PHAYOL81:That's what they want to make you believe but there's more to it. I know someone personally who's legally resident in Lagos, built a house there for over 30 years, he's well over 60, pays all taxes and land use charge etc, and registered with LASRAA, has the card and all but when time for this came, he was excluded. No SMS sent, nothing. |
AkeNathan:When it is convenient for you or something negative happens, you lots call Lagos Yoruba state, but at other times, you tag it a no-man's land. Can't you see how confused you are. |
Hustlersguide:Oga, are you a prophet or what? Who told you this one again. |
computergeek: computergeek: Good one Governor Sir, but everybody already knows these things. We want to see you in a video commissioning the distribution of food and relief funds to people who will suffer the brunt of the pandemic in your already affected state. We want to see you waiting at isolation centres to receive just-arrived ventilators that will be the saving grace of many people in your state. We want to see you shaking doctors and nurses while handing out hazmat suits for their protection, and commissioning the payment of not less than N200K pandemic allowance to every frontliner. However shaa, this guy dey try for participating at all. Enugu state first female governor is still waiting for them to tell him what to do. computergeek:Ondo state has no confirmed case of Covid-19 as it stands now, so I don't understand why you want to see the video of him commissioning relief funds and food for infected people when there are none. He's doing the right thing he should by using this skit to sensitize the people of the state on how to prevent contracting the virus. He has adopted other precautionary measures by shutting down, offices, markets and restricting inter-town and state travels. |
mmaster:You guys should stop spreading this obvious lie and falsehood from bloggers, falsely attributed to Wike. You can't make an accountant the health minister. It's never done anywhere in the world. Not even Buhari with his obvious incompetence can do such. The health minister Dr. Osagie Ehanire is a well-respected Germany-trained medical doctor and surgeon and a fellow of the West African College College of Surgeons. Except there's another Minister of Health from your village that Nigerians are not aware of. The internet with which you used to post this nonsense can be used to verify this first before posting. I believe you're educated, so behave like one who's truly educated. |
GloShare:You're trying to be smart but you're not. In a pandemic, the ultimate is saving lives. More advanced countries and democracies than Nigeria have shut down their borders, I guess your "right of return" had suddenly been taking away from such countries. Even in Nigeria too that has now eventually decided to shut the borders, has "right of return" suddenly become inexistent? |
8stargeneral:You're the one propagating the obviously false news on this public forum here, that's why I'm asking you and not Wike cos you ought to know better. |
8stargeneral:The onus lies on you to show me a proof of your claim. |
8stargeneral:And you yourself believe that nonsense that the Minister of Health studied Accounting. |
Heineken:Please you can help send to this mail: damiolotu95@gmail.com.. thanks |
MelesZenawi:Aren't you ashamed. You must be poor at critical thinking. Imagine comparing apples and oranges. Pupupu, an obscure and remote village even me as a Yoruba don't know exists is what you're comparing with a city like Aba. |
Dreason:You think it's right for you to insult those who Zubby is maligning their tribe with falsehood but not call Zubby to order right? |
MelesZenawi:Shut your trap. Aba one of your best cities is the undisputed dirtiest city in Nigeria and you have the guts to point finger at other people to label them dirty. Are Yorubas the inhabitants of Aba? |
Dunsin2020:Don't mind the idiot. That's why their city Aba is one huge refuse dump. So much for cleanliness. |
jumper524:I want to believe it's a state University/institution. You should be thankful to your lecturers for finding a way to borrow lecturers so your dept can gain accreditation, otherwise your certificate would have been useless. Is it the job of lecturers to recruit for Universities and pay those employed? Most of these governors are useless. They don't give subventions regularly to Universities and when do they, there's always a short-fall. That's why most Universities, especially state-owned improvise during accreditation and pay those borrowed lecturers little honorarium like 50-70k each but here you're insulting them. |
BreconHills:Read what he wrote. The call was not from the Covid response team rather the call was to them from a suspected case showing symptoms and the person refused to divulge her address. |
