Islam › Mysterious Baby in IJESHA, LAGOS. (It happened Real) by AlabaSlim(op): 6:46pm On May 08, 2012 |
Wonders they say shall never end. This piece of story took place @ my area and i just got to know about it this evening @ about 4:00pm (OLD-NEPA, IJESHATEDO,SURULERE, LAGOS). A christian woman married to a muslim man gave birth to a baby boy last night. The child refused to cry or do anything that should show he is a baby. The mysterious thing to the story is that the baby (weighing abt 4 to 5 kg) came with a book in his folded right hand & that book was a QUARAN yes a QUARAN.The parents were dumbfounded @ 1st and wanted to hide the news but as pple always say you can't hide things forever. The Imams who visited early in the morning around 4:00am were surprised @ what they were seeing cos the child in their presence was folding both hands and was looking @ them (i.e the imams) and everybody behaving like a 10year old. This news has really brought so much JOY to the muslims in my hood even the abokis are not left out in this celebration I just want any journalist out there to come and get a real 1st hand story and possibly a picture so as to confirm this story.
I may NOT LIKE islam but i just had to share this story with u guyz. hoho...my phone battery is DEAD. I will reply when my phone is CHARGED. Bye 4 now |

coogar: you lack horse sense.
why would barcelona need a plan b when plan a works 95% of the time? they are willing to accept losses like the chelsea game the other night and the inter game!
xavi said: "If you go two years without winning, everything has to change. But you change names, not identity. The philosophy can't be lost. Our fans wouldn't understand a team that sat back and played on the break. Sadly, people only look at teams through success. Now, success has validated our approach. I'm happy because, from a selfish point of view, six years ago I was extinct; footballers like me were in danger of dying out. It was all: two metres tall, powerful, in the middle, knockdowns, second balls, rebounds … but now I see Arsenal and Villarreal and they play like us"
"I like the fact that talent, technical ability, is valued above physical condition now. I'm glad that's the priority; if it wasn't, there wouldn't be the same spectacle. Football is played to win but our satisfaction is double. Other teams win and they're happy, but it's not the same. The identity is lacking. The result is an impostor in football. You can do things really, really well – last year we were better than Inter Milan – but did not win. There's something greater than the result, more lasting. A legacy. Inter won the Champions League but no one talks about them as a brilliant team."
"You watch Liverpool and Carragher wins the ball and boots it into the stands and the fans applaud. There's a roar! They would never applaud that here."
cesc said: “We have to talk about how we played. But we knew that if we were to lose then it should be in this manner because we wanted to be sure that we stuck to our style -------------- --------------
as you can see, these barca/madrid fans want more than just winning a game like chelsea did. it's simply not acceptable in madrid/barca to win games sitting back and playing on the counter.. you call it plan b, they call it anti-football. fabio capello was sacked after winning back to back la liga titles for madrid - they sacked him because he won ugly(no style) in spain, style is primary, winning is secondary. @coogar dis na d 1st tym u dey talk sense o |

Stealthy: Barcelona vs Chelsea. Here is my pre-game analysis:
We all know Chelsea will come to defend to save their lives, so their game plan is pretty simple. of course, they will probably leave two players up front to potentially hit us on the counter. Chelsea's position is very good. Even if they concede 1 goal, the tie is not over for them (unlike Bayern for example). So they can have a Plan B to be executed in the event that they concede a goal.
For us, the task is clear, but not simple: Score 2 goals or more. It is clear that we have issues scoring goals right now. Fortunately, the issue isn't one of creating chances, as we manage to create in most games. This is very important as the core of our game is in midfield and therein lies the strength of the tiki-taka philosophy.
We absolutely need to score an early goal. The earlier we score, the quicker we can settle our nerves and get Chelsea to move to their Plan B. But how do we do it? The players have to be quick with the ball. The few instances when Chelsea attacks, we need to turn defence to attack very quickly (we can learn from Real this season or Barca 08-09). There's no point slowing the game to allow the opposing defenders get into shape - it's to their advantage, not ours. This is no time to be casual - they have to play like their lives depend on this match. Secondly, the attackers need to be clinical in finishing the chances that will surely come their way, no matter how few. The chances will be few tomorrow, so we need to be especially clinical. The boys need to take shots like they're fighting the net! Just fire and fire, forget whether pep likes the ball being romanced or not! Third, we need to concentrate fully at the back - no silly lapses from the defenders or Valdes. Chelsea will not attack, but when they do, they need to be stopped asap. I will like to see only Alves attacking, of the full backs. While we need bodies forward, we also cannot to be exposed when defending.
I will like to see a defensive line-up of Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Puyol. Puyol to play at LB, but without pushing forward at all. In midfield, it's a no-brainer: Busquests, Xavi and Iniesta. Pep cannot afford to waste Iniesta on the wing in this match - it is abundantly clear that Iniesta plays a lot better in midfield than in attack. And Messi doesn't have to drop so deep when Ini is in the midfield. In attack, I will like to see Pedro, Messi, Sanchez. I thought of Cuenca as he provides width, but Pedro is more experienced and can also score (and boy, do we need goals!), so we will have to rely on Sanchez and Pedro providing width when they have the ball, pressing when without it and running in to the box when their teammate has the ball on the other wing. It's a lot of work, but they have to earn their money tomorrow.
Subs: Cesc for Xani/iniesta. Tello for Pedro. Keita for Alexis with 5 minutes to go and we are going through
Can we win? Absolutely! We have a better team than Chelsea. Will we win? only if we play the perfect game - pressing, shooting, passing accurately and having more luck than in recent matches.
My head says we will win 2-1 and go out narrowly on away goals. My heart says we will win 3-1 and make the final narrowly on aggregate score.
I go with my heart... no warri baggalona go enta final kon KARRI CUP JOIN |
