AroOkigbo:You can simply imagine some people's line of thought. Really pathetic. We deserve the kind of leaders we have. |
Roland17:Say what you know Mister. They've been persuading this government since its inception in 2015 to keep to that agreement (an 8-year old agreement) but it's obvious the Buhari govt pays no mind to education, as the Senate had tried many times to intervene but the govt has shown no real commitment. This is a govt that allocated more in the budget to the Ministry of Information (so Lai Mohammed could hire online lapdogs to spread propaganda around) than the Ministry of Education, in its two successive budget passed already. Where is that done in any sane country? The little gains we've managed to enjoy on our campuses today -TETFUND interventions (If not for this, most state universities will have probably only 1 or 2 buildings), NEEDS assessment and the likes, were results of strike cos the language the Nigerian govt understands only is force. Before you accuse ASUU of not holding on enough, try and see all the numerous avenues they've exhausted to resolving this issue, to no avail. |
eastafro:What's the financial implications for this? Any scholarships? And what are the necessary tests/exams that will be taken? |
mavinc4u:People have been on about this 90 days ish but it's all falsehood. The truth is as far as the constitution is concerned, Buhari can stay away for as long as he likes provided he handed over to Osinbajo to act, which he rightly did. The only way he can be ousted as it stands now is if he voluntarily resigns or two-third of the FEC (Ministers) declare him incapacitated and communicate such to the Senate who would then set up a medical panel to verify such. We all know that ain't gonna happen cos he appointed those ministers and they would never do such as they owe him loyalty. The only reference to 90 days (3 months specifically) in the constitution has to do with when both the offices of the President and VP are vacant, for whatever reason- and we haven't gotten to that stage now. That way, the Senate President will act as President for a maximum of 3 months before a fresh Presidential election will be conducted. These points can be found in the whole of Section 144 (sub-sections 1 to 5) and Section 146 (sub-section 1 and 2). N.B: I'm not a legal practitioner but a scientist that has taken his time to painstakingly study the Nigerian 1999 constitution as amended. I'm pretty sure any lawyer in the house would re-echo my assertions in this case. Cheers. |
Goddygee:You're even exaggerating the whole thing. Which job in Nigeria will pay a fresh graduate with just B.Sc 300k monthly? That 300k is roughly(and not even up to) the monthly salary of a Senior lecturer in a Nigerian University, and you what it takes to become a Senior Lecturer-Possesion of a PhD with many years of teaching and research experience. It's really a crazy world we live in. |
mmsen:England especially the south of it is arguably the place one should have the least worry of having access to Nigerian food. |
PFEM:Thanks. That's nice. |
Omonoba1:Ok God bless. Will be expecting. By the way, do you have an idea of the financial reward attached to this scholarship? |
Omonoba1:If you're on campus brother, could you please help snap and post that of postgraduate. I've tried contacting you on whatsapp, the messages didn't even deliver. |
Omonoba1:You're yet to read my messages on whatsapp. Perhaps there's a mistake with the number. Please could you help snap that of Postgraduate and upload here. I'll be very grateful. Thanks. |
Omonoba1:It's alright. I've tried contacting you on whatsapp now. You'll see some messages from me when you're online. |

What I'm seeing here is undergraduate. Could you please help post of Postgraduate. Thanks. |
Omonoba1:Do the letters include PG as well?
Please does this list include those on Postgraduate programmes- Masters and PhD (specifically)? I'm quite far away from Benin now. Could u please assist in checking a name there. I'll send u a PM. Thanks. |
No1Tribalist:Radio Biafra propaganda has finished this one. See the magnitude of the damage Nnamdi Kanu has done to the psyche of an average Ipob youth, and this sorta human will lay claim to have undergone any kind of higher education. Such a pity. |
Leez:Guess he has a job now. |
EasternLeopard:Your video as useless as the P in Psychology if it's not the Jewish scientists themselves that proclaimed such in the video. Was Kanu one of the Jewish scientists that conducted the DNA test, for you to believe whatever he says is right? Honestly this IPob thingy has exposed how gullible an average youth from that side is. I never knew these people were this dumb, if not for this Ipob and Radio Biafra emergence. What a pity! |
backtosender:Some of you are just senseless. What's the business of a Yoruba person about you lots being of Jewish descent or not? The newspaper that reported this news is owned by your very son, Ifeanyi Ubah, but you won't see that, but shout Afonja as usual. Very insecure lots with low self esteem and victim mentality. |
Benekruku:You shouldn't have dignified that imp with a response. Such fools are better ignored. |
Youngdream1:Straight from what he was served in Radio Biafra, and this person is supposedly educated. These are the categories that Nnamdi Kanu is thinking on their behalf. What a pity. |
InvertedHammer:So they don't have interest in busting drug dealers? Stop putting up weak and useless defences. If they had written Igbo language alone, your likes would have filled this thread with different chest-beating comments insulting Yorubas of how they are inferior. It's the other way round now, and you're writing this rubbish. Does it make any sense to you at all? |
Now I know these Ipob youths are some of the most stupid and gullible people one can ever think of. Imagine comparing Tinubu and a nonentity like Kanu who Buhari foolishly made popular, to become CEO of pigs and idiots. |
prodigy24:Mister, why did you run away from this thread when you've been busted. You thought you're dealing with fools here like Ipob miscreants that believe any rubbish from Nnamdi Kanu and Radio Biafra without thinking critically and verifying such.By this thread, you've even done more damage to Kanu's reputation than what you intended. Just imagine running a company for 12 years and the net worth is under 900 pounds, and I can't even find the Kanu's name on any of those screenshots. |
survivor1986:How do you mean no admission. You should at least get admission in a school there with that score, even if it's a State University. I find that strange. |
jojothegreat:You'd have to pay 1000 naira through Remita, preferably Zenith bank, to print the original Jamb result slip. To access that, you login to your Jamb profile and go to the Print Result slip section on the dashboard, after which you generate an RRR code, which you'll take to the bank. When it's successful at the bank, your My payment section on your Jamb profile should indicate "Approved(Not Used) for Print Jamb result slip. |
jojothegreat:Of course that is what should happen obviously, else you haven't effected the change. |
philpwresh:Your best bet would be state universities..I'm certain u would get Sociology at AAUA, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo state. LASU or EKSU could also be put into consideration. Most federal universities place a high premium on high grades in O'level except for few that consider UTME score more, like Uniben, but I'm guessing you're from the South West, so Uniben may not be that easy for you to get. |
Rockett:It's not gonna be sent to your mail. You have to pay #1000 for the original Jamb result slip. To access it, when you login, you'll see the "Print Result Slip" section on the dashboard. |
donblazer10:Still depends on his O'level and the course, which he didn't give us information on. |
Awesome835:284 is a fairly impressive UTME, but how good is your O'level especially if you're seeking a course like Medicine or Elect/Elect. Though you're not from the catchment area of Uniuyo but you have the advantage of coming from an Educationally Less Developed state (Ebonyi). |
SeyiGold001:Yes this is the correct route to take. Perhaps like I said, it's a technical error with the portal. It should come around pretty soon. Just keep trying at intervals. |
mkfemi:Is your payment status showing Approved (Not Used) under your My Payments section? |
SeyiGold001:Oops, that's a technical error from the portal. You could give it a rest and keep trying intermittently. |
