xProfx: Pay less attention to him... The worst thing you can do is trying to force someone to respect you. I have realised age is a fake instrument that only worked in the past so don't let your age difference make you think he will respect you so much.
The best way you can get him to respect you is to stop trying, just be a more simple person and treat him like an adult, like your mate. Learn to forgive him in advance cos he will still offend you and you will still offend him...
Just be nice to him for no reason than the blood you share... Buy him little things like drinks and snacks when you go to the supermarket and just give him without asking. Advise him less, let him realize his own mistakes... You took this out of my mouth literally. Reverse psychology at it's best. Thumbs up |

tobechi74: Sex shouldn’t be termed as bad according to gender, to start with, sex is not even a bad thing! Well maybe according to belief and religion, all religions I know speak against sex that’s not within the bounds of marriage, but yet again, who are we to question people,we should leave all this to God. None of us, neither you nor I, have the right to judge anyone for the choices they’re making, henceforth at no point should women be the only ones answerable for sex on the first date unless it wasn’t consensual.
Don’t get me wrong, abstinence is a good thing and it wonderful but not when it is forced on people. Instead of teaching and encouraging purity culture, instead of teaching girls to associate fear, shame and guilt with sex why not teach girls good and quality sex education. Teach them their body belongs to them alone and not to their fathers or the church. Talk to them about the clarity that comes with abstinence, tell them abstinence is a choice they can make without the pressure of the church. Teach them that they are not responsible for the sexual purity of men. Teach girls to love and embrace their bodies instead of seeing it as a weapon the devil uses to lure men to hell.

Romance › Re: What A Prophet Told Me About My Girlfriend. by alabi484(m): 4:31pm On Dec 03, 2020 |
SeunWedsLinda: Good morning nairalanders. I'm sharing this here because I feel restless with this urgent need to end my relationship. I'll make the story as short as possible.
I started dating my girlfriend this time 2 years ago. The experience hasn't been bad because she's all I could wish for in a woman. Very pretty both facially and in physique. Respectful. Been there for me during my down times. Encourages me when things don't go my way. At some point, I thought she was gonna leave because of my financial state but no. She still stuck by me. Even helping me financially to bring me up to my feet.
However, Despite every attempts at steadying my financial imbalance, there was never any progress. We went for a crusade mid last year and the prophet called her out, was praying for her and she was falling under anointing. She was oblivious of what was happening then the man of God delivered a big prophesy that shocked me. He said she is possessed by a spirit which is out to ruin every man she's had something to do with in the past. That a lot of men have been destroyed. My heart raced faster and I couldn't figure out what to do at that point. When she finally got herself, she cleaned up and went home. Came to my house the following morning and asked me what happened. I told her everything the prophet said and she begged me not to leave her. Of course I didn't leave her. We still continued with the relationship. Don't blame me here guys. My belief was that no man or woman has the power to influence what happens to you. That success or financial breakthrough is the end product of hardwork and perseverance. That was why I took that prophesy with a pinch of salt.
Our lives continued. I kept encountering frustrations in my live goals and ambitions. Depts hanging round my neck with no hope in sight. Rents expiring with no plan for renewal. To the point that I had to borrow to feed. These were much that I decided to go see another prophet yesterday. This prophet is different from the first one that hosted a crusade we went for. I decided to go alone this time around and it's located in a different state. In the course of the ministration. The prophet called me out. He told me I should limit things I say to THAT GIRL (my girlfriend). He mentioned to me that my girlfriend is good and it's not her fault. That she is possessed by a spirit that is out to ruin. Responsible for restricting any favor that looks like it's coming my way. Every thing he told me was in tandem with my real life experiences. He prayed for me afterwards and I still went further to meet him. I needed some clarity on whether or not to continue with my relationship. He didn't urge that I breakup. But he advised I should just leave her and focus on my hustle.
My girlfriend has been calling me since yesterday but I've not been picking. I'm confused guys. I know I will eventually pick and talk to her but how do I breakup? Where do I start from? I don't want to tell her what the prophet said about her. My mind is mess rn. Please advice me guys 3 days dry fasting with prayers every 9am, 12pm, 3pm and 6pm with vigil during those 3 days by 12am...shey you know your prayer points already. Some times, you only need prophets to point you in the direction of what's wrong and to give you solutions, the solutions of the prophets you visited are not whole in my opinion and that's for reasons best known to them. You and the babe should try what I stated above and be sensitive during those days. God help you. |

