Working :
Let the number of fish caught on Monday be x
Therefore, number of fish caught on Tuesday will be 2x
Total mass of all fish caught on Monday = 15kg, Average mass of fish caught on Monday = Total/count = 15/x
Average mass of fish caught on Tuesday = Total/count = 23/2x
It is said that the average mass of Tuesday's catch is 1/8kg less than that of Monday's catch, Therefore,
15/x - 23/2x = 1/8
Find the LCM and collecting like terms gives:
(30-23)/2x = 1/8 which gives: 7/2x = 1/8
==> 2x = 56, Therefore x = 28.
Recall that x represents the number of fish caught on Monday.
Finally, The number of fish caught on Monday = 28 (Q.E.D)

They're not constant in any quantitative reasoning question. It could have been any set of different numbers. It just so happens that it's 3 and 5 that fit into this particular question.

As in, there are 3 digits at the top, 1 in the middle(in the box) and another 3 digits underneath. U treat the 3 digits as a single number. In one example there, we have 2, 5 and 8 as the digits at the top and 2 as the digit in the middle. Taking 2,5 and 8 as a single number gives u 258. U multiply this with the middle one, 2 to get the digits underneath i.e. 258 X 2 = 516

I don't think so. Clicking the "Admissions link" in the pic u attached, you'll see the CAPS link underneath. Clicking that would take you to the CAPS portal, but you must have changed your browser's (Preferably Chrome) view to Desktop view before logging to the Jamb portal. Otherwise, it will only show Welcome in the CAPS portal and not other links like MarketPlace and Admission status.

I'm asking this cos of my younger sis who was given admission in a Poly she didn't fill in the Jamb form. Now the Poly has instructed her that she should urgently, perhaps in line with this directive from Jamb, change her first choice of institution to them, so the admission can be ratified. The dilemma here is we have been assured that her name will be included in the next list from her first choice institution. My fear now is if Jamb stands by this deadline and the uni releases the name after this deadline, she could run the risk of losing out both ways. What do you advise?

The Catholic Church uses the bible but also have extra/higher knowledge of the bible simply because Jesus' Apostles who passed down their teachings did so in two forms: oral and letter. The Church having adopted these two forms, has a better understanding of what the writers of authors of the scripture actually meant. That said, every doctrine including the ones you mentioned above are all backed up by the scripture in part.

I fully know about Martin Luther and his doctrine of sola scriptura. He is the one who formulated sola scriptura which is unbiblical. So you can't attribute such confused act to God. Christ instituted only one church and prayed for it to be One. He also promised it the Holy Spirit and that He will be with it till the end of age. That was a guarantee! That nothing, not even the gates of hell shall prevail against it. So when your leader Martin Luther separated from The Only Church which is THE BODY OF CHRIST, he was on his own and not of God. He preaches different thing than what the apostles preached.

What you're saying is that Catholic doctrines like bowing to statues of Mary, praying through Mary, praying through rosaries, purgatory and all those that aren't scriptural were verbally passed down from the Apostles. Please what's the evidence for this?

Both states are very ok. However, let him pick Ondo. He can take Lagos from Enugu and alight at Ore. Ore to Ondo is about 20 minutes drive.

That's a long route. The NYSC camp is at Ikare Akoko which is quite far from Ondo town u just described. I believe there should be buses from Enugu/Onitsha that transit to Owo or Ikare-Akoko/ Oka-Akoko direct. Any of those would be better options.
