state that he would be your support financially should the scholarship body fail to remit funds to you in time.
I now advise people to use a DEED of GIFT for funds transferred from a 3rd party in addition to the affidavit of sponsorship with a cogent reason for expending such funds towards the applicant's study if possible. This is a document that can be tendered as evidence that the 3rd party has willingly gifted the funds and no refund is expected.
Add his statement of account and also include all evidence and proof of his income/source.
Regards. Please explain more on the deed of gift How can I get one |

DrND: It's OK sir. Apologies accepted.
Just trying to wrap my head around why I got refused.
It looked to me like though the VO saw my application but he didn't really go through it.
It's really painful to see another refusal without a clear statement about it.
Wud hv just let go of the study permit thingy and chase express entry.
But just want to give the study permit another shot coz if I don't resume on this fall the whole 40kcad will be sent back to NDDC. I just hv to hustle now or forget about Canny. You will get it Have you ordered gcms notes |

DrND: I submitted this @attached. I got the award on 2016 October deferred it to 2017 September because I needed to give NDDC time to pay my fees before I apply for visa. But after waiting till June without them paying I had to go ahead and applied with NDDC as main sponsor and my uncle as Co sponsor. I was denied on July 31st 2017 after seeing the GCMS the VO made notes about the stranded students that my main sponsor (NDDC) left overseas and attached an article about it from premiumtimes. And the second note was the recent lump sum on my co-sponsor account.
I jejely deferred my admission to 2018 September and waited till NDDC finally paid on January 2018. The scholarship is worth 30kusd but NDDC pay the equivalent of 40kcad which covers my full tuition fees for the whole program and the balance 16,284cad was deposited in my Canadian account for upkeep.
I was sure I tackled all these in my SOP bfr applying on March 20th. Tuition receipts, account statements even attached a personal Nigerian account statement of 3 million.
I really don't understand the VO from Kenya reasons for refusing my app. It's so complex and ambiguous. I am willing to reapply asap but I really need to hear from you guys and put up a SOP for vetting.
I don't have the resources to hire a lawyer oh.
Thanks all in anticipation any positive input. You shared everything! Aren't these not sensitive info's |

Thanks Frankrobbn1: AKUPSME,
Using a company as a co-sponsor to your application, a rational letter of sponsorship will suffice stating clearly why the company is spending so much on you, how this sponsorship will be of paramount benefit to them and attesting that your intl certificate will yield an extraordinary results to the company upon your return. How long you've been working for this company goes a long to prove to the visa officer the genuinuety of this sponsorship. Company MUST show proof of commitment towards financing your studies either paying at least a semester tuition fee or transferring funds into your personal account.
To mention a few, you need documents like: 1-) Letter of sponsorship (written on company letter headed paper) 2-) Affidiavit of company sponsorship (stamp and sign by commissioner of oaths) 3-) 6 months company bank statements 4-) Company article and association of memorandum 5-) Company CAC documents ( proof to show the business is Registered) 6-) Tax clearance certificate 7-) Board resolution letter (stating clearly that they are aware of this sponsorship and won't pose to be a hindrance to this) etc... |

Frankrobbn1: AKUPSME,
I want to understand you mean a job offer letter from current company stating that you will return back to the company after the completion of your studies in Canada with a promotion in the office. If company or employer isn't your sponsor, presenting a job offer does not constitute a significant tie to your home country and going for a 2years and above program in Canada makes it unrealistic to the visa officer as no company will leave a space for you for such period of time. It only makes a lot of sense, if employer, CEO or the company is your sponsor. Then you can justify your claims. If not, concentrate on showing professional, social and economic ties to your home country, other than presenting a job offer that will weaken your application.
All the best! What documents can I request from my employer if I want to use my company as my second sponsor. Because that's one of the options I have now going forward |

Austinpee4: The major reason this is seemingly a risky path to thread is largely because most applicants especially from Nigeria are not able to prove to officers with strong evidence that they would indeed leave Canada at the end of their study even with a PR application. For a study visa, you must satisfy the officer that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay because it is a requirement by their law that you leave as a temporary resident. If you can really prove to the officer that there is a high chance that you would leave after your study, having simultaneous applicant would not be a problem as it is backed up by the Act establishing the provisions for issuing of both visas as dual intent.
If you can prove this, fine. Each application is reviewed seperately and independently. However, the general advise is to go with one you have a better chance and can satisfy all requirements.
Regards. Will getting a letter from my current company; stating I will resume after studies be a good reason to satisfy the V.O. Cos I wanted to include it in my first application, but from the comments I read it seemed not to be a good idea. |
