MrRemedy:If you had taken your time to read the article, you'd have seen that she had 6 A1 in her WAEC including Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. |
Banee:Shut up. It's not everything you talk down your country about. I guess you're uneducated enough or too young to know that at least 5 governors have been impeached in this country since the beginning of the 4th Republic in 1999. We're talking about real impeachment where they left office immediately not this meaningless one the US did yesterday that will be reversed by their Senate eventually. Read about the likes of Fayose, Dariye, Alamieseigha, Ladoja and Nyarko before u spill nonsense about Nigeria not being able to impeach ordinary councillor. |
Sirjamo:Because you'll act as President, Chief Justice and National Assembly all at once. That's why your type can never be President cos we can't afford to have another disaster after Buhari. |
jakezebrax:See how dumb you sound to call Yoruba and cowardice in the same sentence. Who can be more brave than the likes of Fela and Gani Fawehinmi in this country, or is it your hero Ojukwu that ran like a woman to Ivory Coast and left your fathers and mothers to die like chickens in the war. Same IPOB that python danced on their heads and the soldiers were bathing them in mud are those you call tough. Your daftness is on a quantum level kid. |
agabusta:Where did you get this info of 10pm Saudi time, when Saudi is 3 hours ahead of GMT. All Major trusted media outlets have factored in undercard events and concluded Match starts around 9pm GMT, which is 10pm Nigerian time. |
Honor10:The brazen lawlessness of the DSS now better explains why Buhari and his cabal are angry with Osinbajo and relegated him to the background since this gestapo style is what they're used to and Osinbajo called the bluff of the then DSS boss Daura when his boys invaded the National Assembly by sacking him. Buhari is a mistake used to punish Nigerians. |
Sunisonflex39:The boxing match starts by 10pm Nigerian time, tomorrow Saturday 7th December, 2019. |
oluwamaich:The boxing match starts by 10pm Nigerian time, tomorrow Saturday 7th December, 2019. |
Mynd44:Really? Is this how you think, perhaps I overrated your level of intelligence, being a supermod here, to draw comparisons between Akinwunmi Adesina and Invictus who's a nobody. Someone who's a world renowned Agriculture Economist, Former Distinguished Minister of the Federal Republic and was good enough to be appointed the President of the African Development Bank.. What a thoughtless comment. |
Vanhooijdonk:His trial resumes in January 6th 2020 and not "tomorrow" December 6th,2019. It's a shame that we have mods here as the one that pushed that misinformation to the front page earlier in the day without even caring to read up the body of the article. You then ask what that person is moderating. |
This shouldn't be no contest at all.. Mane automatically for Africa's best. |
mabea:Other people have been contributing intelligently to the thread but you just had to find a way of showcasing your shameless tribal bigotry when it's not needed. Your type isn't needed in a sensible thread like this. Go to Politics and Crime sections where your unevolved types exist in multitudes to drag your Afonja and Igbo nonsense there. |
ibnlawal:Messi had a genuine excuse not to attend last year's own cos he didn't make it to the podium meaning he was not a contender. He finished outside the top 3 but Ronaldo was shortlisted in the top 3 meaning he was a contender and could end up winning, so he's supposed to be there. |
hulk616:You're quite a funny person. Because he won UEFA Nations League where Bernardo Silva was awarded the best player and not your Ronaldo? What else did he do.. Champions league.. zero, Golden ball..Zero., League title.. Messi won that also and won the Golden ball in Europe as well as Bernardo Silva for Man City.. so on what basis? Ordinarily, he shouldn't even be mentioned in the top 3 for any reason.. Mane of Liverpool is a more worthy mention to complete the podium with Van Dijk and Messi. |
ecolime:It's science beyond the 3D plane of the earth. A higher level of Physics - Metaphysics |
willy2000:He should even be older than 13, more like 17 thereabout cos the way started in 1967, that's 52 years ago and the man is 69 years now. It's not uncommon to see a 17 year in war fronts. |
dancok:Where in Akure please? and who told you the person is a ghost. I guess the ghost had disappeared again. |
post=84400791:You have proven to everyone that you're a government stooge and can't be objective in any issue that concerns this government. Even if Buhari's government put sand in your eyes, you'll still applaud them. That's why your opinions on issues like this should be disregarded. An open-minded person will investigate why ASUU is taking this hand stand and try to rationalize it but your own case is beyond pathetic. |