OwenDesired:The season can only be suspended but cannot be cancelled, so they'll be crowned winners eventually at some point. God was also against them when they won the UCL last season right? Don't drag God into petty things like this. |
ugwumichael:You're the one with comprehension issues. He said his cousin resides in the UK and he has been there for like 7 years, telling us the length of time his cousin has been away from Nigeria and not the length of time he has been receiving the Npower funds. He's only emphasizing that he hasn't been to Nigeria for a long time even before the N-power programme but somehow he is benefiting from it while being away, thereby highlighting the level of corruption in the scheme. |
Commentor:Where did you see in my assertion that I'm talking about all flights from the entire Europe and Asia? That would mean over 100 countries. There are high risk countries such as China, South Korea, Iran and Italy. These are the ones I'm referring to. Flights from these countries into Nigeria should be restricted to perhaps once a week and upon arrival, all passengers on board quarantined for say 14 days. It's not rocket science. Other countries like Saudi and even South Africa are following this model. We can if we're serious. |
Commentor:The point I think he's driving home is that all those disembarking from a flight from Italy regardless of their nationality should be quarantined on arrival. |
Sunnycliff:Is it another set of pictures you're looking at or the ones attached to this post, cos I'm struggling to find any pic here where Akume bowed down to Regina. |
I feel governments of different countries are lying about the prevalence of this coronavirus, especially in Italy where they are hiding the real figures. Why is that most people returning from same Italy are bringing the disease. Just see two new cases of Italy returnees in Israel. |
Gnaeusmagnus:I know it's a logistical nightmare cos it's not easy isolating and quarantining everyone entering the country by flight, but if they could at least do this for flights coming in from high risk countries only like China, Iran and Italy, that would have helped to prevent the case of this Italian we're having now. This man along with others on his flight who may be roaming about Lagos and other parts of the country spreading this virus were not quarantined. He had to turn himself in. If he had a wicked heart, he'd just stay in his house spreading the virus around his vicinity and community. |
Commentor:You want your untrained and illiterate policemen to use him for shooting practice right? |
noblealuu:That manna whatever guy is the most irritating and senseless oaf on this forum. Whenever I see his comments, there's this anger that suddenly brews in me. |
kitombo:Do you know the meaning of aides? They are not political appointees that you subject to federal character. They're more or less and are expected to be people you're comfortable working with it. Because of your comment, I took my time to go count the Yoruba and non-Yoruba names on that list. Out of 29, 16 are Yorubas and 13 are non-Yorubas. How does that translate to 80% please? Some of you just like being unnecessarily mischievous. |
DDeliverer:While I dont support the man placing blames on his wife for his misfortune, it would be very naïve of you to think a woman cannot use her witchcraft to reduce her husband to penury while she also suffers it with him in the eyes of the world. This is Africa bro. Mysterious things happen. |
iCauseTrouble:You're cheapening yourself just to please an anonymous moniker who may even be a guy like you.. Please try and build your self esteem please. |
itsme01:Stop trying to be clever by half by comparing apples with oranges. You're talking off point. When a crime has been committed, nobody says it's wrong for the police to check the phone of the suspects but the nonsense SARS officers do daily by stopping random people without any crime being committed just to check their phone and extort them by threatening to shoot or transfer money to them is the bone of contention here. |
edoairways:It is only when the lecturer did not include the student's name in the journal article published from the project work that it becomes wrong but trying to attribute the whole work as that of the student solely makes no sense because in most cases it's the lecturer that gives the student the research topic and idea and guides him throughout the research period, telling him how to go about the methodology, correcting the write ups etc. |
The slowpoke of a President opened his mouth to give idiotic excuses for wanton killings on behalf of FG backed murderers called bandit a.k.a Fulani herdsmen and one nuisance on this forum called manna something is up there laying curse on imaginary evil politicians sponsoring bandits instead of questioning the sanity of his daddy. Allowing idiots like that comment freely and pollute every thread with his unintelligent ramblings will only further demarket this once revered forum to a mere cheap blog. |
