While I agree that the context the word is used by Nigerians is wrong, as in to mean a violent person with antisocial behaviours - the right word here is "lout"; still it's definitely an English word which could be a noun or verb. As a noun, it means a person that advertises to customers in an aggressive way (like the Osayas in Alaba Intl Market), while as a verb, it means to flaunt, publicize or promote.

What were you doing all these months that change of course/institution have been out. Don't you know there's an unwritten rule that change of course is only really effective for like the first 2-3 weeks it's out.

If I may ask, why did you have to wait this long to do the change of course when it's been out since like June. Why did you have to wait for schools to start advertising PostUTME before going to do change of course/institution. Didn't you know Jamb must have forwarded the names of those schools applicants to them and integrated it within their portals before they start advertising for PostUTME. Jamb won't stop selling the change of course when though they know they're done forwarding names to schools, just because of the free 2500 they'll get from your likes. That's Nigeria for you. Just pray there's something like supplementary names Jamb will send to the schools before they stop the sale of their forms. Always make hay while the sun shines. Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but you put yourselves in this precarious position.

Just the normal Pay 2500,login, Go to Registration, then UTME Data Correction, then Change of course/institution, effect changes and save..Your payment page should reflect Approved (Used) by now. When you print the original Jamb result slip for 1k afterwards, it should reflect the new changes.

Did they send you a message telling you this or you couldn't just proceed with this, cos I successfully did the LASU screening for my kid sister, Who I helped changed the institution to LASU in July also.

I need your advise peeps. My sister scored 191 in UTME, She chose Lasu as second choice. Now LASU wont accept second choice, so she wants to change the institution to LASU. But there is this grade point requirement. They said UTME - 50% and O-Level 50%. Can someone explain this?

The compliance level in the northern universities will be low because they will be told the strike is against Buhari and northern interest but to me, I think the timing is wrong because you dont make those demands from a country in ressession. To ASSU, this is the appropriate time to hold government to ransome because campaigns and elections will soon start.

The northern universities voted overwhelmingly in support of the indefinite strike. We're talking about intellectuals here, not almajiris who don't know their left from right.

I guess you weren't taught Singular and Plural back then in your elementary school to know that the plural form of thesis is theses, and that in the sentence it was used in that memo, the plural form was the obvious better choice as each lecturer is expected to supervised more than just one thesis.