Esseite:ASUU is not exempting itself from IPPIS but that the peculiarities of the University system be factored into IPPIS before they can be enrolled into it which the FG is adamant about. Have you gone through ASUU press releases and newspaper publications on their reasons for this stance- at least there was a recent one on Guardian Newspaper, of just 2 days ago. If you have and still think ASUU has no tangible reason, then I can conclude that you have chosen not to be factual with yourself. |
Dupalmer:The University system is different from the Civil service. It's a global practice that lecturers engage in visiting, fellowships, adjunctships and sabbaticals in other Universities and they are expected to be paid in both places obviously. Without adjunctships and sabbaticals from lecturers of Government Universities, many private and some state Universities save for few would not be able to cope with manpower needs in terms of lecturers. With IPPIS, they can only be paid once at their host University, thereby putting an end to visiting lecturership which will be the natural end of many private Universities. Is that what the government wants? This is just one of the reasons. ASUU is not rejecting being enrolled into IPPIS but that the government should do the right thing by factoring all these into the IPPIS platform first but the FG is adamant. |
Don27tiky:IPPIS goes beyond change in mode of payment. Seek knowledge if you don't understand something, instead of following the bandwagon. |
Anambralstson:When the same conehead Premium times made an expose Of Former Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun who is an Afonja as your likes say, of using a fake NYSC certificate, people like you cheered them on calling it investigative journalism but now it's your Kinsman's turn, Onyeama, they've become coneheaded.. Can't you see you're a shameless hypocrite with double standards? |
How come Afonja is not blamed for this cos it's seems that's the fashionable thing to do on Nairaland these days. |
DonnyE:Same can be said of Mane.. Mahrez wasn't the stand-out player in the cups he won.. He wasn't even the best player of the Tournament even though he won it, his Algerian teammate was, started most EPL matches from the bench..The likes of Sterling, DeBruyne, Bernardo Silva were more instrumental .. You can't say the same for Mane.. Mane is a stand-out player for both Senegal and Liverpool.. Runner-Up AFCON, Won UEFA Champions League, Won EPL golden boot, currently firing Liverpool into a strong contender for the EPL this season. He's a better player than Mahrez in all ramifications. |
lloyds:Almost 80 you say? OBJ is officially 82. Only God knows what the unofficial age is. |
freeze001:I agree with your intelligent comment to a large extent but your point of him contacting Onyeama privately assuming his story is true is where I disagree. If Onyeama put his business and not his emotion first, he wouldn't deny a customer who booked a valid flight ticket the chance to travel with his Airline regardless of political reasons. The moment he did that, then he should be ready to stomach any unnecessary media wash-down like this one cos Igbokwe would want to massage his already deflated ego by that incident. |
Hangulsaram:Your last sentence is a lie. They don't vote for candidates in the South East, but for party instead. That's the only reason why the likes of Ikpeazu could get second term and Theodore Orji not only got governorship second term but was rewarded with Senate seat already in his second term there despite all the noise of how bad both of them were and how good Uche Ogah of APC is. |
Daviddson:It's on record now that Ebira has produced a governor Yahaya whether he is a failure or not. But the Okuns are yet to do so. Even just deputy governorship for them is still what you still have issues with and you dare label Igalas born to rule. What makes you different from them from this statement you just made. |
topcin:Stop lying. The figures you quoted for both PDP and APC in 2019 Governorship election are for the entire state and not just Obio Akpor. In Obio Apor, it was 281k to 7k votes for PDP and APC respectively. |
phatlytall:That is not correct. Lagos prevalence rate is 1.3% while Lagos population is approx 20 million. 1.3% of 20m is 260k not 2.6million. |
negro41:You're quite funny lol.. Do you even know about rankings like Times Higher, Shanghai, QS, Webometric etc? They're all foreign and handled by non-Nigerians where you get non-biased statistically analyzed rankings. Those are what I'm referring to not some local Nigerian rankings that would instead favour your ABU if we have such. |