Bellotelli: This is about the first story I'll be posting here, so please pardon my typo and I'll try to make it a short one.
I met this girl about four years ago and we started dating immediately (she was 20). She was a good person but I had no deep emotional feelings for her. She even got a customized Man United Jersey for me.. The first birthday gift I ever had.
Fast forward to December 2018, I decided to break up with her becos I met someone else whom I thought I would settle down with but that relationship turned out be my worst nightmare (story for another day). By January 2020 I decided I've had enough and quitted, then I reached out to my ex and mended things with her cos she never offended me and I didn't want to be lonely.
Our relationship was mainly sexual.. Sometimes without protection.
Fast forward, mid May 2020 she sent me a message asking when last I did an HIV test and I told her since August last year (a lie). I called her immediately and tried to know why she asked and she confessed that she has been diagnosed HIV positive since late last year and she has been battling with her conscience since we came back and started having unprotected sex.
Initially, I was very furious with her and myself. How could I make such a silly mistake?... How could I be so gullible as to trust a girl merely by her looks? She called, messaged and begged that I should forgive her but I told her to give me some space for the time being.
I became so scared of going for a test until last month (September) when I decided to meet her. We spoke at length and I was more traumatized when she told me that she wasn't in any sexual relationship since our break up in 2018... She thought I infected her. I was also confused because aside catarrh I've not treated even malaria since the beginning of this year. In fact since August last year I was only diagnosed with malaria and typhoid.
Conclusively, I decided to go with her to the hospital to conduct the test yesterday October 19, 2020. I prayed for a second chance as i waited anxiously in the Lab reception.
Finally, the doctor called me and told me the test result. Wow.. What a relief, I thank God Almighty for a second chance. I know HIV is not the end of the world, but what I feared the most and for most people out there is the stigma.
AND FOR MY NOW EX... I'll Like to sit down with her in order to know the truth. I want to know how she contracted HIV. Lol... She's most definitely pranking you... A repayment for the suffering you put her through when you went after a new kpekus |

Rice milling is the way to go for me.
Having farmed rice and did some middle man rice sales, I see there is huge potential in the rice milling industry.
Reason being that: 1. Foreign rice importation has been banned 2. There's a lot of terribly processed Nigerian rice out there 3. The market is still huge for anyone who has quality as his watchword in business to produce well processed Nigerian rice.
One can start by actually farming rice straight up which I consider as I risk or use an alternative I discovered which is medium risk.
Setting up Factory, acquiring equipment and a few other logistics is the main capital sensitive aspect and all can be sorted with 5 to 7 million naira. |

The products are different kind of quantum energy products such as quantum energy ring, Fuel saver Card. Energy Heart & Neck Instrument (Pendant). Eye Glasses. Beauty Sprayer. Anti-Radiation Mobile Phone sticker. Foot Massager. 2. The whole transactions is done online, so, you buy them from chymall online, put them up for sale on your personal store on chymall and chymall will help you sell it in 10 days. 3. The VIP package you're on determines the amount of products you can buy and sell. On VIP 2 for instance...registeration is about 53k and you can buy and sell quantum rings with that. Other VIP packages have different registration fees and of course different products. I hope I answered well. If you have any more questions, let me know please. |

Their last meeting ended with FG saying all the payments would be done using IPPIS that ASUU should enrol. But ASUU saw through that bullshit because they(ASUU) know it will be game over for them if they enrol. The only way this meeting today will be successful will be if; 1. ASUU accepts IPPIS for payment of their salaries, earned allowances and revitalization fees( it will hurt ASUU). 2. FG fast track the testing of UTAS and use the platform for the payment ( it will hurt FG). 3. Use the former platform which was Government integration Financial Management information System(GIFMIS) to pay ASUU (nobody gets hurt. win- win ) Spot on... They should pick option 3 and move on abeg |

iRepNaija1: OP, please don't pursue this. You're not even in a relationship with him and you two are already arguing, regardless of who is right or wrong. That's red flag number one. Red flag number two is that he wants you to come to his house only after a few days of talking. That's concerning because a) you should be meeting someone you don't know well in a public place, b) he should want to meet you in a public place for a meet-up or date, or c) he just wants sex. If you just want sex, then cool. But since you've declined his first offer, I don't think that's what you're going for. The third red flag is that he insulted you. From what you said, you told him, "I don't care." Is that an insult? To me, it's not because you did not criticize his person or his family. (Remember, critique the action, not the person). Could your response have been said in a better way? Maybe but you were straightforward. If he's willing to do this and you two have just started talking, imagine what could happen if you were dating or in a serious relationship.
He's just trying to test your limits to see how much B.S. he can get away with and how much B.S. you can tolerate. At 22, you're an adult but you're also much younger than him and he's seeing if he can take advantage of your possible lack of experience in dating. The fact that you're on NL may indicate to me you're still interested in him despite these red flags because if you weren't, I know you would've not continued talking with him.
I think you should really let this man go. It just sounds like wahala. You're young and there will be so many other men. When a man likes you and wants to spend time with you, you won't have to question it, you won't be on NL asking for advice from strangers. He will treat you like royalty and handle you like glass. You will never have to second-guess his feelings for you or his motives. Good luck. Very spot on... The guy obviously just wants to chop and clean mouth but babe is seeing husband material... It will end in tears op...sorry to say! |
